Abstract

ABSTRACT Background. Immunization as a preventive way to prevent infectious diseases. Aim. This study aims to analyze the factors associated with infant basic immunization status (9-12 months) in the Work Area of Sikumana Health Center, Kupang City. Method. The design of this study was quantitative by using a cross sectional study design. Sampling in this study uses purposive sampling with a total sample of 116 respondents, this research instrument uses a questionnaire sheet. Results. The results of this study showed that the majority of respondents had the support of health workers by percentage (63.6%), distance to health facilities was less than 1 km by percentage (62.7%), mother's education (basic) by percentage (62.7%) , and most of the respondents 'knowledge of mothers are in the good category with a percentage (70.9%), occupational mothers who work with a percentage (63.6%), and the majority of respondents' attitudes or behaviors are in the poor category with a percentage (58.2% ) and infant immunization status is incomplete with a percentage (56.4%). Based on the Chi Square statistical test results found that there are 3 factors related to the basic immunization status of infants (9-12 months), namely maternal education with a result of p = 0.019 where p <0.05, maternal employment factors with a result of p = 0.062 where p <0, 05 and maternal behavior (attitude) with the result p = 0.075 where p <0.05. It is hoped that health workers pay more attention and increase the knowledge of mothers about infant immunization, and coordinate with Posyandu cadres related to the immunization schedule. Abstract

Background: There will be various changes in the elderly both physical and psychological during aging process which can lead to various health issues. One of the physical changes is sexual function, namely the reproductive organs will experience changes because egg cells are no longer produced due to the cessation of menstruation. Aim: This study aimed to explore the perception of the elderly regarding menopause in Leleko village, Remboken sub-district. The Method used qualitative phenomenology with 7 main participants and 3 supporting participants, the data collection used in-depth interviews and observations. Result: based on interviews with all participants found 3 main themes, namely 1) Changes in various aspects of life before menopause, 2) Reaction to changes experienced and 3). The impression of the elderly about menopause. Conclusion: This study found that the elderly do not quite understand what menopause is, for that it is necessary to have education or counseling by health workers regarding what menopause is. For further researchers, they can use different methods other than phenomenological studies or the participants can be added. Keywords:  Elderly; Menopause; Perception.

Abstract

Abstrak Latar belakang Kehamilan pada ibu yang mengalami hipertensi menyebabkan perubahan yang intens, baik fisik maupun psikologis, dalam kehidupan seorang ibu hamil. Ibu hamil yang mengalami hipertensi dapat membuat kualitas hidup menurun jika perilaku manajemen perawatan diri tidak dikontrol dengan baik. Tujuan Untuk mengetahui hubungan antara perilaku manajemen perawatan diri dengan Kualitas hidup pada ibu hamil yang mengalami hipertensi puskesmas kota Manado. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Penelitin ini dilakukan di 16 puskesmas dengan jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini yaitu 44 ibu hamil yang mengalami hipertensi yang di ambil dengan teknik sampel yaitu Cluster Random, Stratified Random Sample dan Purposive Sampling. Intrumen peneliin yang digunakan Hypertension self manajement Behavior Quetionnaire dan World Health Organization Quality Of Life da data di analisis menggunakan uji chi square. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan mayoritas (56,8%) perilaku manajemen perawatan diri berada pada kategori baik dan (72,7%) mayoritas ibu hamil berada dalam kualitas hidup yang baik, Hasil uji statistik menunjukan nilai p value=0,009. Kesimpulan yaitu terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara perilaku manajemen perawatan diri dengan kualitas hidup. Kata Kunci:Ibu Hamil, Hipertensi, Perilaku Manajemen Perawatan Diri, Kualitas Hidup Abstract Background. Pregnancy in a mother with hypertension causes intense changes, both physical and psychological, in the life of a pregnant woman. Pregnant women who experience hypertension can make the quality of life decrease if self-care management behavior is not well controlled. Objective To determine the relationship between self-care management behavior and quality of life in pregnant women who experience hypertension at the Manado city health center. Methods This research used quantitative method with cross sectional approach. This research was conducted in 16 health centers with the number of samples in this study were 44 pregnant women who experienced hypertension who were taken with sampling techniques namely Cluster Random, Stratified Random Sample and Purposive Sampling. The research instrument used Hypertension Self-Management Behavior Quetionnaire and World Health Organization Quality Of Life and the data were analyzed using the chi-square. Results This study shows the majority (56.8%) of self-care management behavior is in the good category and (72.7%) the majority of pregnant women are in a good quality of life, the results of statistical tests show a p value = 0.009. Conclusion There is a significant relationship between self-care management behavior and quality of life. Keywords: Pregnant Women, Hypertension, Self-care Management Behavior, Quality of Life

Abstract

Tekanan darah tinggi merupakan salah satu penyakit tidak menular yang beresiko terjadinya penyakit stroke, serangan jantung, gagal jantung dan aneurisma arteria sampai dengan kematian. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeskplorasi tentang Pengalaman Keluarga Sebagai Caregiver Dalam Merawat Pasien Hipertensi Selama Masa Covid 19. Metode Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan teknik indepth interview dengan 6 partisipan utama dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Data dianalisis menggunakan analisis konten dari Colaizzi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan Proses perawatan yang dilakukan Caregiver untuk pasien hipertensi mempunyai lingkup sangat luas dengan melibatkan seluruh emosional, tugas, hambatan, dan upaya dari Caregiver.  Proses perawatan dapat mempengaruhi aspek kehidupan Caregiver sendiri yang memunculkan akan adanya dukungan, harapan, dan makna dari merawat pasien. Disarankan pemberian informasi berkelanjutan oleh petugas kesehatan tentang pentingnya dukungan keluarga dalam menurunkan tekanan darah.

Abstract

Coronavirus Disease 2019 (Covid-19) has become a pandemic worldwide, including in Indonesia. The transmission of Covid-19 in Indonesia is very fast and affects 34 provinces, many of which are in red zones. North Sulawesi is one of the provinces with a very fast Covid-19 transmission. Public knowledge and attitudes towards the Covid-19 pandemic are very important to reduce the risk of infection among the community. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between knowledge and attitudes with the risk of contracting Covid-19 in the people of North Sulawesi. The research design used was descriptive correlation with cross sectional approach, with a sample size of 400 respondents who were selected using the consecutive sampling method. Data collection used a google form questionnaire and analyzed using Fisher's Exact Test. The results showed that there was a relationship between knowledge and attitudes with the risk of contracting Covid 19 in the people of North Sulawesi with a p value (0.000). Good knowledge and a positive attitude from the public in dealing with the Covid-19 pandemic can make people take real action to reduce the risk of contracting Covid-19.
