Abstract

The research was purpose to increase the learning achievement and learning activities of students in class XI IPS-2 SMA Kristen Immanuel Batam through peer teaching learning model. This research was conducted in the academic year 2019/2020 even semester and the research participants were 24 students. The study was cconducted in February until June 2020. The data collection technique was from primary data on learning achievement and student learning activity questionnaires. Qalitative descriptive data analysis technique. The results of this study have increased student learning achievement and learning activities after using the peer teaching learning model. The pre-cycle learning achievement completeness score was 4.67%, and the pre-cycle average score was 61.46. The score of completeness learning achievement in cycle I is 79.17%, and the average score of cycle I is 76.25. The score of completenees of learning achievement in cycle II is 91.67%, and the average score of cycle II is 83.96. The precentage of pre-cycle high category learning activities was 33.33%. The percentage of learning activities in the high category of cycle I was 70.83%. The percentage of learning activities in the high category of cycle II was 87.50%.

Abstract

Generasi muda sebagai pilar masa depan suatu bangsa menghadapi berbagai tantangan dan dinamika yang mempengaruhi perkembangan karakter mereka di era global dan digital. Generasi muda saat ini dipengaruhi oleh berbagai faktor seperti pendidikan, lingkungan sosial, teknologi, dan pengaruh orang tua dalam membentuk motivasi dan niat mereka dalam berbagai aspek kehidupan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan campuran. Penelitian yang menggabungkan metode kuantitatif dan kualitatif dalam satu atau serangkaian penelitian dikenal dengan metode campuran. Uji coba yang dilakukan di Kota Tangerang menunjukkan bahwa model ini dapat diimplementasikan secara efektif, dengan beberapa perbaikan dan penyesuaian yang terus dilakukan untuk memastikan tercapainya tujuan pembelajaran. Kesimpulannya, model proyek Dialektika Pancasila memiliki potensi yang besar dalam membentuk karakter generasi muda yang dibangun di atas prinsip-prinsip Pancasila.

Abstract

Millennial generation as a new generation that emerges as a pioneer of information technology development in the era of 4.0. They are called the millennial generation because they were born at the end of the 20th century (between 1990 and 2001). The millennial generation, living in the millennium era, is heavily influenced by lifestyles shaped by social media as a societal trend in the 21st century. Many potential social vulnerabilities will arise due to cultural and behavioral changes that occur in the millennium era. The widespread use of smartphones, internet access, and social media today enables quick and easy access to information, which has its benefits and advantages, but also impacts by facilitating access to negative content that affects behavior not in line with the culture and noble norms of the Indonesian nation. Character education, as a model of education that strengthens the understanding of Pancasila ideology, is essential in fortifying and equipping the millennial generation. With systematically implemented character education, it is hoped to maintain attitudes and behaviors so that they always preserve the customs, cultural heritage, and noble values of the Indonesian nation in facing the massive technological developments in the current millennium era.

Abstract

The young generation in Indonesia is confronted with specific challenges in navigating the adverse effects of globalisation, which have the potential to erode the values enshrined in Pancasila. This research project aims to investigate the efficacy of the Pancasila Dialectic Project model in the character formation of the younger generation, with a particular focus on the realisation of the values of Pancasila through innovative approaches. The methodology employed is a literature review, encompassing an examination of the theoretical foundations of the model and an analysis of empirical data derived from its implementation. The Pancasila Dialectic Project model employs a dialectic approach that engages the younger generation in open discussion through the use of a podcast format, which aligns with their digital lifestyle. The findings demonstrate that this model not only enhances comprehension of Pancasila but also fosters moral development through the cultivation of critical and collaborative dispositions. The results provide substantial evidence that a dialectical approach can be an efficacious strategy in fortifying the values of Pancasila among the younger generation, as well as promoting constructive discourse on national identity in the contemporary global context.
