Abstract

The purpose of this study is to explore effective marketing strategies for increasing the occupancy rate at The Jayakarta Lombok Beach Resort & Spa, emphasizing innovative approaches to attract and retain guests. A qualitative research method was employed, involving in-depth interviews with key stakeholders, analysis of promotional activities, and a review of occupancy trends over the past three years. Findings reveal that leveraging digital marketing, optimizing pricing strategies, and enhancing customer loyalty programs significantly contribute to higher occupancy rates. The originality of this study lies in its focus on the resort’s localized marketing initiatives and their alignment with emerging tourism trends in Lombok. However, the study is limited by its scope, which focuses on a single resort, suggesting the need for broader comparative research across similar properties. Practical implications include actionable recommendations for resorts to integrate digital platforms and community-based tourism partnerships into their marketing efforts. Academically, this research highlights the importance of adaptive marketing strategies in dynamic tourism markets, offering a foundation for further studies on sustainable marketing in hospitality

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the writing ability of news texts of seventhgrade students at SMP Negeri 26 Pontianak. The method used is descriptive to describe the students' ability in writing news texts, with a qualitative research approach. The subjects of this research are the seventh-grade students of class VII B at SMP Negeri 26 Pontianak, totaling 31 students. The data obtained are the results of students' writing abilities in creating news texts in terms of structure and language rules. The results of the analysis of writing abilities in the aspect of text structure show that 7 students have excellent abilities, 12 students have abilities in the good category, 11 students have abilities in the fair category, and 1 student has abilities in the very poor category. Furthermore, the results of the analysis of news text abilities in terms of structure show that there are 3 students with abilities in the poor category and 28 students with abilities in the very poor category.

Abstract

Saat ini, media sosial telah menjadi platform untuk memperkenalkan produk ataupun bisnis dan ini merupakan peluang besar bagi para pebisnis. Dan media sosial Instagram merupakan salah satu media sosial dengan pengguna terbanyak tidak hanya di Indonesia tapi diseluruh dunia. Banyak perusahaan besar maupun start-up telah menggunakan Instagram sebagai alat untuk meningkatkan Brand Awareness mereka, dan Pizza Hart adalah salah satu dari sekian banyak perusahaan yang menggunakan platform tersebut. Pada awal berdirinya, Pizza Hart tidak banyak menarik minat masyarakat, namun dengan meluncurkan produknya melalui media sosial Instagram, Pizza Hart banyak mendapat perhatian. Berdasarkan fenomena tersebut, penulis ingin meneliti apakah pengaruh Penggunaan Media Sosial Instagram @Pizzahart_ta dapat memberikan peningkatan kesadaran merek (Brand Awareness) Pizza Hart. Metodologi kuantitatif digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Teknik pengambilan sampel adalah non-probability sampling dengan jenis convenience sampling. Pengumpulan data berupa survei online yang dibagikan secara direct message kepada followers akun Instagram @Pizzahart_ta. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari 100 responden. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis regresi linier sederhana dan aplikasi SPSS 24. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan Instagram berpengaruh terhadap Peningkatan Brand Awareness konsumen Pizza Hart. Analisis korelasi menunjukkan adanya hubungan yang cukup erat dan positif sebesar 0,292, dan pengaruh penggunaan Instagram dapat menjelaskan 71,7% variasi Peningkatan Brand Awareness, sedangkan sisanya sebesar 28,3% merupakan faktor yang tidak diteliti dalam penelitian ini.
