Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas bentuk soal sumatif keterampilan menyimak BIPA 4 di Balai Bahasa UPI dan kesesuaian soal dengan indikator kelulusan pada SKL BIPA 4 menurut Permendikbud No 27 Tahun 2017. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bentuk soal berupa UAP (Ujian Akhir Program) dengan jenis  soal objektif berupa soal pilihan ganda berjumlah 20 soal yang terbagi menjadi sesi A dan sesi B. Keduanya telah sesuai dengan indikator lulusan pada SKL BIPA 4 menurut Permendikbud No 27 Tahun 2017 yakni pada elemen kompetensi 2.1. (Mampu memahami diskusi/pidato/ceramah dengan alur argumen yang kompleks dengan topik yang sudah dikenal) dan 2.2. (Mampu menyimpulkan informasi dari berita yang berasal dari media elektronik). Sedangkan untuk elemen kompetensi 2.3. (Mampu memahami film Indonesia berdurasi pendek yang beralur sederhana) tidak muncul baik di sesi A maupun sesi B, karena topik yang diangkat adalah seputar musik favorit dan lowongan pekerjaan.

Abstract

The aims of this study were: 1) To determine the linguistic factor which is the biggest cause of difficulty in reading Arabic texts in class VIII students of Mathla’u al-Anwâr Pontianak in the academic year 2020/2021; 2) Knowing non-linguistic factors is the biggest cause of difficulty in reading Arabic texts by grade VIII students of Mathla’u al-Anwâr Pontianak for the 2020/2021 academic year. This study uses a quantitative approach using descriptive methods and the type of field research. The data collection instruments used oral and written tests, questionnaires and documentation. The data analysis technique that we used is quantitative data analysis with average analysis and factor analysis with confirmatory factor analysis techniques. The results of this study are: 1) The linguistic factor which is the biggest cause of difficulty in reading Arabic texts in Class VIII students of Mathla’u al-Anwâr Pontianak Academic Year 2020/2021 is a grammar factor with an average score of 42.35. 2) The non-linguistic factors that became the biggest cause of difficulty in reading Arabic texts in class VIII students of Mathla’u al-Anwâr Pontianak for the 2020/2021 academic year were student factors with an eigenvalue of 10.641 and a variance of 53.2%.

Abstract

Penutur Arab sering mengalami kesulitan dalam tingkat fonetik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi implementasi strategi Sound Association dalam meningkatkan kemampuan pelafalan pemelajar Bahasa Indonesia bagi Penutur Asing (BIPA) penutur Arab. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah single subject research, sebuah pendekatan kuantitatif yang memungkinkan analisis mendalam terhadap perubahan tingkat kemampuan pelafalan fonetik pada individu pemelajar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dalam kondisi baseline, ditemukan bahwa persentase kemampuan pelafalan fonetik pemelajar masih rendah, berkisar antara 6,25% - 12%. Setelah intervensi dengan strategi Sound Association pada kondisi intervensi, terjadi peningkatan yang signifikan, mencapai puncak sebesar 96%. Hasil penelitian ini menyoroti dampak positif strategi Sound Association dalam membantu pemelajar BIPA Arab dalam melafalkan huruf, diftong, dan gabungan beberapa huruf konsonan.

Abstract

This research aims to develop digital teaching materials for Indonesian phonetics designed with sound association to support basic-level BIPA learners. This research method used research and development with the 4-D model, which consists of Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate stages. The research instruments included pronunciation ability tests, learner needs questionnaires, BIPA teacher interview instruments, and validation sheets from experts and practitioners. The data analysis techniques used were qualitative and quantitative methods and Gregory's validity test with validity assessment criteria using the Likert Scale 1-4. The validation results indicated that the materials were "feasible" with some necessary revisions. After making the suggested revisions, the revised materials were piloted with basic-level BIPA learners. Feedback from these learners rated the materials as "very feasible", indicating a positive reception. The final product is a digital flipbook equipped with audio pronunciation guides and illustrations that can be accessed online. This format provides a flexible and engaging alternative for improving Indonesian pronunciation for Arabic-speaking BIPA learners, making it a valuable addition to the available teaching resources.
