Abstract

This study examines the integration of social-scientific collaboration and local wisdom through bilingual learning to develop 21st-century competencies. This qualitative, descriptive phenomenological research was conducted with eighth-grade students at Muhammadiyah 1 Junior High School Kartasura. Data was collected via in-depth interviews, participant observation, and document analysis, validated through source and technique triangulation, as well as member checking. The results indicate that interdisciplinary integration Social Studies, Natural Sciences, Javanese Language, and English, combined with local wisdom and bilingual learning, significantly enhances students critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, character, and cultural identity. Project-based learning relevant to daily life and local culture fosters greater student engagement, confidence, and active participation. Phenomenological analysis reveals that students experience more meaningful and contextual learning, gaining a deeper understanding of social and cultural values, alongside increased pride and emotional attachment to their local culture. Students are able to connect academic concepts with real-life experiences, enhancing motivation and learning quality.

Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian mengetahui perubahan penggunaan lahan pada tahun 2005 - 2020 di Kecamatam Mojolaban Kabupaten Sukoharjo. Metode penelitian menggunakan studi kasus di Kecamatan Mojolaban Kabupaten Sukoharjo dengan analisis spasial menggunakan data citra satelit Landsat 5 LTM dan Sentinel 2 LA yang diperoleh dari Google Earth Engine. Data diproses menggunakan ArcGIS Pro untuk mendapatkan jenis dan luas penggunaan lahan. Validasi dilanjutkan dengan survey udara menggunakan pesawat tanpa awak pada daerah yang memiliki perubahan lahan yang signifikan. Hasil penelitian terjadi pengalihan, perubahan maupun penambahan di Kecamatan Mojolaban pada rentang tahun 2005 – 2020 berupa jumlah bangunan (permukiman dan industri) seluas 42,74 ha serta terjadi penurunan atau pengurangan pada lahan sawah seluas 229,37 ha dan lahan tutupan vegetasi seluas 42,74 ha.Abstract:  The purpose of the study was to determine changes in land use in 2005 - 2020 in Mojolaban Sub-district, Sukoharjo Regency. The research method uses a case study in Mojolaban District, Sukoharjo Regency with spatial analysis using Landsat 5 LTM and Sentinel 2 LA satellite image data obtained from Google Earth Engine. The data is processed using ArcGIS Pro to get the type and area of land use. Validation continued with aerial surveys using unmanned aircraft in areas that have significant land changes. The results of the study showed that there were transfers, changes, or additions in Mojolaban District in the range of 2005 - 2020 in the form of the number of buildings (residential and industrial) covering an area of 42.74 ha and a decrease or reduction in rice fields covering an area of 229.37 ha and vegetation cover area of 42, 74 ha.
