Abstract

Improving the Learning Quality of Math Teachers through the Academic Supervision with Technique of Class Observation. This study aims to find out directly the problems of mathematics teachers and also provides advice, information, and motivation to improve the quality of teaching and learning process, followed by the relevant training based on the problems found and faced by math teachers. This study is a classroom action research using 2 cycles. The results showed that academic supervision with classroom observation techniques can improve the quality of mathematics teacher learning in SMPN 3 Kertosono Nganjuk academic year 2015/2016.

Abstract

Bangoan sub-village, Kedunglukan Village, Candi Sidoarjo District, is a village with potential natural resources in ponds and goat farms and a hardworking, tenacious and creative community. However, the community has limitations in business due to the absence of lighting on public roads, which results in the lack of investors willing to invest in a company, limited working hours or business operations, potential for crime, frequent minor accidents, limited health services such as childbirth, etc. Through this community service program, Public Street Lighting (PJU) was installed. The method is carried out by conducting surveys and coordinating with village officials and PLN, determining installation points, installation, maintenance training, and entrepreneurship training. With the installation of these lightings, the community is very enthusiastic about developing a side business at night after completing their routine at work, such as making petis, shrimp paste, smoking fish, packaging, etc. In addition, both general and religious educational activities are also seen to be active with learning to recite the Koran after sunset, group study, and night patrols so that overall, it can improve the quality of the people Kedungluk village.Keywords: training, lights, lighting

Abstract

Distros have been known by the general publicespecially millennial who are fond of the brandor brand image of a product. The number ofvery tight competition makes Lollypop ShopSurabaya as one of the distributions that are inneed of designing the right marketing strategy.The purpose of this study was to determine theeffect of 4P marketing mix variables consistingof products, price, place and promotion ofpurchasing decisions and customer loyalty asa consideration of business owners indetermining marketing strategies. Dataanalysis was performed using the StructuralEquation Modeling (SEM) method whichinvolved 120 respondents obtained from thepurposive sampling method. The results of theanalysis show that product and promotionvariables have a positive and significant effecton purchasing decisions. Price and placevariables have a positive but not significanteffect on product purchasing decisions.Product variable is the variable that mostinfluences the purchasing decision of LollypopShop Surabaya products with product variantsas the indicators most desired by consumers.

Abstract

Desa Banjar Kemuning, sebagai desa nelayan yang sangat berpotensi akan hasil laut dan juga tambak sebetulnya memiliki peluang besar untuk dapat mensejahterakan warganya. Desa yang terletak di kecamatan Sedati Kabupaten Sidoarjo Jawa Timur ini memiliki kondisi geografis yang cukup dekat dengan laut Dengan jumlah penduduk didesa Banjar Kemuning adalah 1.749 orang, memiliki mata pencaharian sebagai nelayan dan pengelola tambak yang ada disekitar desa. Dari data lapangan diperoleh jumlah penduduk miskin yang terdata adalah sebanyak 420 jiwa. Dengan latar belakang permasalahan dan geografis inilah, lokasi desa Banjar Kemuning menjadi lokasi yang tepat untuk melaksanakan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat yang akan dilakukan oleh Jurusan Teknik industri ITATS.Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilakukan di Desa Banjar Kemuning Sedati Sidoarjo. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah pendampingan dan pelatihan. Dalam pelaksanaannya kegiatan pendampingan pengabdian dibagi dalam empat kegiatan utama, yaitu kerja bakti, perbaikan sarana informasi, pelatihan komputer, serta perbaikan fasilitas sekolah. Kerja bakti dilakukan dengan melibatkan warga sekitar untuk membersihkan masjid yang merupakan tempat ibadah warga Ds. Banjar Kemuning, Sedati Sidoarjo. Perbaikan sarana informasi dilakukan dengan membuat mading sebagai salah satu sarana penyampaian informasi kepada warga serta pembuatan dan pemasangan plakat nama jalan untuk mempermudah pengguna jalan dalam menemukan lokasi yang diinginkan. Sedangkan pada lingkungan sekolah sendiri dilakukan beberapa perbaikan yaitu pada area perpustakaan dengan menambah jumlah rak buku serta pada lab komputer yaitu dengan memperbaiki komputer sebagai sarana belajar siswa. Selain itu, siswa juga dibekali dengan pelatihan komputer yang cukup sebagai bekal dalam menghadapi perkembangan teknologi yang semakin pesat.

