Abstract

Over time the handling of covid is getting better, although in its implementation there are still problems from educational institutions that have to re-regulate the order of education. Likewise with the environment of Pesantren, entering the endemic period of the pesantren environment began to make various preparations to be able to return to face-to-face activities, preparations were made as a form of protocol to stay safe and inhibit the spread of existing ones. This preparation is a step towards dealing with the problem of the educational order. This research aims to find out the services provided by islamic boarding schools to their students duringthe face-to-face teaching process that takes place during the transition to endemic. This research is an exploratory qualitative, with a type of field research. Exploratory qualitative research to understand events, actions, and processes in the context of life. peliti carried out data collection with observations, interviews and documentation on several activities and informants at one of the Pesantren huts on madura island which lasted for eight months. The results of the study, namely 1) Theinhibition of activities outside the Islamic boarding school, 2) Theleveling of sick students every week to be treated immediately by the health department, 3) the provision of vitamins or supplements to good students. as well as the pick-up of students outside the island of J awa, especially those who will return to pesantren.

Abstract

Background: Increasing age is a new challenge in today's health services. With increasing age, the physiological function will decrease. Not only infectious diseases and systemic diseases, but the elderly are also prone to social problems and mental health problems, including depression. Depression is the most common mental illness in the elderly. Depression can significantly reduce the quality of life of the elderly. Aim: To obtain a deeper understanding of interventions and risk factors for depression in geriatrics.Methods: Literature searches were taken from Science Direct, Pubmed, and Google Scholar from 2020 - 2022, in which 8 eligible articles were found. The keywords used in the search were "depression", "elderly", "elder", and "geriatric". Article quality was evaluated using the CASP checklist.Results: The results of the articles were obtained from several countries. The interventions carried out can be grouped into several categories, namely interventions in the form of physical activity therapy, music therapy, psychoeducation, cognitive change, and problem-solving. This review helps inform several interventions that can be performed on the elderly and factors that support the success of interventions.Conclusion: There are several risk factors for depression in the elderly, by performing several intervention methods in the elderly, depression can reduce the risk of depression.

Abstract

Artikel ini menganalisis signifikansi pengawasan partisipatif dalam pencegahan kecurangan dalam pemilihan umum (pemilu). Secara khusus, fokusnya adalah pada upaya Badan Pengawas Pemilihan Umum (Bawaslu) dalam memerangi kecurangan pemilu, tantangan yang dihadapi Bawaslu dalam memenuhi tanggung jawabnya, dan efektivitas pengawasan partisipatif dalam menjaga integritas proses pemilu melalui aspek hukum pengawasan partisipatif dan pengaruhnya terhadap pencegahan kecurangan pemilu. Artikel ini menggunakan metode penelitian socio-legal studies dengan analisis secara deskriptif-kualitatif. Hasilnya, hadirnya pengawasan partisipatif pemilu sebagai bentuk upaya Bawaslu dalam menangani tantangan dan hambatan dalam melaksanakan tugasnya dengan cara memberikan sosialisasi. Ke depan, perlu ada evaluasi yang komprehensif, khususnya pada peningkatan sistem pemantauan pemilu di Indonesia, agar lebih efisien dan efektif.

Abstract

Freedom of speech is a human right and is also stated in the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia Article 28 E Paragraph 3 concerning freedom of association, freedom to express opinions or be given freedom of speech, but this freedom also has other provisions regarding the use of this right. in the regulations regarding cyber security in Republic of Indonesia Law Number 3 of 2002 concerning Defense. The state states that national defense aims to maintain and protect the sovereignty of the country, the territorial integrity of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia (NKRI) and the safety of the entire nation from all forms of threats, both military and non-military threats. Non-military threats, especially in cyber space, have caused the country's capabilities in the field of soft and smart power defense to be improved through strategies for deterring, taking action and restoring cyber defense in order to support the implementation of the national cyber security strategy driven by the Ministry of Communication and Information. Indonesian law also does not provide legal certainty in dealing with cyber attacks such as cyber espionage. Cyber security is not only the responsibility of the government, but also the responsibility of every individual. Awareness about the dangers of cyber espionage needs to be instilled in everyone. The National Police has a role in protecting society from cyber attacks.

Abstract

In the realm of preaching, there is undoubtedly a need for specific strategies to ensure that the preaching partners can effectively embrace the preaching process. Since converts are newly embracing Islam, and their faith is still considered fragile, intensive guidance is essential to lead and assist them. The Islamic religious educators have a noble duty to enhance the faith of converts through the employed preaching strategies, aiming to motivate, guide, and instruct them to understand the teachings of their newly adopted religion. The objectives of this research are: 1) To comprehend the preaching strategies of Islamic religious educators in enhancing the faith of converts. 2) To identify the supporting and hindering factors of the preaching strategies employed by Islamic religious educators in enhancing the faith of converts. This research adopts a qualitative research method with a descriptive study design. The findings of this research include: 1) Islamic religious educators employ three preaching strategies, namely establishing the Al-Muhajirin Study Group specifically for converts, providing virtual counseling guidance, and implementing SALAMAH (Joyful Home Services). 2) Three supporting factors are identified, including the widespread lack of awareness among converts about Islam, interfaith marriages, and environmental factors. On the other hand, three hindering factors include the lack of awareness among converts to learn and practice Islamic teachings, the susceptibility of converts to revert to their previous religions, and the influence of peer factors.

