Abstract

The aims of this study is to examine whether organizational culture influencesemployee performance, and examines work discipline moderates the influencebetween organizational culture on employee performance. The population in thisstudy were all employees of PT. Build Arta Hutama as many as 133 people. Basedon calculations with Slovin formula, the sample is taken as many as 100 samples.Analysis techniques use moderated regression analysis. Based on the results of thestudy it can be concluded that organizational culture influences the performanceof employees of PT. Build Arta Hutama. Work discipline moderates the influencebetween organizational culture on the performance of employees of PT. BuildArta Hutama with the form of "quasi moderator" means that work discipline has adirect influence on employee performance while moderating the influence oforganizational culture on employee performance.Keywords: organizational culture, work discipline, employee performance

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether organizational commitment, leadership style, compensation, work discipline, communication, work stress, and organizational culture influence employee work motivation at PT Mitra Andal Sejati Jakarta. The analysis carried out with a descriptive and inferential approach using multiple linear regression analysis on 84 sample people who were employees of PT Mitra Andal Sejati Jakarta. Based on the results of the study note that are organizational commitment, leadership style, compensation, communication, and organizational culture has positive effect on employee motivation, work stress has a negative effect on employee motivation and work discipline does not affect employee work motivation. Built upon the results of the study, it is also known that compensation has a dominant effect on employee work motivation of PT Mitra Andal Sejati Jakarta, therefore, it is better to pay more attention to compensation given to increase employee motivation.

Abstract

Kepuasan kerja berhubungan erat dengan sikap dari pegawai. Pegawai akan bekerja dengan penuh semangat apabila kepuasan dapat diperolehnya dari pekerjaannya dan kepuasan kerja karyawan merupakan kunci pendorong moral, kedisiplinan, dan prestasi kerja karyawan dalam mendukung terwujudnya tujuan perusahaan.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh motivasi kerja dan kompensasi terhadap kepuasan kerja pegawai dengan lingkungan kerja sebagai variabel moderator. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh pegawai Koperasi Pegawai Pelindo III Surabaya yang berjumlah 46 orang. Berdasarkan perhitungan dengan rumus slovin, maka sampel diambil sebanyak 41 sampel. Teknik analisis menggunakan moderated regression analysis.Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa motivasi kerja berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja karyawan Koperasi Pegawai Pelindo III Surabaya. Kompensasi berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja karyawan Koperasi Pegawai Pelindo III Surabaya. Lingkungan kerja memoderasi pengaruh motivasi kerja terhadap kepuasan kerja pegawai pada Koperasi Pegawai Pelindo III Surabaya dengan bentuk quasi moderator. Lingkungan kerja memoderasi pengaruh kompensasi terhadap kepuasan kerja pegawai pada Koperasi Pegawai Pelindo III Surabaya dengan bentuk pure moderator.

Abstract

One of the goals of an organization depends on the good or bad performance of its employees. Therefore, an organization or institution must be able to pay attention to its employees, direct, and motivate them to improve employee performance. Employees who have good performance will be able to carry out work according to the tasks assigned to them, understand the relationship between their work and the tasks of others, understand the institution's targets, and be able to understand and resolve obstacles faced in carrying out their duties. This study aims to examine the influence of compensation on employee performance; examine whether compensation has an effect on employee job satisfaction; examine job satisfaction as a moderating influence between compensation and employee performance. The population in this study were all permanent employees of the East Java Provincial Education and Training Agency, totaling 161 people. Based on calculations using the Slovin formula, a sample of 115 people was taken. The analysis technique used moderated regression analysis. Based on the results of the analysis, it was proven that compensation had an effect on employee job satisfaction at the East Java Provincial Education and Training Agency. Job satisfaction moderates the influence between compensation and employee performance at the East Java Provincial Education and Training Agency.
