Abstract

Pandemi Covid-19 yang berlangsung selama lebih dari setahun membuat pengurus Ruang Publik Terpadu Ramah Anak  (RPTRA) harus berpikir bagaimana anak-anak disekitar RPTRA bisa terus belajar dan bermain walaupun tanpa harus datang ke RPTRA. Dengan bantuan dosen Program Studi Desain Komunikasi Visual Universitas Bunda Mulia yang selalu bekerjasama dengan RPTRA Dharma Suci berfikir untuk membuat media pembelajaran yang kreatif untuk anak-anak berkreasi. Pada sebelum masa pandemi kegiatan ini dilakukan langsung kepada anak-anak disekitar RPTRA. RPTRA sendiri adalah sebuah ruang yang digunakan oleh anak-anak seperti belajar dan bermain. Dengan mengacu pada sepuluh implementasi Program Pokok Pemberdayaan dan Kesejahteraan Keluarga dengan Program Kota Layak Anak Salah satunya adalah mengadakan kegiatan kreatif untuk anak-anak di lingkungan sekitarnya. Penelitian ini mengunakan metode  penelitian tindakan kolaboratif dan partisipatori (participatory action research/ PAR). Pada kegiatan penelitian kali ini, sasaran peserta adalah pengurus RPTRA Dharma Suci mengangkat tema membuat buku mewarnai untuk mengatasi strees pada anak terutama anak-anak yang berada disekitar RPTRA Dharma Suci.Kata kunci: media pembelajaran, RPTRA Dharma Suci, kreativitas anak, pandemic covid-19

Abstract

Indonesia has a lot of variety of dance arts. Starting from native to the results of acculturation.  Based on  questionnaires  conducted, some of people are less preserve the art of dance, especially Acculturation. The traditional dance is the most difficult art of dance. Some of traditional dances are the results from unpopular acculturation and exclusive . As the acculturation dances, One of  them is  qilin  dance. qilin dance comes from the culture of Hakka in Indonesia. This dance is only performed for a part of rituals.  The  reason is  qilin are a highly respected divine beast. which is very  disrespectful for devine beast to perfom dance as commercial. This research uses descriptive analysis method carried out as qualitative, by  collecting data from questionnaires. literature study, observation and documentary. With the results of the research that will produce the work of the qilin dance story book, this book will be published commercially to introduce qilin dance. From this research and create this children book, the author hopes people in indonesia will love more about  traditional dance, as the spirit of Bhineka Tunggal Ika.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis perbedaan antara sampul novel yang berjudul “Pada Sebuah Kapal” karya novelis NH Dini dari tahun ke tahun. Tujuan lainnya adalah untuk mendeskripsikan unsurunsur yang terkandung pada sampul buku sehingga bisa menyampaikan cerita dalam novel. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah studi literatur dari buku-buku dan media online, termasuk beberapa ulasan dari novel “Pada Sebuah Kapal”. Perbedaan sampul novel  terjadi karena perbedaan waktu publikasi. Pengembangan desain sampul novel yang dipublikasi tahun 1972, 1985, dan 2009 berbeda satu sama lain.Kata kunci: buku, sastra, fiksi, Indonesia

Abstract

Novel ini adalah karya fiksi yang dibangun dengan menggabungkan berbagai elemen intrinsik untuk menghasilkan sastra dan permintaan yang besar sebuah karya sastra. Salah satu novel terlaris dalam sejarah adalah novel "Harry Potter" yang ditulis oleh J.K Rowling. Novel ini telah diterjemahkan ke lebih dari 73 bahasa di seluruh dunia, dan menjadi penjual terbaik dengan 400 juta kopi terjual di seluruh dunia. Keberhasilan novel ini juga didukung oleh desain cover sebagai identitas serta ciri khas sebuah novel. Sampul novel "Harry Potter" memiliki banyak desain yang berbeda di setiap negara. Ilustrasi di sampul “novel Harry Potter telah sering diilustrasikan ulang dengan berbagai cerita dan gaya yang berbeda. Oleh karena itu, penulis tertarik untuk meneliti sampul novel "Harry Potter" edisi Amerika (Asli dan edisi ulang tahun ke-15). Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan studi literatur dan menganalisis ilustrasi, tipografi dan warna yang digunakan dalam desain sampul novel "Harry Potter". Keyword: Buku, sastra, fiksi, Harry Potter, original dan edisi ulang tahun.

