Abstract

I Pusdokkes Polri. I Pusdokkes Polri The level of pain felt by mothers after caesarean section surgery is still very high due to the effect of the incision in the mother's abdomen, which interferes with comfort and limited mobility. To overcome this, researchers provided non-pharmacological measures in the form of complementary techniques using endorphin massage to help reduce pain. The aim of this study was to determine the effect of endorphin massage on pain levels in mothers after caesarean section at Bhayangkara TK Hospital. I Police Health Center. The research used a quasi-experiment with 2 groups, namely intervention and control. Sampling used a purposive sampling technique of 40 respondents. The research instrument used the NRS pain scale observation sheet and endorphin massage SOP sheet. The analysis used the Wilcoxon test and the Mann Whitney test. Research results: There is an influence of endorphin massage on the level of pain in mothers after caesarean section with (p value 0.000). There is a difference in the results of test 2 in the intervention and control groups with the difference value of the reduction in pain levels being more 15.05 and the result (p value 0.000). For test 1 there is a difference value in the reduction of pain levels of only 3.15 and the result (p value 0.331). In conclusion, there is an influence of endorphin massage on pain levels and there is a difference in the intervention group using endorphin massage, namely the level of pain is lower compared to those who did not receive endorphin massage in mothers after caesarean section at Bhayangkara Hospital Tk.I Pusdokkes Polri

Medical records from the Maternal and Child Health (KIA) book and questionnaires. Data analysis using the Chi Square test. Results: The results of this study showed that there was a significant relationship between nutritional status p value=0.017, history of preeclampsia p value=0.001, diabetes p value=0.013, knowledge p value = 0.009 with the incidence of preeclampsia while multiple pregnancies had no relationship with the incidence of preeclampsia p value=1. Conclusion: There is a significant relationship between nutritional status, history of preeclampsia, diabetes, and knowledge with the incidence of preeclampsia while multiple pregnancies are not related to the incidence of preeclampsia in pregnant women in the Working Area of the Batujaya Health Center, Karawang Regency in 2024.
