Abstract

The wokbolic antenna is used to capture the 2.4 GHz wireless LAN signal. The reflector is made of a frying pan. Focus on using a foil-lined paralon pipe. At the focus is given a USB adapter to capture the signal reflected by the reflector. To see the feasibility of a tool needs to be compared with equipment that has a standard data sheet. So a research was conducted by comparing the capture power of the wokbolic antenna with a directional parabolic antenna. The research method used is a real experimental method, namely an experimental signal strength measurement of both antennas at the same location, altitude under LOS conditions. From the results of experiments conducted at five distances: at a radius of 50 meters, 73 meters, 120 meters, 150 meters, and 290 meters. The farther the capture distance, the smaller the received signal, this happens to both antennas. After the data is obtained in the form of signal strength, then the antenna gain is calculated. The results of the antenna gain calculation show the difference between the gain of the wokbolic antenna and the directional satellite dish. To see if the difference in antenna gain is significant, it is analyzed by t-test. From the t test, it turns out that t count is greater than t table, it can be concluded that the difference in antenna gain is not significant.

Abstract

Pokok permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah hadirnya e-book digital apakah dapat meningkatkan minat baca pemustaka. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana pemanfaatan aplikasi, tingkat minat baca dan kendala serta solusinya. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data dimulai dari reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Penjamin keabsahan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan triangulasi sumber dan tiangulasi teknik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa; 1) Pemanfaatan aplikasi e-book solok membaca sudah dilakukan dengan baik, pemanfaatannya sangat besar dapat dirasakan bagi penggunanya yang memberikan respon positif dan memberikan kemudahan dalam membaca dengan koleksinya sudah mencerminkan kebutuhan penggunanya. Didukung dengan data koleksi yang sering dibaca seperti; koleksi pustaka anak sebanyak 325 orang yang membaca, agama sebanyak 232 orang dan novel 212 orang. 2) Tingkat minat baca terhadap aplikasi e-book solok membaca masih rendah. Dilihat dari data anggota aktif berjumlah 188 orang, pengguna tahun 2022 rata-rata 82 orang/bulan dan rata-rata 3 orang/hari, di tahun 2023 sampai Oktober rata-rata 21 orang/bulan dan rata-rata 1 orang/hari. Jika dibandingkan jumlah penduduk Kota Solok menurut survei penelitian di Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) Kota Solok di tahun 2023 sebanyak 778.420 jiwa. 3) Kendala pada jaringan internet, pembatas halaman buku tidak ada dan koleksi buku digital sedikit dengan jumlah 476 koleksi sedangkan untuk eksemplarnya berjumlah 1.152 koleksi. Solusinya dengan menstabilkan jaringan internet, mengupdate aplikasi dan me-request buku pada bagian permintaan penambahan koleksi yang belum tersedia di aplikasi.

Abstract

This community service program discusses strengthening religious moderation in the Payakumbuh City Pioneer Youth (P2KP) community through a digital preaching approach. This activity aims to improve youth understanding of the concept of religious moderation and their technical skills in preaching through digital platforms. As agents of change, Payakumbuh City Pioneer Youth are expected to be examples of tolerance and peace in society by implementing digital methods in delivering moderate religious messages. The method used in this program is Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD), which involves five stages: discovery, dream, design, define, and destiny. Each stage is focused on exploring potential and overcoming internal and external challenges faced by this community in spreading religious moderation-based preaching. This program is implemented with support from various parties, including the Payakumbuh City Interfaith Harmony Forum (FKUB), and uses various social media as a preaching tool. The results of the activity show an increase in understanding of religious moderation and an increase in technical skills in creating digital content. With this program, it is hoped that the younger generation can play an active role in creating a more inclusive society that respects diversity.

Abstract

This research explores how digital da’wah can serve as an effective means of fostering religious moderation within Payakumbuh City Pioneer Youth (P2KP). Applying the Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) model, this project aimed to enhance both the understanding of religious moderation and technical capabilities among youth members. By working with the Interfaith Harmony Forum (FKUB) in Payakumbuh and utilizing social media platforms, participants learned to communicate balanced religious messages that advocate tolerance, inclusivity, and peace. Evaluation results indicate that the program successfully improved participants’ understanding of religious moderation and digital skills. This initiative presents a model for leveraging digital spaces to cultivate inclusivity, empowering youth to play an active role in a harmonious and diverse society.

Abstract

This research was conducted to obtain information about the effectiveness of using the SLIMS-based library automation system by librarians at the Tanah Datar District Public Library and to identify the obstacles encountered in its use. In this study, descriptive research was combined with a qualitative approach using the SLIMS-based library automation system by librarians at the Tanah Datar District Public Library and to identify the obstacles encountered in its use. In this study, descriptive research was combined with a qualitative approach. Based on research findings, the effectiveness of using the SLIMS-based library automation system at the Tanah Datar District Public Library in various forms of library activities includes the procurement and processing of library materials, fast circulation processes, and librarian satisfaction with the use of the SLIMS-based library automation system. Based on indicators measuring the effectiveness of implementing the SLIMS-based library automation system, such as data security, time, accuracy, relevance, variety of reports, physical comfort, information quality, and information technology, it is proven that, after using the SLIMS-based library automation system, library management and services to users as a whole run more effectively and efficiently.
