Abstrak Cara berkomunikasi yang paling efektif dan paling dominan dipergunakan oleh manusia sebagai makhluk sosial adalah bentuk bahasa yang diucapkan atau diartikulasikan.Namun kenyataannya tidak semua mampu berkomunikasi verbal dengan baik, diantaranya adalah tuna rungu. Berdasarkan penelitian yang telah banyak dilakukan, terapi musik merupakan suatu solusi yang terbukti dapat membantu kehidupan para tuna rungu di tengah lingkungan masyarakat mendengar atau di dalam âdunia bunyi/suaraâ, sehingga memahami bahwa bunyi dan bahasa merupakan bagian dalam hidup mereka.Di sebagian besar SLB tuna rungu Indonesia, terapi musik tersebut telah diterapkan ke dalam program âBina Komunikasi Persepsi Bunyi dan Iramaâ atau BKPBI, dan dalam pembelajarannya dibutuhkan media yang inovatif serta memadai agar pembelajaran dapat berjalan secara efektif, efisien dan juga menyenangkan, terutama melalui media yang bersifat visual.  KataKunci : buku anak, pop-up, tuna rungu, bunyi, musik  Abstract The most effective and dominant way to communicate and connect within a society life of a human as a social being is through a kind of language system that can be spoken or articulated. As a matter of fact, not all of us could do well of the verbal communication due to deafness or impaired hearing for some people. Many researches down in making had proven that music therapy is one of the best solution for helping the way of communication and the lives of many deaf people in the middle of this vast society which were eventually related to the world of sound. As for them who were incapable, this method helped them interpreting sound and language that were part of their life. Most schools for special needs cases of impaired hearing in Indonesia had been adding the music therapyto one of their learning method as it was then called "Bina Komunikasi Persepsi Bunyi dan Irama (BKPBI)" which needs the innovative learning so the teaching itself could be sufficient to run effectively, efficiently, and also fun, especially through the module of visual media.
