Abstract

The result of observation and interview shows that the learning process in Nguyen Tat Thanh High School was going fun and everyday teacher used different method of learning, sometimes teacher also made a worksheet for students, but the power point presentation media that teacher used did not show the interaction between media, teacher and students. Also there were unnecessary pictures on the power point that could distract students focus and the colour combination was not suitable. This research aimed to develop an interactive multimedia and know its feasibility and effectiveness. This study had significance to develop an alternative instructional multimedia in an education game way so could increase students motivation and learning outcome. The design of this research was Research and Development with ADDIE model. The data of this research were obtained from validation result from media expert and instructional expert, students response at small scale test, post test result and students response at large scale test. The score of validation result for the media expert was 96 categorized as very feasible and for the instructional expert was 62 categorized as feasible. Small scale test result showed that students gave very good response with 69.97 score. Students post test gave effective result with classical completeness 61.76% and very good response with 68.5 score. It can be concluded that the elements periodic table interactive multimedia was feasible and effective to be used in learning process, and have very good response from the students as users.DOI: https://doi.org/10.24071/ijiet.2018.020101

Abstract

 The effects of temperature, time of reaction, and the reactants mole ratio on the cyclization-acetylation of (R)-(+)-citronellal with FeCl3/acetic anhydride were studied.  Isopulegyl acetate (IPA) and neoisopulegyl acetate (NIPA) were obtained as the main products at room temperature (mole ratio of citronellal: acetic anhydride: FeCl3 = 6:12:1). Both products are relatively fixed after the 30th minute. The average concentration of IPA at 30-180 minutes was 44.71%, while the average concentration of NIPA was 28.47%. Increasing temperature (80 oC) and the amount of acetic anhydride (mol ratio 2:6:1) gave p-cymene (17.53%) and citronellyl acetate (11.31%). Autoredoks reaction on the transformation of citronellal into p-cymene and citronellyl acetate was studied with the carbon oxidation number concept. Abstract

Latar belakang: Kontrasepsi hormonal dibagi dalam dua jenis suntikan yaitu Depomedroksiprogesteron Asetat (DMPA) yang diberikan setiap 3 (tiga) bulan dan DepoNoretisteron Enantat (Depo Noristerat) yang diberikan setiap 1 (satu) bulan dengan cara disuntik intramuscular. Masing - masing kontrasepsi hormonal memiliki keuntungan dan kerugian yang harus disesuaikan dengan penggunanya.Efek samping dari penggunaan kontrasepsi suntik antara lain gangguan haid, permasalahan berat badan, sakit kepala, hipertensi dan stroke. Tujuan: penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan kejadian hipertensi, peningkatan berat badan, dan perubahan pola menstruasi dengan lama penggunaan suntik (DMPA) pada wanita usia subur di Desa Betek Kecamatan Jati Kabupaten Blora. Metode : Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian diskriptif korelasi dengan  metode pendekatan cross sectional. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah semua wanita usia subur yang menggunakan kontrasepsi hormonal suntik di Desa Betek Kecamatan Jati Kabupaten Blora dan sampel yang diambil adalah seluruh populasi yaitu berjumlah 66 orang. Variabel yang dikaji dalam penelitian ini adalah kejadianhipertensi, peningkatan berat badan, perubahan pola menstruasi dan lama penggunaan kontrasepsi suntik DMPA. Analisa data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah dengan menggunakan analisis statistik Chi Square.Hasil : Berdasarkan hasil analisis statistik diperoleh sebagianbesar responden mengalami kejadian hipertensi yaitu sebanyak 37 orang (56,1%), yang mengalami peningkatan berat badan tinggi yaitu sebanyak 28 orang (42,4%), yang mengalami gangguan pola menstruasi yaitu sebanyak 40 orang (60,6%), dan yang menggunakan KB suntik selama 2-5 tahun yaitu sebanyak 30 orang (45,5%). Ada hubungan yang signifikan antara kejadianhipertensidenganlama penggunaankontrasepsi suntik DMPA, dengan nilai p-value 0,000<α(0,05), Ada hubungan yang signifikan antara peningkatanberatbadandenganlamapenggunaankontrasepsisuntik DMPA, dengan nilai p-value 0,013<α(0,05), Ada hubungan yang signifikan antara perubahan pola menstruasi denganlama penggunaan kontrasepsisuntik DMPA, dengan nilai p-value 0,002<α(0,05).Kesimpulan dan saran: Berdasarkan hasil analisis statistik tersebut makadiharapkan masyarakat atau calon akseptor sebelum memilih alat kontrasepsi hendaknya menggali informasi terlebih dahulu tentang semua alat kontrasepsi dan efek sampingnya, terutama pada akseptor yang masih dalam usia  reproduksi disarankan menggunakan kontrasepsi non hormonal karena untuk meminimalisirkan efek samping dari alat kontrasepsi.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the application of Problem-Based Learning methods to minimizing student’s misconception on determination of pH of acidbasemixture solution. The populations of this study were XI MIPA 4, 5, and 6SMA N 1 Juwana. The sampling technique used is Purposive Random Sampling.Samples are treated differently and then followed by postest. The statistical testsused are normality test, two variance equations, hypothesis, and misconceptionlevel analysis. Average grade of experimental class postest is 75.77 and controlclass is 72.5. In the hypothesis test t292 test (2.44)> t (1.99) which means theaverage cognitive learning outcomes of the experimental class is better than thecontrol class. In the analysis of misconception level, the result of the experimental class postest experienced misconception of level 1 is 4.1% and level 2 is 3%, while the control class experienced misconception of level 1 is 17.5% and level 2 is 3.4%. Based on the results of the research can be concluded that the application of experiment-based learning problem able to minimize student misconception on salt hydrolysis and buffer solution. Abstract