Abstract

Flora dan fauna pada hutan  hujan tropis Indonesia sangat beragam dalam hayatinya, dan merupakan aset penting negara, bahkan merupakan aset penting dunia karena diperlukan manusia dan hewan untuk bernafas. Namun, sayangnya tidak banyak yang membahas mengenai hal ini, bahkan masyarakat banyak yang belum mengenal flora dan fauna di hutan  hujan tropis. Maka dari itu diperlukan media untuk mengenalkan kembali flora dan fauna pada habitat hutan  hujan tropis serta lingkungan agar anak-anak kita lebih mengenal kekayaan alam dan dapat lebih menjaga alam dan isinya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode analisis kualitatif berdasarkan data yang terkumpul melalui studi kasus, observasi serta kuesioner yang kemudian dijabarkan secara deskriptif. Media pengenalan dilakukan melalui buku ensiklopedia. Dengan terancangnya buku ensiklopedia ini, dapat menambahkan wawasan, pengetahuan, serta lebih mengenal kekayaan alam di Indonesia agar dapat melestarikan serta memeliharanya dengan baik.

Abstract

Early Child Education (ECE) students, who are 3-6 years old, are in Pre-Operation cognitive stage, that trying to recognize all their surroundings. ECE schools manage to introduce them simple objects, animals, their families and others. Furthermore, school also train students to be ready for reading, writing and counting. Art lesson can be one method to introduce objects and their environment, also to practice their fine motor skills. TK Dian Pertiwi as one of ECE school also implement art lesson in their curriculum. However, since the teachers are having more concern on other skills development and not all of teachers are having interest and skill on art either, it is necessary to execute a training to upgrade teacher’s ability on developing and delivering the art lesson to the students in attractive and educative method, that it may expand students’ cognitive ability as well. Therefore, in January 10, 2022 Visual Communication Design Department of Bunda Mulia University executed a training for TK Dian Pertiwi Teachers as community service activity.  The training titled“Creative Origami and Pop Up to Introduce Pet Animals for ECE Students”, was executed online using Gmeet platform, due to Large Scale Social Restriction Policy announced by Republic of Indonesia government caused by Covid-19 Pandemic. The training was divided into two sessions to explain about origami and pop up. Both sessions presented information such as history, benefit, types, basic technic, materials, and demonstration about how to make origami and pop-up forming pet animals, such as cat, dog, rabbit, and other pets. The participant followed both demonstration by doing the instruction and making their own origami and pop up. After the training participants are able to create pet animals using origami and pop-up technics, choosing appropriate materials, recognize the benefit of both technics and having inspiration to develop the art lessons.

Abstract

ABSTRACT                 During the Corona Virus Disease-2019 (Covid-19) pandemic, which has been going on for almost 1 (one) year, many people feel confused, anxious, afraid, and some are also frustrated. This pandemic has an impact on various sectors, such as economy, education, tourism, social and many more. Feelings of fear of contracting and facing death alone and other worries that everyone thinks about so that the level of stress is getting higher. There has been a change in lifestyle that is usually spent with friends now mostly alone at home or boarding house. Those who already have a family have a heavier burden, especially when it comes to dealing with work when working from home or WFH. Coupled with taking care of children's school and household activities. Stress is a person's emotional response caused by external problems or when facing various life problems. To some extent, stress is needed to be prepared to face the threat of problems. This kind of stress is called eustress or normal stress. However, if the stress is prolonged and causes suffering to turn into distress and can cause mental health problems, this should be avoided. One way to deal with stress during a pandemic can be done by making pictures. As stated by Herawati and Iriaji, they argue that drawing is a tool to express thoughts. During a pandemic when people are worried about leaving the house, coloring books are an alternative to relieve stress. But the obstacle is that people are afraid to leave the house to buy books and also during the economic situation in the family that must be regulated because many do not receive full salaries, so making their own coloring books is an alternative.

Abstract

For an educator, it is directed how to utilize this imagination to improve children's creativity in studying. Imaginative play naturally occurs in children, starting when children begin to think concretely until the child becomes an adult, but the habit of imaginative thinking is not maximized, needs to be taught and strengthened throughout his life. One of children's creativity is by drawing and using their imagination. Children need practice in imagining because they also need practice in applying every basic skill in their lives. This research uses a collaborative and participatory action research method (PAR). In this community service activity, the target participants are children aged 6-8 years in the North Jakarta Dharma Suci RPTRA. The results of the training of these activities children tend to be enthusiastic in following the material given. Children tend to be interested in learning more about making drawing, coloring and pop-ups. And it can be seen that children are able to imagine making simple stories with pictures and pop ups added.
