Abstract

This research aims to develop a microcontroller-based automatic liquid soap refill system integrated with the concept of a circular economy. The main problem addressed is the high use of single-use soap bottles, which negatively impacts the environment. As a solution, the designed system uses sensors to detect refill needs and perform automatic refills. A microcontroller controls this process, ensuring efficiency and user convenience. Testing was conducted to assess the system's performance under various operational and environmental conditions. The test results showed that the system functions well. Additionally, using this system reduces the use of single-use soap bottles, supports environmental sustainability, and reduces the cost of purchasing new bottles. This research concludes that microcontroller-based automation technology can be integrated with the circular economy concept to produce efficient, environmentally friendly, and economical solutions. This automatic liquid soap refill system not only enhances user convenience but also contributes positively to environmental and economic sustainability. It is hoped that the research results can serve as a reference for developing other automation technologies that support the circular economy concept.

Abstract

Kebijakan Pemberlakuan Pembatasan Kegiatan Masyarakat (PPKM) merupakan cerminan kesiap-siagaan Pemerintah Indonesia untuk mengurangi penyebaran Virus Covid-19. Disisi lain kebijakan permbatasan kegiatan masyarat tersebut mempengaruhi para pelaku usaha dalam kegiatan penjualannya, karena masyarakat diharuskan lebih banyak kegiatannya didalam rumah (Work From Home). Perkembangan teknologi informasi yang sangat pesat di Indonesia mempengaruhi kebiasaan masyarat dalam berinteraksi sosial. Media sosial merupakan salah satu cara yang bisa dilakukan oleh para pelaku usaha dalam meningkatkan penjualan dimasa pembatasan kegiatan masyarakat ini. Dalam penelitian ini dilakukan secara deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data observasi. Kesimpulan dari hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa para pelaku usaha mampu beradaptasi dengan perkembangan teknologi informasi dengan memanfaatkan fitur yang tersedia di media sosial untuk meningkatkan penjualan di masa Pemberlakuan Pembatasan Kegiatan Masyarakat (PPKM).

Abstract

Artikel ini akan membahas mengenai dampak penggunaan personal branding pada minat sewa bus pariwisata. Tidak dapat dinafikan bahwa saat ini dunia pariwisata pasca pandemic covid-19 kembali bergairah dan mendapat animo yang besar dari masyarakat. Sekait dengan itu, maka sektor pariwisata yang semakin diminati masyarakat mendatangkan banyak manfaat bagi pengusaha, termasuk penyedia jasa layanan bus pariwisata. Untuk menarik konsumen, maka penyedia jasa layanan bus perlu menerapkan personal branding, agar jasa mereka dapat dipilih oleh masyarakat. Penggunaan personal branding juga diperlukan untuk meningkatkan nilai pasar mereka di masyarakat. Adapun penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode kualitatif. Hasil penelitian mennunjukan bahwa penggunaan personal branding memiliki dampak yang positif terhadap penyedia jasa layanan bus pariwisata, yakni meningkatkan omset, membuat merek semakin dikenal, dan menjadi pilihan masyarakat dalam melakukan pariwisata

Abstract

The objective of the study was analyzing the Business Transformation Strategy of PT. Krakatau Steel (Persero) Tbk Towards a Sustainable Company. The research followed a qualitative descriptive method. The results of the analysis show that the business transformation strategy carried out by PT. Krakatau Steel (Persero) Tbk towards a sustainable firm is done through debt restructuring and cost efficiency to increase labor productivity to lead the company to profitability. As a business entity that grows and develops in the community, this company also always strives to maintain harmonious relations with the surrounding community through corporate social responsibility (CSR) or partnerships and the Community Development Program (PKBL), which is held regularly every year. In addition, PT. Krakatau Steel (Persero) Tbk also consistently takes part in the Company Performance Assessment (PROPER) program conducted by the Republic of Indonesia's Ministry of Environment and Forestry.