Abstract

Saat ini, teknologi informasi sudah berkembang pesat. Salah satu perkembangan di bidang teknologi ini ditandai dengan munculnya berbagai macam platform yang memiliki bahasa pemrograman tersendiri. Hal ini membuat peserta didik harus belajar lebih banyak dari yang sudah didapatkan dari Lembaga Pendidikan. Alasannya agar mampu berkompetisi di dunia teknologi yang semakin bersaing. Salah satu cara yaitu dengan melakukan pembelajaran mandiri atau Self-Directed Learning (SDL). Namun, kekurangannya yaitu peserta didik tidak tahu kemajuan belajarnya. Oleh karena itu, peneliti tertarik untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran untuk melacak aktivitas pembelajaran peserta didik. Metode pengembangan yang digunakan yaitu metode waterfall dan menggunakan IDE Xcode 12 serta Swift 5.3 sebagai bahasa pemrogramannya. Dan menggunakan arsitektur MVC sebagai algoritma pemrograman. Sedangkan metode pengumpulan data menggunakan metode eksperimen. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis satu per satu untuk menentukan keberhasilan pengembangan media pembelajaran. Aktivitas Self-Directed Learning sendiri terdiri dari empat tahap yaitu persiapan, penerapan, pemantauan dan evaluasi. Hasilnya, media pembelajaran dapat dikembangkan menggunakan algoritma aristektur MVC dan mampu melacak aktivitas-aktivitas tersebut dari peserta didik namun tidak bisa mengetahui penyebab keterlambatan atau ketidaksesuaian hasil peserta didik dengan tujuan pembuat materi.

Abstract

Indonesia sebagai negara kepulauan yang terdiri dari pulau-pulau besar dan kecil menjadi rentan terhadap dampak perubahan iklim. Salah satu wilayah yang juga rentan terhadap perubahan iklim adalah Kabupaten Lampung Selatan. Dampak potensial adanya perubahan iklim adalah perubahan pola hujan, peningkatan suhu udara dan kenaikan permukaan laut. Sektor yang akan menerima dampak perubahan iklim dengan serius adalah sektor kehutanan dan pertanian. Untuk mendukung upaya mitigasi dan adaptasi maka diperlukan informasi perubahan iklim yang terjadi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui variabilitas iklim di Kabupaten Lampung Selatan. Data yang digunakan adalah data curah hujan dan suhu dari Stasiun Meteorologi Radin Inten II selama 30 tahun (1991-2020). Metode yang digunakan adalah analisis kecenderungan curah hujan, analisis perubahan suhu udara, analisis perubahan tipe iklim dan analisis pergeseran bulan basah, lembab dan kering. Berdasarkan parameter yang dianalisis, variabilitas iklim di Kabupaten Lampung Selatan adalah tipe iklim Schmidt-Ferguson mengalami perubahan dari sangat basah menjadi basah, curah hujan bulanan dan tahunan memiliki kecenderungan yang menurun, suhu udara rata-rata bulanan pada umumnya mengalami peningkatan; serta terjadi pergeseran dan perubahan jumlah bulan basah dan bulan kering.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilaksanakan untuk mengembangkan Villa Flamboyan 98 sebagai model akomodasi wisata alam di kawasan Kiarapedes, Purwakarta. Urgensi kegiatan ini muncul dari meningkatnya minat wisatawan terhadap destinasi berbasis alam, sementara pengelolaan villa dan akomodasi serupa di Kiarapedes masih bersifat tradisional, belum menerapkan standar operasional pelayanan, dan belum memanfaatkan pemasaran digital secara optimal. Kondisi tersebut berdampak pada rendahnya daya saing, pengalaman tamu yang belum konsisten, serta belum maksimalnya kontribusi ekonomi pariwisata bagi masyarakat sekitar. Melalui observasi lapangan, wawancara dengan pengelola, serta analisis fasilitas, layanan, dan lingkungan sekitar, kegiatan ini memberikan rekomendasi berupa peningkatan kualitas pelayanan, penyusunan SOP dasar, perbaikan fasilitas pendukung, dan digitalisasi promosi. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman pengelola mengenai prinsip manajemen akomodasi yang profesional dan berkelanjutan. Kegiatan ini penting dilakukan untuk mendorong transformasi pengelolaan akomodasi wisata berbasis komunitas sehingga mampu meningkatkan kepuasan tamu, memperluas jangkauan pasar, dan memperkuat posisi Kiarapedes sebagai destinasi wisata alam yang kompetitif dan ramah keluarga. -- This community service activity was carried out to develop Villa Flamboyan 98 as a model of natural tourism accommodation in the Kiarapedes area, Purwakarta. The urgency of this activity arises from the increasing interest of tourists in nature-based destinations, while the management of villas and similar accommodations in Kiarapedes is still traditional, has not implemented service operational standards, and has not made optimal use of digital marketing. This condition has an impact on low competitiveness, inconsistent guest experience, and not yet maximized tourism economic contribution to the surrounding community. Through field observations, interviews with managers, and analysis of facilities, services, and the surrounding environment, this activity provides recommendations in the form of improving service quality, preparing basic SOPs, improving supporting facilities, and digitizing promotions. The results of the activity showed an increase in the manager's understanding of the principles of professional and sustainable accommodation management. This activity is important to encourage the transformation of community-based tourism accommodation management so that it can increase guest satisfaction, expand market reach, and strengthen Kiarapedes' position as a competitive and family-friendly natural tourism destination.
