Abstract

This community service stems from the discovery of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) "Najah" Moci Cakes which still use plastic packaging bags to wrap products purchased by consumers. Plastic packaging is not only dangerous for the sustainability of life for all creatures in the world, but also gives the impression of a less classy product. One way for MSMEs to reduce the negative impact of plastic is by switching to environmentally friendly packaging, namely bags made of paper (paperbags) as product packaging. Apart from being safer for the earth, using paper bags can also give a more elegant impression to a product. The use of attractive paper bags can also function as a promotional tool for a product. This community service aims to educate "Najah" moci cake MSMEs to use attractive and environmentally friendly packaging, thus making it a valuable product. The solution offered is to provide knowledge and assistance in implementing attractive and environmentally friendly product packaging for MSMEs. The method for implementing community service activities is the counseling and mentoring method. This community service has been proven to provide benefits to MSMEs. There has been an increase in partners' knowledge and understanding of the importance of using environmentally friendly packaging. Apart from that, partners have also started implementing environmentally friendly packaging for their products. Keywords: Moci Cake, Packaging, Environmentally Friendly, Promotion, MSMEs

Abstract

The "Najah" moci cake business is one of the MSMEs affected by the Covid-19 pandemic, where its business has experienced a decline. After the Covid-19 pandemic subsides in 2022, these MSMEs are starting to try to get back on their feet. However, sales results were not as expected. The small amount of sales of this moci product could be due to the fact that this product is not well known by the public. So far, activities to introduce products to the public or promotions have not been carried out. Therefore, it is very important for MSMEs to carry out promotional activities so that they are known to the wider community. This Community Service aims to help MSMEs in promotional activities via sosial media so that they can support the success of their business. The method for implementing community service activities is the training and mentoring method. After carrying out community service, there has been a positive change in the "Najah" moci cake MSME actors, where MSME actors can carry out promotional activities through sosial media, especially Facebook and Instagram. Abstract

Institutional theory suggests that company policies are likely to be altered when they experience three types of influences: coercive, normative, and mimetic isomorphism. These three occurrences prompted companies to engage in activities related to Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG). The majority of previous researches had primarily examined the relationship between ESG factors and financial performance, firm value, and information asymmetry. One way to address the existing research gaps is by undertaking research on ESG factors, considering the impact of variables such as the size and age of the company, the industry it operates in, and its institutional ownership. The objective of this research is to conduct an ESG analysis, considering factors such as company size, company age, industry type, and institutional ownership. This research employed a quantitative methodology as its approach. This research utilized secondary data. The sampling method employed was purposive sampling. The utilization of multiple linear regression analysis was employed for the analysis. The findings of the study showed that the nature of the industry influenced the ESG performance, while the size of the company, its age, and ownership structure did not have any impact on ESG
