Abstract

This article examines the preacher's professionalism in the dynamics of social change in the Dumai Muballigh (Muslim Preacher)Association (PMD). The development of information technology is one of the causes of social changes that occur and currently shows the complexity of the problems faced by the people and preachers. Da'wah as a call, invitation, and appeal is expected to be transformed to be relevant to any changes that occur. This requires professional preachers to be able to become agents of change. In preaching, the development of preaching resources is emphasized on various aspects such as material, mental, skills, knowledge, and psychic. The results showed that the effort to create professional preachers in the PMD is doing human resource development through muzakarah and preaching guidance to strengthen science and skills, training and use of IT (Information Technology) as a form of transformation, conducting preaching certification as an effort to assess and qualify the quality of preachers' abilities, improving education levels through further education cooperation agreements among preachers and companies, universities and government, and the development of contemporary preaching material through the study of books, and hadith.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi digital telah mendorong lembaga penyiaran publik untuk melakukan berbagai penyesuaian dalam sistem produksinya agar tetap relevan di tengah perubahan pola konsumsi media masyarakat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis bagaimana RRI Pekanbaru melakukan transformasi sistem produksi siaran serta memahami perubahan pola konsumsi audiensnya di era digital. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan metode wawancara mendalam terkait proses produksi siaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa RRI Pekanbaru telah mengalami transformasi signifikan dari sistem produksi berbasis analog menuju digital, melalui penerapan perangkat siaran berbasis komputer, integrasi konten lintas platform, serta pemanfaatan aplikasi RRI Digital dan media sosial sebagai sarana distribusi. Perubahan tersebut juga berpengaruh terhadap strategi penyusunan program siaran yang kini lebih interaktif, fleksibel, dan berorientasi pada kebutuhan audiens digital. Di sisi lain, pola konsumsi pendengar mengalami pergeseran dari mendengarkan radio secara konvensional menuju akses konten melalui gawai dan platform daring, yang mendorong lembaga untuk terus berinovasi agar tidak kehilangan relevansi. Penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa transformasi sistem produksi dan pola konsumsi di RRI Pekanbaru merupakan bentuk adaptasi strategis terhadap dinamika ekosistem media digital, sekaligus upaya menjaga fungsi layanan publik di era konvergensi media

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis adaptasi Tribun Pekanbaru dalam menghadapi konvergensi media melalui inovasi konten dan pemanfaatan teknologi digital. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa Tribun Pekanbaru berhasil mengalihkan fokus kerjanya ke digital melalui penggunaan Content Management System (CMS), berbasis data, dan distribusi konten lintas platform. Inovasi berupa video pendek, video storytelling meningkatkan jangkauan serta keterlibatan audiens secara signifikan. Selain itu, penggunaan teknologi digital berkonstribusi pada peningkatan produktivitas redaksi dan efesiensi penerbitan beritan. Namun, tantangan seperti keterbatasan literasi digital jurnalis dan tekanan algoritma media sosial tetap menjadi hambatan. Secara keseluruhan, adaptasi ini menunjukkan bahwa Tribun Pekanbaru mampu mempertahankan relevansi sebagai media lokal di era digital.

Abstract

The development of digital media has created new opportunities for the dissemination of Islamic da'wah, including through podcasts that are increasingly popular among young people. This study aims to analyze digital da'wah strategies and the construction of realistic hijrah narratives in the Kadam Siddik Podcast episode Strategi Hijrah Paling Realistis (Fawaid #21). This research employs a descriptive qualitative approach with data collected through observation and documentation of podcast content. Data analysis was conducted using the Miles, Huberman, and Saldana interactive model, supported by narrative analysis and theory triangulation. The findings reveal that the Kadam Siddik Podcast constructs a realistic hijrah narrative through four integrated strategies: social environment improvement, spiritual routine formation, prayer as the foundation of istiqamah, and contextual narrative relevance to the needs of young people. These four strategies form a holistic self-transformation framework by simultaneously addressing social, behavioral, spiritual, and communicative dimensions. This narrative construction is analytically distinct from the dominant representation of instant hijrah on visual-based social media. This study concludes that podcasts serve as an effective digital da'wah medium for presenting a humanistic and contextual hijrah narrative capable of promoting sustainable spiritual transformation among the younger generation in the digital era.

Abstract

This article intends to discuss the existence of a new innovation initiated by the Pekanbaru City government, namely the Madani Smart Card product. The Madani Smart Card is one of the innovations of the Smart City program which is predicted to be a solution to urban community problems. This program has been proclaimed by the Pekanbaru City Government since 2017. The Madani Smart Card is an innovation of the Pekanbaru City government which is regulated in Law No. 23 of 2014 concerning Regional Government chapter XXI entitled Regional innovation, articles 386-390. The law states that local governments must carry out innovations that support regional development. This program is believed to be able to solve various urban problems such as public services, congestion, garbage accumulation, and citizen safety. This article is presented to answer problems that occur in the people of Pekanbaru City regarding the use of the Madani Smart Card. This study uses qualitative methods with interview data collection techniques, observation and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the Smart Card Madani program innovation helps the government in providing technology-based public services such as changing cash into electronic money, as a means of non-cash transactions at educational institutions, airports, and supermarkets, as well as a tool for attendance for City Government Civil Servants Pekanbaru.
