Abstract

Adolescence is when a person begins to learn to be an adult human being. Therefore, there is a need for coaching. On the other hand, adolescence also experiences resilience. For this reason, faith formation is needed. This also happened to the students of St. Fransiskus Vocational School Semarang. Therefore, faith-building at St. Fransiskus Vocational School affects student resilience. To discuss this problem, the researcher conducted a study entitled The Correlation Between Faith Development and Resilience in Catholic Adolescents at St. Fransiskus Vocational School Semarang as the subject of the study was a Catholic student at St. Fransiskus Vocational School Semarang. The method used is descriptive quantitative with correlational techniques. This research was conducted from July to September 2021. The variables of this research are independent variables of Catholic faith development and dependent variables of adolescents. The research population was all St. Fransiskus Vocational School Semarang students, and samples were taken using simple random sampling techniques. The theoretical basis used is the theory of faith development and adolescent resilience. The results showed that the calculated r-value (rxy) was 0.6373, which was included in the relatively strong or high category (the calculated r-value was 0.41 - 0.70). Based on the data analysis, it was concluded that there is a correlation between faith development and resilience in Catholic adolescents at St. Fransiskus Vocational School in Semarang. The percentage of contribution of faith development to resilience in Catholic adolescents at St. Fransiskus Vocational School Semarang is 40.61%, based on calculations using the product-moment correlation formula.

Abstract

This research measures the index of religious moderation in the city of Semarang and analyzes the dimensions of religious moderation that include 4 indicators of religious moderation, namely 1) national commitment, 2) tolerance, 3) anti-violence and 4) accommodative to local culture. Semarang is a city that has a plurality of religions as well as ethnic groups. This can actually be the main capital in regional development. The research method used in this study was an approach with quantitative descriptive statistics. The population of this study was Semarang people, with the number of 1,681,058 in 16 districts. The sampling technique was carried out by stratified random sampling where the representatives from each of the districts were taken. 611 people were selected as the research sample. The research focus was on the four indicators of religious moderation. Retrieval of data used a questionnaire. Data was processed descriptively. After conducting a field survey by FKUB Semarang City in 2021, the results obtained were that the religious moderation harmony index was 77.5 (very high). Furthermore, the index of the four indicators are national commitment, tolerance, anti-violence, adaptive to local culture respectively 70.23; 82.90; 77.93; 83,43. All the indexes have very good criteria, but the national commitment index is still high.

Abstract

Study This aiming For analyze influence boarding school environment and social media use to development profile Pancasila students in students, with contributions social and resilience self as variable mediation. Profile Pancasila students are initiative the Indonesian government to to form generation that has character strong, have integrity, and be able apply Pancasila values in life everyday. The research method used is approach quantitative with design correlational survey, which involves students in the boarding school environment as respondents. Data collected through questionnaire that includes aspect boarding school environment, use of social media, contribution social, resilience self, and characteristics Pancasila Students. Data analysis was carried out using the technique regression multiple and analysis track For test influence direct and also No direct between variable independent, mediation, and dependent. Research results This expected give description about to what extent the boarding school environment and social media play a role in development Pancasila values in students, as well as role important contribution social and resilience self as factor mediation. Findings This expected can become reference for institution education in optimize environment learning and use of social media For to form character student according to profile Pancasila Students.