Reaction kinetic of acetylation-cyclization (R)- (+)-citronellal with acetic acid anhydride which catalyzed Zn2+-zeolite (Zn2+-Za) was analyzed by Langmuir- Hinshelwood Models. (R)-(+)-citronellal isolated from lemongrass oil with fractionation distillation reduced pressure and analyzed anantiomer ratio with GC chiral column β- DEX 225. Catalyst preparation of Zn2+-Za conducted by acid activation on natural zeolite Malang 100 mesh using 1% HF and 6 M HCl, then soaked on 0,1 M NH4Cl. Calcination was done at 450oC during 1 hour with N2 flow to achieved H-natural zeolite (HZa). Cation exchange H-Za with 0,1 M ZnCl2 conducted to obtain Zn2+-natural zeolit (Zn2+-Za). Reactions of Cyclization-acetylation (R )-(+)- citronellal using a catalyst of Zn2+-Za was done by varying molar ratio of (R )-(+)- citronellal with acetic acid anhydride, namely 0.25, 0.5, 1.0; 1 , 25; 1.5. During the reaction, into system, samples were taken each 1 mL of reaction with duration 10, 20, 30, 60, 120, 180 minutes. Reaction product was extracted with n-hexana. Structure elucidation was done by GC-MS, FTIR spectrophotometer, and 1H-NMR spectrometer. The result showed a greater molar ratio (R)-(+)-citronellal against quantity of acetic acid anhydride acetic, pulegil total was decline. Acetylation-cyclization catalyzed with Zn2+-Za on duration of 30 minutes and 80°C has k of 30.964 to 47.619 mmol (minute.gram catalyst)-1 and KSIT/KAA of 7.09.

Abstract

The rate of exposure to X-ray radiation on the radiation shielding wall at the Laboratory 3 of Radiology Study Program Purwokerto Diploma Three Program has been analyzed, to find out the difference in the effectiveness of the radiation shielding wall between a 10 cm thick Lead (2 mm) coated partition and a 28 cm thick stucco brick wall. Measurements were made using a radiation source, namely a mobile unit X-ray machine with a Fluke survey meter radiation measuring instrument. Measurement of the rate of exposure to X-ray radiation is carried out by adjusting the distance of the radiation source with the radiation shield wall from 100 cm, 150 cm and 200 cm and taken from 5 measurement points that represent the radiation shield wall. The measurement results show that measurement point C produces the highest radiation exposure rate and measurement point A produces the lowest radiation exposure rate for Do and D. There is a radiation exposure rate of more than 1 μSv/Hr after passing through a 10 cm thick Lead-coated partition wall (2 mm) at a distance of 100 cm to 150 cm. Radiation shielding walls of walls covered with stucco bricks with a thickness of 28 cm were more effective than partitions covered with lead (2 mm) with a thickness of 10 cm. It is necessary to pay attention to aspects of radiation protection, the use of a mobile unit X-ray machine in placing the X-ray tube in the direction of the X-ray tube and, the radiation source distance of at least 2 meters from the lead-coated partition radiation wall.
