Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan soal matematika PISA-Like berkonteks kearifan lokal dan sains yang berkualitas berdasarkan validitas isi, reliabilitas, dan tingkat kesukaran sesuai level-level PISA. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian desain dengan tiga tahapan yakni preliminary research, pengembangan, dan evaluasi semi sumatif. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa MTs Negeri 3 Mataram yang berumur di bawah 15 tahun dan berdomisili asli suku sasak. Instrumen penelitian meliputi lembar validasi dan tes matematika PISA-Like berkonteks kearifan lokal dan sains. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis secara kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 8 soal matematika PISA-Like berkonteks kearifan lokal dan sains yang sudah dikembangkan valid, reliabel dan tingkat kesukarannya sesuai level-level PISA 2022. Nilai kevalidan yang diperoleh sebesar 80% yang tergolong validitas tinggi, nilai reliabilitas sebesar 0,94 yang tergolong reliabilitas sangat tinggi, dan tingkat kesukaran soal matematika PISA-Like berkonteks kearifan lokal dan sains sudah memuat level 1 hingga level 6 yang terdiri atas dua soal termasuk level 1 (soal 3 dan soal 6), satu soal termasuk level 2 (soal 2), dua soal termasuk level 3 (soal 1 dan soal 7), satu soal termasuk level 4 (soal 5), satu soal termasuk level 5 (soal 8), dan satu soal termasuk level 6 (soal 4).

Abstract

Cassava leaves (Manihot esculenta Crantz) are known to contain various bioactive compounds such as flavonoids, tannins, saponins, and alkaloids. This study aimed to compare the effectiveness of three extraction methods maceration, digestion, and Soxhlet extraction in producing stock solutions of cassava leaf extract. A total of 5 grams of cassava leaf simplicia was extracted using methanol 96% (maceration), distilled water (digestion), and methanol 99.9% (Soxhlet). The extract yield was measured by evaporating 1 mL of filtrate and weighing the residue. The results showed that the Soxhlet method produced the highest concentration of 0.085%, followed by digestion (0.0132%) and maceration (0.0106%). Soxhlet extraction was more effective due to its continuous solvent circulation at elevated temperatures and higher solvent volume, resulting in a more efficient extraction of active compounds from the cassava leaves.

Abstract

This community engagement program addressed the limited value-added utilization of moringa in Triharjo Village, Merbau Mataram Subdistrict, South Lampung Regency, Lampung Province, by providing practical training on producing moringa-based solid bath soap as a household product with economic potential. The program aimed to improve participants’ knowledge and hands-on competence in safe soap-making, introduce a simple standardized procedure, and strengthen readiness for small-scale entrepreneurship. The activity began with coordination and needs identification with local stakeholders, followed by an interactive session on ingredients, safety, and basic formulation principles, and a guided workshop to produce solid soap using moringa powder. Post-training assistance was provided during molding, cutting, curing, and simple packaging. Evaluation used pre-activity and post-activity knowledge tests (30 participants), participant feedback, and basic product observations including appearance, aroma, texture, and acidity level after curing. Results indicated substantial knowledge improvement, with average correctness increasing from 51.1 percent to 86.7 percent, alongside increased participant confidence to reproduce the process independently. The training also resulted in feasible soap bar prototypes with homogeneous appearance and acceptable sensory characteristics for household use. In conclusion, moringa-based solid soap training effectively strengthened community capacity and produced a feasible prototype product, supporting follow-up mentoring toward consistent quality, improved packaging, and sustainable community-based microenterprise development.

Abstract

Latar Belakang: Penelitian ini menargetkan penyelesaian masalah rendahnya motivasi dan pemahaman materi IPAS yang dipicu oleh minimnya variasi media pembelajaran di luar buku paket. Urgensi penelitian ini disandarkan pada tuntutan akan ketersediaan media pembelajaran yang atraktif, interaktif, serta relevan dengan karakteristik perkembangan siswa sekolah dasar. Tujuan: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan media pembelajaran flipbook materi pancaindra bagian mata bagi siswa kelas IV Sekolah Dasar dan mengetahui tingkat kevalidan, kepraktisan, dan keefektifannya. Metode: Penelitian menggunakan metode R&D model ADDIE. Hasil: Validasi ahli materi memperoleh persentase 84% dan ahli media 85% dengan kategori sangat valid. Kepraktisan media memperoleh respons 87,5% dari guru, serta 90% dan 91% dari siswa dengan kategori sangat praktis. Keefektifan media dibuktikan melalui peningkatan hasil belajar, dengan ketuntasan klasikal mencapai 87,5% pada uji terbatas dan 100% pada uji luas. Kesimpulan: Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran flipbook materi pancaindra bagian mata sangat layak, praktis, dan efektif diaplikasikan dalam pembelajaran IPAS kelas IV Sekolah Dasar.
