Abstract

Critical thinking skills are one of the 21st century skills that students must have to face the challenges of the 21st century. Critical thinking skills make students able to think logically, solve problems appropriately and make rational decisions. Measurement of the level of critical thinking skills of students needs to be done as a benchmark for teachers in honing students' critical thinking skills. This study aims to determine the critical thinking skills of students at SMAN 1 Lengayang. This type of research is descriptive research. The sample in this study were 71 students of class XI SMAN 1 Lengayang. The sampling technique is purposive sampling. The instrument used is a validated questionnaire. Data analysis was done by descriptive analysis. The results showed that the critical thinking skills of students in class XI MIPA at SMAN 1 Lengayang were still low. This can be seen from the percentage of critical thinking skills questionnaire scores of the lowest level (T1) as much as 41.5%, level 2 score (T2) 23.6%, level 3 score (T3) 15.8%, level 4 score (T4) 11%, and a score of level 5 (T5) which is the highest level of 8.5%.

Abstract

ROA is a description of a bank's ability to generate profits. Increasing the ROA of a bank is very important for investors' interests because it can influence investors' confidence in continuing to invest or save at the bank. ROA is influenced by financing and the rate of return on the financing itself, therefore banks must always pay attention to providing financing so as not to increase the amount of non-performing financing (NPF) which can affect ROA. This research aims to determine the effect of murabahah financing on profitability with non-performing financing (NPF) as an intervening variable at BTPN Syariah bank. This research uses quantitative research with secondary data obtained from quarterly financial reports published on the BTPN Syariah bank website for the 2015-2022 period. This research used a saturated sampling technique with predetermined criteria resulting in 32 samples with an observation period of 8 years. The data analysis technique uses path analysis with SPSS 20 tools. The results of this research data analysis prove that murabahah financing has a significant effect on NPF, murabahah financing has a significant effect on ROA, NPF has no effect on ROA, NPF is unable to mediate the effect of murabahah financing on ROA.

Abstract

Background: Clean water is a basic human need to fulfill daily life, such as drinking, cooking and sanitation needs. One of the important parameters in monitoring river water quality is nitrate. Increasing nitrate concentrations in river water can cause serious impacts, including the risk of water pollution and eutrophication which can harm river ecosystems. The purpose of this study is to analyze the risk level of nitrate in Cisangkuy and Ciwidey river water in Bandung City. Methods: This research utilizes secondary data and applies descriptive research methods. The data source comes from monitoring the water quality of the Cisangkuy and Ciwidey rivers in Bandung in February, June and October 2022, which was obtained from DLHK Prov. West Java, 2022. Data processing is carried out through risk analysis by calculating intake (ink). Results: The results of univariate analysis of the average nitrate content in Cisangkuy and Ciwidey River water amounted to 2.66 mg/l. While the results of the calculation of the risk level (Risk Quotient, RQ) is less than 1, this means that the nitrate content in the Cisangkuy and Ciwidey River water is not at risk for exposure in the next 30 years. Conclusion: The nitrate content in Cisangkuy and Ciwidey River water is not at risk for the next 30 years of exposure because the RQ value is less than 1.

Abstract

This research was conducted to examine how minimum wage levels, the Human Development Index (HDI), and population growth contribute to changes in the open unemployment rate in Banten Province during 2010–2024. A quantitative framework was applied by utilizing secondary time-series data sourced from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS). The study employed multiple linear regression analysis supported by classical assumption tests, along with hypothesis evaluation through t-tests, F-tests, and the coefficient of determination (R²). The findings reveal that, individually, minimum wage does not demonstrate a statistically significant relationship with open unemployment. In contrast, HDI shows a significant inverse relationship, while population growth is proven to significantly increase unemployment levels. When assessed collectively, all independent variables significantly influence the open unemployment rate. The model’s R-Squared value of 0.751215 suggests that 75.12% of fluctuations in unemployment are accounted for by the variables included in the model, whereas the remaining proportion is associated with external factors beyond this research scope. These results emphasize that labor quality improvement and population dynamics are key elements affecting unemployment, highlighting the importance of policy strategies that extend beyond wage regulation toward strengthening workforce capacity and expanding employment opportunities.
