Abstract

This study aims to describe the management education curriculum in quality improvement: (1) curriculum planning, (2) organizing the curriculum, (3) the implementation of the curriculum, and (4) supervision of curriculum in improving the quality of education in Secondary School the First Catholic 1 WR. Soepratman Samarinda. This research was conducted with a qualitative approach and data collection techniques by observation, documentation, and interview. Data analysis was performed with the following phases: compiling, linking, reduction, presentation, and conclusion. The results showed that: 1) Curriculum planning the school has always emphasized the importance of the aspects of the vision and mission of the school, the changes that occur in the educational process, adapted to the program of the national education curriculum and local curriculum, as well as the circumstances and needs of the school. The stages of planning, namely: planning meeting of the curriculum, evaluation of the implementation of the curriculum, planning and discussing the program curriculum, setting policies and agreements program-the program curriculum. Planning is done at the beginning of the year learning with the involvement of the foundation, the school committee, the school superintendent, the principal, the vice principal, teachers, and administrative staff of the school. 2) Organizing the curriculum of the provision of duties and authority by the principal to the coordinator of the curriculum, namely the deputy principal and the senior teachers to supervise the learning process. 3) The implementation of education curriculum is implemented in accordance with the draft and the academic calendar as well as involving all members of the school community. 4) Supervision of the curriculum is done by checking the learning tools such as teaching materials and planning the Implementation of the Teaching and learning media. The management of the curriculum that can better achieve the goal namely achievement and the directionality of the learning activities are run effectively and efficiently, building the character of students, improving student achievement, and improving the quality of education. Expected cooperation, communication, and involvement of all members of the school community in the management of the curriculum so that the achievement of quality.

Abstract

Penelitian kualitatif ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan perwujudan katolisitas di tengah masyarakat yang pluralisme beragama yang dilihat dari aspek dialog dan kerjasama, toleransi, dan belarasa. Metode observasi, dokumentasi, dan wawancara digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data dari 12 orang informan yang terdiri dari OMK dan Pastor Paroki St. Lukas Temindung. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis mulai dari proses pengumpulan data, reduksi, verifikasi, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa perwujudan katolisitas OMK di tengah masyarakat pluralisme dilihat dari aspek dialog dan kerjasama, OMK membangun hubungan yang harmonis dengan komunitas beragama lain, menunjukkan komitmen mereka terhadap nilai-nilai saling pengertian dan rasa hormat. Toleransi yang ditunjukkan OMK melalui kegiatan menjaga keamanan selama beribadah dan kunjungan antarumat beragama menegaskan bahwa keberagaman adalah kekayaan yang harus dihargai dan dirayakan. Selain itu, melalui kegiatan belarasa seperti peduli Covid-19, donor darah, dan penggalangan bantuan, OMK menunjukkan kesediaan mereka untuk memberikan pelayanan kepada sesama tanpa memandang perbedaan. Perwujudan katolisitas OMK dalam konteks masyarakat pluralisme beragama adalah cerminan dari kasih dan pelayanan untuk saling memahami, saling bekerja sama dan saling mengasihi. Namun demikian, hendaknya menyusun program dan strategi yang terstruktur dan berkelanjutan dalam mendukung perwujudan katolisitas melalui dialog dan kerjasama, toleransi, serta belarasa.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the creativity of Catholic Religion teachers in realizing flexible and innovative learning at SMP Negeri 1 Sekolaq Darat. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques in the form of interviews, observations, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that teachers apply flexibility through language adjustments, simplifying teaching materials, and selecting methods that are appropriate to student characteristics, such as discussions, questions and answers, and reflections. Innovation is shown through the use of simple media such as images, religious videos, and student worksheets that are contextual and thought-provoking. Despite facing various limitations such as minimal technological facilities and a small number of Catholic students, teachers continue to show of a strong commitment and initiative in creating meaningful and valuable learning. These findings confirm that teacher creativity is an important factor in building a religious learning process that is relevant, reflective, and touches students' lives in real terms.
