Abstract

Realizing a sustainable city in the application of Transit Oriented Development (TOD), one of which can be seen in the existence of a motorcycle custody area managed by the community. The study area is within 800 m with a motorcycle custody area as a transit node covering Jalan Laksda Adisucipto, Babarsari, and Janti in the Special Region of Yogyakarta, Indonesia. This area is the centre of business, economy, education and tourism. The development of residential areas (Barsa City) and business areas (Sahid Raya Hotel - J-Walk) are the indicators of TOD activity. This study analyses whether TOD can be adequately developed to increase the national economy and tourism mobility. The methods used in this research are literature review, interview, and field survey. The result is the TOD region's clustering with the transit node as the centre. This study concludes that further studies are needed to optimize the TOD area, which has the potential to support community aspects, one of which is in the economic sector. ABSTRAK Perwujudan kota berkelanjutan dalam penerapan Transit Oriented Development (TOD), salah satunya dapat dilihat adanya area penitipan sepeda motor yang dikelola oleh masyarakat. Wilayah studi yang dilakukan adalah radius 800 m dengan area penitipan motor sebagai simpul transit yang mencakup Jalan Adisucipto, Babarsari, dan Janti di Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta, Indonesia. Wilayah ini merupakan pusat bisnis, ekonomi, pendidikan, dan pariwisata. Adanya pembangunan kawasan perumahan (Barsa City) dan bisnis (Sahid Raya Hotel - J-Walk) menjadi indikator dari aktivitas TOD. Kajian ini menganalisis apakah TOD dapat dikembangkan dengan baik dalam meningkatkan mobilitas perekonomian dan pariwisata nasional. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah literature review, metode wawancara, dan survei lapangan. Hasil luaran penelitian adalah klasterisasi wilayah TOD dengan simpul transit sebagai pusatnya. Kesimpulan penelitian ini masih diperlukan kajian lebih lanjut terhadap optimasi kawasan TOD yang berpotensi dalam mendukung aspek masyarakat, salah satunya di sektor ekonomi.

Abstract

The results of the Eden Strategy Institute 2021 study show that Bandung City is ranked 28th in the world's Top 50 Smart City Government Rankings. However, from the results of the Asian Development Outlook 2019 study, Bandung City is ranked as the most congested city in Indonesia and 14th in Asia. Solutions to problems are offered in the form of Mobility as a Service (MaaS), an integrated system of transportation services, digitization, and the use of big data. The realization of MaaS requires contributions from all parties. The synergy between the government, academia, stakeholders, the media, and the public is called Pentahelix. The research stage includes the collection of primary data and secondary data by conducting a literature review. Then conduct a graphical analysis of multivariate data on Pentahelix with three assessments, namely performance, competence, and involvement. Next, modeling and loading were carried out for a pilot simulation of The Bandung City area in the eastern region using macro or meso-level traffic simulation software, namely PTV Visum 2022 (Student). After comparing with real-time analysis from the Google Maps application, comprehensive results were obtained with real conditions. As a means of controlling public transportation services, an Electronic Device Capture (EDC) hardware digital system is needed that is integrated between modes through software and artificial intelligence. The final stage of this study was carried out a risk analysis matrix for the implementation of MaaS for the city of Bandung with moderate risk results. MaaS is not a new idea, but it is a good solution to overcome congestion and change Bandung's transportation concept.
