Abstract

This study aims to discover the aspects of walking participants awareness. The method used is phenomenological-descriptive. From the research, it was found that: walking means going to a certain point with a purpose; the activity of human life and using the legs given by God; the pilgrimage of life and a true walker is a person who makes meaning every time he walks. Philosophers have also described walking. Nietzsche found that any idea must be born out of the open air and free movement. Kant recognised that walking is simple, without a great mystical union with nature. While Rousseau confessed to never doing anything except walking, the countryside was where he learnt. He claimed to be incapable of thinking properly except when he walking. This research is very relevant to today's context where meaning is really needed in every physical movement. In addition, a healthy lifestyle is not only achieved with big things, but simply by walking.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the creativity of Catholic Religion teachers in realizing flexible and innovative learning at SMP Negeri 1 Sekolaq Darat. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques in the form of interviews, observations, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that teachers apply flexibility through language adjustments, simplifying teaching materials, and selecting methods that are appropriate to student characteristics, such as discussions, questions and answers, and reflections. Innovation is shown through the use of simple media such as images, religious videos, and student worksheets that are contextual and thought-provoking. Despite facing various limitations such as minimal technological facilities and a small number of Catholic students, teachers continue to show of a strong commitment and initiative in creating meaningful and valuable learning. These findings confirm that teacher creativity is an important factor in building a religious learning process that is relevant, reflective, and touches students' lives in real terms.

Abstract

Penguatan pendidikan karakter diperlukan untuk membentuk siswa menjadi individu yang bermoral dan bijak, terutama melalui pendidikan agama Katolik yang berfokus pada nilai-nilai moral Kristiani. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan penguatan pendidikan karakter religius siswa melalui pendidikan agama katolik dengan berfokus pada bentuk dan kendala dalam penguatan pendidikan karakter religius di SD Katolik 2 WR. Soepratman Samarinda. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan kombinasi metode wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi untuk mengumpulkan data dari informan yang terdiri dari 1 orang guru agama Katolik, 1 orang kepala sekolah, dan 3 orang peserta didik. Analisis data dilakukan secara interaktif, mulai dari proses pengumpulan data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa bentuk-bentuk penguatan pendidikan karakter religius dalam penguatan pendidikan agama Katolik untuk membantu pengenalan diri siswa dilakukan melalui doa rutin, kegiatan rohani bulanan dan integrasi nilai-nilai moral dalam proses pembelajaran menekankan pentingnya kejujuran, kedisiplinan, dan toleransi, yang membantu siswa melihat relevansi nilai-nilai karakter religius dalam kehidupan sehari-hari mereka. Kendala-kendala yang dihadapi adalah sumber daya manusia yang terbatas dan bahan ajar yang belum memadai.
