Abstract

Learning theory is a coherent set of general principles and explanations of a number of computations and innovations associated with using learning events. Behaviorism learning theory can be used to help the learning process. However, it is known that many experiments in behaviorism theory are carried out using animals, which raises the question whether behaviorism learning theory is in line with Islamic teachings and can be used in Islamic education. This research is a library research which is analyzed by using content analysis technique. The results of this study are found to be relevant between behaviorism learning theory and Islamic education, as follows: (1) Behaviorism learning theory can be used to help the learning process of Islamic education (2) Behaviorism learning theory is a learning theory that is in line with Islamic teachings. (3) The existence of classical conditioning, repetition and reinforcement in behaviorsime theory which is also used in Islamic education learning (4) Behaviorism learning theory according to Edward Lee Thorndike contains four laws, namely: law of radiness (law of readiness), law of exercise (law of practice), law of effect (law of practice), and law of attitude (law of attitude), which are in line/related to the learning process of Islamic education.

Abstract

Masalah kemiskinan dan himpitan ekonomi menjadi masalah utama di Indonesia. Di tengah tekanan masyarakat tersebut, para pekerja seks komersial masih eksis. Namun banyak diantara wanita pekerja seks komersial merupakan wanita yang telah berkeluarga. Masyarakat juga memandang negatif para pekerja seks, karena pekerjaan yang mereka lakukan bertentangan dengan norma agama dan masyarakat. Hal ini mendorong peneliti untuk mengetahui gambaran self-esteem (harga diri) ibu yang bekerja sebagai wanita pekerja seks komersial, bagaimana seorang ibu yang bekerja sebagai wanita pekerja seks komersial menilai dirinya sendiri di tengah berbagai tekanan yang dihadapi mereka.Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Adapun subjek penelitian berjumlah dua orang ibu yang bekerja sebagai wanita pekerja seks komersial. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode wawancara semi terstruktur. Analisis data dilakukan melalui tahap-tahap, yaitu: menulis transkrip wawancara, membaca transkrip, coding, dan interpretasi data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ibu yang bekerja sebagai wanita pekerja seks komersial memiliki dua sisi penilaian, yaitu eksternal dan internal. Adanya persamaan dan perbedaan dalam menanggapi penilaian dari masyarakat serta pada diri mereka sendiri.

Abstract

The success of implementing an Information System (IS) depends on how the system is run by its users. User readiness plays an essential role in ensuring the successful implementation of new technology or system. To improve the quality of health services, the South Tangerang City Health Center has implemented the Health Center Management Information System (SIMPUS), but it is not following its objectives. The implementation of SIMPUS further hampers the smooth running of health services and the performance of the Puskesmas. This study aims to understand the level of user acceptance of SIMPUS implementation and explore the factors that influence it. The study used the Technology Readiness Acceptance Model (TRAM) and qualitative methods to explore data that could not be obtained from quantitative research by collecting interview data and Focus Group Discussion (FGD). The results show that the Technology Readiness Index factor influences the dimensions of the Technology Acceptance Model. Perceived usefulness significantly affects the intention to use SIMPUS to encourage acceptance of SIMPUS implementation. In contrast, insecurity does not affect perceived usefulness in SIMPUS use because users have not optimally used SIMPUS
