Abstract

AbstractThe purpose of this study was to find out wether there was an effet of Mastery Learbing Model on Student’ Mathematical Problem Solving Ability in Matrix Material at grade X Al Ma’shum Kisaran Academic Year 2018/2019. This type of research was a quasi-experimental pretest posttes group research design. The population in this study were all class X consisting  of 7 classes. The research sample consisted of  2 classes (class X TKJ1 and X TKJ3 ) which were taken bycluster random. The X TKJ1 class as experimental  group taught using the Mastery Learning model  and the X TKJ3 class as control group with direct learning model. After learning was complete, the average grade of posstes of experimental group was 74,41 and the postest value of the control was 64,68. The t-test result obtained t hitung =  2,98 > t table = 1,66 then Ha was accepted  thus the conclusion was there was the Effect of Mastery Learning Model on Student’s Mathematical Problem Solving Ability in Matrix Material at grade X of Al Ma’shum Kisaran 2018/2019. Keywods : Mastery Learningm Matrix , Problem Solving Ability AbstrakTujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah Ada Pengaruh Model Pembelajaran Mastery Learning Terhadap Kemampuan Pemecahan Masalah Matematika Siswa pada Materi Matriks Kelas X SMK Swasta Al Ma’shum Kisaran T.A 2018/2019. Jenis penelitian ini adalah quasi eksperimen dengan desain penelitian Pretest Posttes Group. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh kelas X yang terdiri dari 7 kelas. Sampel penelitian ada 2 kelas (kelas X TKJ1 dan X TKJ3) yang diambil secara cluster random. Pada kelas X TKJ1 sebagai kelas eksperimen menggunakan model pembelajaran Mastery Learning dan pada kelas X TKJ3 sebagai kelas kontrol dengan model pembelajaran langsung. Setelah Pembelajaran selesai diberikan diperoleh nilai rata-rata postes kelas eksperimen  74,41 dan nilai rata-rata postes kelas kontrol 64,68. Hasil uji-t diperoleh thitung = 2,98 > ttabel = 1,66 maka Ha diterima dengan demikian diperoleh kesimpulan ada Pengaruh Model Pembelajaran Mastery Learning Terhadap Kemampuan Pemecahan Masalah Matematika Siswa pada Materi Matriks Kelas X SMK Swasta Al Ma’shum Kisaran T.A 2018/2019. Kata kunci: Mastery Learning, Matriks, Kemampuan Pemecahan Masalah

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to determine how the influence of study habits and interest in learning on mathematics learning outcomes for class X students of SMA Negeri 5 Pematangsiantar T.A 2020/2021. This research uses quantitative research. The population in this study were students of class X SMA Negeri 5 Pematangsiantar for the 2020/2021 academic year. Based on the analysis of the data obtained from the results of the study, there is a positive and significant influence between study habits and student interest in learning mathematics for students in class X SMA Negeri 5 Pematangsiantar. This is indicated by the obtained fcount of 5.224 with a probability of 0.011. Because the probability is much smaller than significant 0.05. This causes H0 to be rejected and Ha to be accepted so that student learning habits and interest in learning affect the mathematics learning achievement of class X SMA Negeri 5 Pematangsiantar. Keywords: Study Habits, Student Interests, Student Achievement.  AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh kebiasaan belajar dan minat belajar terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 5 Pematangsiantar T.A 2020/2021. Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan diperoleh fhitung sebesar 5,224 dengan probabiltas 0,011. Karena probabilitas jauh lebih kecil dari signifikan 0,05. Hal ini menyebabkan H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima sehingga kebiasaan belajar dan minat belajar siswa berpengaruh terhadap prestasi belajar matematika siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 5 Pematangsiantar. Kata kunci: kebiasaan belajar, minat belajar, Prestasi Belajar Siswa

Abstract

The study aims to develop a guided inquiry-based teaching module assisted by GeoGebra on the Conceptual Understanding of Quadratic Functions at Xth grade Students of Mas Al-Mukhlisin Tanjung Tiram. This research is a Research and Development (R&D) study using the 4-D development model, which includes the stages of Define, Design, Development, and Disseminate. The instruments used in this study include validation, teacher and student response questionnaires, and a conceptual understanding test. Based on the validator's assessment results, the developed open module obtained a validity value of 86%, categorized as very valid. The results of the practicality of the teaching module based on the teacher's response questionnaire were 100% and students were 83,17%, categorized as very practical. Meanwhile, the effectiveness of the teaching module, as seen from the concept comprehension ability test, obtained a value of 80%, categorized as effective. Thus, the guided inquiry-based teaching module assisted by GeoGebra on the quadratic function material at Xth grade is declared suitable for use in learning because it has met the criteria of valid, practical, and effective.

Abstract

This study was conducted to examine the effect of using LAPS Heuristic-based E-LKPD on students’ learning outcomes. The research applied a quantitative approach with a pretest-posttest design. The sample of this study consisted of 36 students. Data were collected through a pretest administered before the implementation of the E-LKPD and a posttest conducted after the implementation of the LAPS Heuristic-based E-LKPD. The obtained data were analyzed using a paired sample t-test to determine the differences in learning outcomes before and after the treatment. The findings revealed that the average pretest score was 69.36, while the average posttest score increased to 92.47. The statistical analysis showed that the value of , whereas the value of at the 5% significance level. Since the value of was higher than , H₀ was rejected and H₁ was accepted. These results indicate that the use of LAPS Heuristic-based E-LKPD had a significant effect on improving students’ learning outcomes. Therefore, the LAPS Heuristic-based E-LKPD was considered effective for use in the learning process.
