Abstract

Introduction: One of the Posyandu services for the elderly is blood pressure measurement, but the tool used is an analog tensimeter and how it works is still done manually. Posyandu cadres who are currently running are used to using these tools, but with the addition of a digital tensimeter, training is needed again on how to use a digital tensimeter. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of training on the use of a digital tensimeter on the skills of using a digital tensimeter for Posyandu cadres. Methods: This research method used quantitative with a quasi-experimental design with a one group pre-test and post-test approach with 24 cadres as respondents. Data collection was carried out before and after training using standard operating procedures. Results: Data analysis using statistical tests using the Wilxocon test showed that the results of this study obtained a significance value of 0.000 so that <0.05 indicated that there was a significant effect between training on the use of a digital tensimeter on the skills of posyandu cadres. Conclusion:  Training on the use of digital blood pressure meters is effective in increasing the skills of cadres in using digital blood pressure meters. Therefore, training targeting all Posyandu cadres can be used as a strategy to improve skills in using digital blood pressure meters and the accuracy of measuring blood pressure, reminding that digital blood pressure meters are a new tool.

Abstract

Relawan adalah tindakan kemanusiaan yang nyata dan sangat dibutuhkan. Banyak orang yang tertarik untuk menjadi relawan, baik anak muda yang belum lulus sekolah atau orang dewasa yang sudah sukses. Relawan tidak hanya ditempatkan di daerah bencana atau konflik, tetapi juga di daerah yang tidak memiliki fasilitas pendidikan dan fasilitas. Menjadi Relawan tidak mudah dan harus memiliki kemampuan dasar. Pelatihan diberikan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan dasar. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengetahuan relawan terpengaruh oleh pelatihan pencegahan dan mitigasi bencana. Penelitian ini dilakukan secara kuantitatif dan menggunakan pendekatan quasi-eksperimen dengan pre-test dan post-test. 96 relawan diminta sebagai responden melalui sampling purposive. Data dikumpulkan baik sebelum maupun sesudah pelatihan pencegahan dan mitigasi bencana, yang dilakukan dengan menggunakan kuisioner pengetahuan. Hasil: Analisis data menggunakan uji statistik Mann-Whitney menemukan bahwa skor peningkatan pengetahuan untuk kelompok intervensi sebesar 5.33 dan untuk kelompok kontrol sebesar 3.71. Hasil uji Mann-Whitney didapatkan nilai p<0.001 sehingga ada pengaruh pelatihan pencegahan dan mitigasi bencana terhadap pengetahuan relawan. Kesimpulan: pelatihan ini dibutuhkan dan bermanfaat bagi Relawan sehingga menambah pengetahuan dan ketrampilan tentang pencegahan dan mitigasi bencana. Volunteering is a real and much needed humanitarian act. Many people are interested in becoming volunteers, whether young people who have not yet graduated from school or adults who are already successful. Volunteers are not only placed in disaster or conflict areas, but also in areas that do not have educational facilities and facilities. Volunteering is not easy. Volunteers must have basic skills. Training is provided to improve basic skills. The aim of this research is to determine how volunteers' knowledge is affected by disaster prevention and mitigation training. This research was conducted quantitatively and used a quasi-experimental approach with pre-test and post-test. 96 volunteers were asked to act as respondents through purposive sampling. Data was collected both before and after disaster prevention and mitigation training, which was carried out using a knowledge questionnaire. Results: Data analysis using the Mann-Whitney statistical test found that the knowledge increase score for the intervention group was 5.33 and for the control group was 3.71. The results of the Mann-Whitney test showed a p value <0.001, so there was an influence of disaster prevention and mitigation training on volunteers' knowledge. Conclusion: this training is needed and useful for volunteers so that they increase their knowledge and skills regarding disaster prevention and mitigation.

Abstract

Abstrak Secara global penyandang disabilitas menunjukkan lebih dari 1 miliar atau 15% jiwa, sedangkan data Susenas 2018 penduduk Indonesia mengalami disabilitas 14,2% atau 30,38 juta jiwa. Penyandang disabilitas menunjukkan kesehatan yang buruk, salah satu dari berbagai gangguan kesehatan yang dialami oleh disabilitas yaitu gangguan kesehatan pada daerah gigi dan mulut. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan antara pengetahuan kesehatan gigi terhadap perilaku perawatan gigi pada anak disabilitas di SLB N Karanganyar. Penelitian menggunakan observasional analitik dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Populasi dalam penelitian yaitu 54 anak dengan menerapkan teknik total sampling, karena adanya kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi didapatkan 46 anak sebagai responden. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan kuesioner pengetahuan kesehatan gigi dan kuesioner perilaku perawatan gigi. Hasil analisis untuk pengetahuan mayoritas kurang dan untuk perilaku mayoritas kurang. Nilai p-value 0,074 > 0,05 maka H1 ditolak dan H0 diterima. Sehingga dapat dinyatakan bahwa variabel pengetahuan kesehatan gigi dan perilaku Perawatan gigi tidak signifikan berkorelasi. Kata Kunci: pengetahuan kesehatan gigi, perilaku perawatan gigi, disabilitas. The Level of Dental Health Knowledge on Dental Care Behavior on Children with Disabilities at Slb N Karanganyar Abstract Globally, there are more than 1 billion or 15% of people with disabilities, while the 2018 Susenas data shows that 14.2% or 30.38 million people have disabilities in Indonesia. Persons with disabilities show poor health, one of the various health problems experienced by disabilities, namely health problems in the dental and oral area. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between dental health knowledge and dental care behavior in children with disabilities at SLB N Karanganyar. This research used analytic observational with a cross sectional approach. The population in the study was 54 children by applying the total sampling technique, because of the inclusion and exclusion criteria, 46 children were found as respondents. The research instrument used a dental health knowledge questionnaire and a dental care behavior questionnaire. The results of the analysis for the majority’s knowledge are lacking and for the majority’s behavior is lacking. The p-value is 0.074 > 0.05, so H1 is rejected and H0 is accepted. So it can be stated that the variables of dental health knowledge and dental care behavior are not significantly correlated. Keywords: dental health knowledge, dental health behavior, disability.