Abstract

Nowadays, business competition is getting tougher, so companies are required to make good strategies and in accordance with the wishes of the company, so that companies can still survive. A good company is a company that wants its sustainable existence and get the best position in the market rather than just survive. Therefore, companies are not only trying to get new customers but also trying hard to retain the customers they have got. One of the growing industries is the frozen food industry. Currently the frozen food industry or Frozen Food is innovating by presenting several product variants that are in accordance with market desires. The results of this study Naisha Frozen Food market segments for teenagers, namely between 17-38 years old with middle and down social class. Moreover today, business competition is getting tougher, so companies are required to make good strategies and in accordance with the wishes of the company, so that companies can still survive. A good company is a company that wants its life to be sustainable and get the best position in the market rather than just surviving. Therefore, companies are not only trying to get new customers but also trying hard to retain the customers they have got. One of the growing industries is the frozen food industry. Currently, the frozen food industry is innovating by presenting several product variants that are in line with market demands. Therefore, this research is expected to provide benefits to Naisha Frozen Food in terms of an overview of business development and provide improvements towards increasing turnover or income in the future. Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh masalah yang terjadi dalam pembelajaran di kelas IV SD Negeri Kemandungan 3 Kota Tegal. Pembelajaran selama ini hanya berpusat pada guru (teacher centered), sehingga hasil belajar tidak sesuai harapan. Rumusan masalah diuraikan sebagai berikut: Bagaimana penerapan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas IV SD Negeri Kemandungan 3 Kota Tegal. Langkah penelitian disesuaikan dengan tahapan pelaksanaan penelitian PTK yang meliputi perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi dan refleksi, Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi dengan lembar pengamatan dan penilaian kinerja. Teknik analisis data deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian pada siklus 1 diperoleh data hasil belajar siswa mencapai 36% dari jumlah siswa. Hasil penelitian siklus 2, proses belajar telah mengalami peningkatan dan diperoleh data 72% siswa telah menunjukkan hasil belajarnya. Peningkatan memuaskan terjadi pada siklus 3 yang menunjukkan data 96% siswa telah memenuhi KKM dalam mengikuti kegiatan pembelajaran. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning secara bertahap dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas IV SD Negeri Kemandungan 3 Kota Tegal. Dari hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning yang diterapkan dengan baik dapat meningkatkan Hasil belajar siswa kelas IV SD Negeri Kemandungan 3 Kota Tegal.

Abstract

Carpal Tunnel Syndrome (CTS) is a neurological disorder on upper extremities in which the medianus nerve is impinged. Carpal tunnel entrapment can be caused by multiple causes. One of the most common cause is job-related activities of repeated flexion and extension of wrist such as in typing activity. This study aimed to describe the incidence of CTS in university administrative employees. This was a cross-sectional study conducted at Krida Wacana University in 2019. Twenty-nine respondents were included in the study by a purposive sampling. Subjects filled out questionnaires describing troubling symptoms, age, gender, typing duration per day, work period, wrist position, and Phalen’s test to assess CTS incidence. Data were analysed with SPSS 23 software. Incidence risk for CTS was found in respondents from various age groups (40-60 years old), with 11 (37.9%) respondents were CTS-risk, and 16 respondents were CTS-positive. Eighteen respondents with typing duration of > 4 hours/day was found to be at risk for CTS. Of respondents group with odd wrist position, 16 (55.2%) of them were at risk to suffer CTS. The study concludes that the incidence of CTS in administrative employee increases with advancing age, working duration, and awkward hand position while working. Thus, education is required for the administrative employees about factors causing CTS risks.

Abstract

The Al-Washliyah organization is an Islamic organization that has an important role in preaching and developing Islamic teachings in Indonesia. The da'wah movement carried out by Al-Washliyah carries a vision and mission to spread Islamic teachings with a moderate, inclusive approach and prioritizing noble morals. The Al-Washliyah da'wah movement does not only focus on spreading religious knowledge, but also on strengthening social and community education, especially in introducing Islam that rahmatan lil-'alamin (mercy for all nature). This movement can be seen in various aspects, starting from teaching at the madrasa level, developing the community through social activities, to involving members in religious organizations. Al-Washliyah also plays a role in encouraging society to maintain harmony between people, respect differences, and strengthen the ties of Muslim brotherhood. In carrying out da'wah, Al-Washliyah adopts an approach that combines an understanding of religious knowledge based on the Al-Qur'an and Hadith, as well as the application of social values that are relevant to the needs of society. Da'wah Al-Washliyah focuses on forming good character, not only from a religious perspective but also from a social and moral perspective. Through a network of religious studies, seminars and other social activities, Al-Washliyah has succeeded in building a more organized and competitive community of believers. Thus, the da'wah movement carried out by Al-Washliyah is not just about spreading knowledge, but also creating more positive social change in people's lives.
