Abstract

Post-stroke can cause partial or complete paralysis of the human limb. Delayed rehabilitation steps in post-stroke patients can cause muscle atrophy and limb stiffness. Post-stroke patients require an upper limb exoskeleton device for the rehabilitation process. Several previous studies used more than one electrode lead to control the exoskeleton. The use of many electrode leads can lead to an increase in complexity in terms of hardware and software. Therefore, this research aims to develop single lead EMG pattern recognition to control an upper limb exoskeleton. The main contribution of this research is that the robotic upper limb exoskeleton device can be controlled using a single lead EMG. EMG signals were tapped at the biceps point with a sampling frequency of 2000 Hz. A Raspberry Pi 3B+ was used to embed the data acquisition, feature extraction, classification and motor control by using multithread algorithm. The exoskeleton arm frame is made using 3D printing technology using a high torque servo motor drive. The control process is carried out by extracting EMG signals using EMG features (mean absolute value, root mean square, variance) further extraction results will be trained on machine learning (decision tree (DT), linear regression (LR), polynomial regression (PR), and random forest (RF)). The results show that machine learning decision tree and random forest produce the highest accuracy compared to other classifiers. The accuracy of DT and RF are of 96.36±0.54% and 95.67±0.76%, respectively. Combining the EMG features, shows that there is no significant difference in accuracy (p-value 0.05). A single lead EMG electrode can control the upper limb exoskeleton robot device well.

Abstract

Mark is a part of Intellectual Property Rights (HKI) which functions as a differentiator between one product and another, and a sign to identify the origin of goods and services. Not infrequently there are parties who have bad intentions to find shortcuts to success by piggybacking on the reputation (passing 0ff) of a well-known brand. Even though this has been regulated in Indonesia, it cannot be separated from the problem of infringement of trademark rights which has led to disputes in court, one of which is a trademark dispute between STARBUCKS CORPORATION and PT. SUMATERA TOBACCO TRADING COMPANY. The purpose of this study is to find out the regulation of trademarks and geographical indications governing well-known brands, how is the legal protection of well-known brands when there are registrations of other brands which have divisions into different classes, and how is the legal protection of the Starbuck brand, which has similarities in principle to the Starbuck brand registered in a different class, case study of District Court decision No: 51/Pdt.Sus/Merek/2021/PN Niaga Jkt.Pst Juncto Supreme Court decision No: 836K/Pdt.Sus-HKI/2022. The approach used is a normative juridical approach, and is descriptive in nature with secondary data sources which include primary, secondary and tertiary legal materials. The technique used in library research uses qualitative methods. The results of the study found that the lawsuit between the Plaintiff's Starbucks brand and the Defendant's Starbucks brand had similarities in principle. The researcher is of the opinion that the panel of judges is right in giving their legal considerations, namely there are similarities, similarities in the form of arrangement and number of letters, as well as the similarity in sound and assessment of the Plaintiff's Starbucks brand with the Defendant's Starbucks brand.

Abstract

This study is motivated by the implementation of the Income Tax Policy on the transfer of ownership rights to Land and/or Buildings in the Subsidized housing Program. The government enforces a subsidized housing program with an income tax rate of only 1% and an exemption from value-added tax (VAT) of 0%. PT. Tata Bangun Sarana is one of the developers of subsidized housing in Bekasi Regency. The purpose of this study was to analyze the implementation carried out by PT. Tata Bangun Sarana on PP Number 34 of 2016 in the payment of the Income Tax Policy on the transfer of ownership rights to Land and/or Buildings as well as adjustment efforts due to the enactment of the regulation. This study uses two data sources, the results of interviews and documentation of PT. Tata Bangun Sarana which were analyzed using qualitative methods. PT. Tata Bangun Sarana has implemented PP No. 34 of 2016 during 2020. However, in June, July, and August, PT. Tata Bangun Sarana still imposed subsidized housing selling prices in accordance with PUPR Ministerial Decree No. 242/KPTS/M/2019 for the Bekasi regency area, which was Rp. 158,000,000 which should have used PUPR Ministerial Decree Number 535 of 2020, which was Rp. 168,000,000. PT. Tata Bangun Sarana is recommended to improve management in policy implementation to make it better, in the future to better anticipate interrelated regulations and policies so that there will be no tax underpayments in the future.

Abstract

This research was conducted at PT Sari Dumai Oleo. The purpose of this study is to analyze Internal and External Factors of Transportation Delay at PT Sari Dumai Oleo. In this study, researchers distributed 20 questionnaires to respondents, and these respondents were directly related to the object of research. The research methodology used in this study is quantitative research method. Based on the results of data analysis and discussion of the results of research data analysis on the influence of internal and external factors on transportation delays, it can be concluded that the results of the study show a positive and significant influence between internal and external factor variables on transportation delay variables. Based on descriptive research variables, internal and external variable factors have a grand mean value of 4.11 which is categorized at Good level and transportation delay variable has a grand mean value of 3.80 which is categorized at Good level. Internal and external variables can explain or explain the variable of transportation delay by 56.4% and the remaining 43.6% is influenced by factors that are not included in this study. Based on the results of the t test, the t-count value was obtained > t-table (6.022 > 2.048) with a significance level of 0.000 < 0.050. This means that H1 is accepted and H0 is rejected. It partially shows that internal and external factors have a significant effect on transportation delays.

Abstract

The basic requirement that must be met in the construction of a bridge is the resilience. This resilience depends upon the supporting of bridge when the load that passes over the bridge. Loading condition on bridge is generally in the form of dynamic which can vary according to crossing conditions on it. This reason validates in difficulties in estimation the lifetime of the bridge. In order to maintain the good condition of the bridge the estimation of overloading condition and its effects of over loading on bridge need to evaluate to keep the bridge durable for that a bridge load measuring detector is needed. The aim of this research is to design an automatic load detector to test the strength of the bridge at dynamic loading conditions. The load detector designed through an Arduino-based load cell sensor. The detector equipped with I2C LCD display mechanism which can display the load on bridge and buzzer switch with warning alarm which can alert when bridge is over loaded. The total sensor mechanism was tested on a miniature wooden bridge with selected loads. During testing, the detector load cell sensors placed at the bottom of the bridge surface with a running load, the readings are considered recorded for several load cells at dynamic loading conditions. In the research work was carried out on the bridge using various load ranges from 100 grams to 25 kilograms on load cells at various positions. From the experimentation it has been noticed that, the load cell has displayed the smaller value as compared with the actual value due to the load distribution over the bridge structure. From the experimental data it is noticed that the average error rate 4.67%, hence the developed sensor system more suitable for practical application to evaluate the damage of the bridge.
