Abstract

Polluted air especially indoors can cause serious problems compared to outdoors. One of the most common pollutants found indoors is carbon monoxide (CO). CO that binds to blood will form carboxyhemoglobin (COHb) bonds, the main source of CO in a closed room comes from cigarette smoke. CO levels that will enter the body are greater in smokers than non-smokers, paris lilies can reduce CO levels. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between age, smoking intensity, nutritional status, CO in indoor cigarette smoke and COHb. This research method is quantitative, room CO is measured at 3 sampling points 2 times and blood collection is carried out 2 times as much as 0.05 ml. Respondents in this study were 7 men aged 33-50 years. Yield of CO 4 ppm. COHb has a decreasing value of 0.717%. The value of simple linear regression analysis of the relationship between smoking intensity and COHb with the addition of 5 paris lilies R2 = 0.6379 means that it has a moderate relationship.Keywords: COHb, age, smoking intensity, nutritional status, indoor cigarette smoke CO

Abstract

Kurangnya penerapan higiene sanitasi pada penjual di kantin Universitas “X” Lamongan maka perlu dilakukan observasi pada kantin Universitas “X” Lamongan. Sehingga dapat mempengaruhi faktor yang mempengaruhi penerapan higiene sanitasi di kampus Universitas “X” Lamongan. penelitian ini bersifat penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif. Desain yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah cross sectional. Data yang digunakan adalah data primer yang didapat melalui kuesioner dan observasi. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan Februari hingga Juni 2020 di 7 kantin Universitas “X” Lamongan. Pada penelitian ini karakteristik responden seperti umur, jenis kelamin dan tingkat pendidikan tidak mempengaruhi penerapan higiene sanitasi di kantin Universitas “X” Lamongan. Berbeda dengan tingkat pengetahuan dan kondisi lingkungan kantin Universitas “X” Lamongan yang dapat mempengaruhi penerapan higiene sanitasi di kantin Universitas “X” Lamongan. Pengembangan penelitian selanjutnya di tambahkan uji makanan dan minuman yang dijual di kantin Universitas “X” Lamongan sehingga dapat mengetahui makanan dan minuman terkontaminasi atau tidak. Kata Kunci: Higiene Sanitasi, Kualitas Higiene Sanitasi, Faktor Penjamah Makanan

Abstract

Pembuangan limbah cair tahu ke lingkungan tanpa dilakukan pengolahan menyebabkan perubahan lingkungan secara fisik, kimia dan biologis yang dapat menunggu keseimbangan serta mencemari lingkungan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan atau efektivitas dan dosis optimum penurunan konsentrasi parameter BOD, COD, TSS dan kekeruhan dengan biokoagulan biji kelor (Moringa oleifera) dan biji asam jawa (Tamarindus indica). Variasi dosis koagulan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini, yaitu 0 g, 1 g, 3 g dan 5 g. Pengambilan sampel limbah cair pabrik tahu dilakukan di Pabrik APL Ngeblur Kedungpring Lamongan. Karakteristik awal limbah cair pabrik tahu menunjukkan konsentrasi BOD, COD, TSS dan kekeruhan yang belum memenuhi syarat baku mutu limbah cair pada Peraturan Menteri Lingkungan Hidup Nomor  5 Tahun 2014 sehingga perlu dilakukan pengolahan air limbah sebelum di buang ke badan air. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan pengadukan cepat selama 3 menit, pengadukan lambat selama 15 menit menggunakan magnetic stirrer. Hasil penelitian dianalisis secara deskriptif dengan hasil penurunan sebesar 5 gram mampu menurunkan >50% nilai BOD 87% dan COD 53%, serta menurunkan <50% nilai TSS dan kekeruhan pada limbah cair industri tahu dari biokoagulan biji kelor (Moringa oleifera). Sedangkan dosis optimum penggunaan biokoagulan biji asam jawa (Tamarindus indica) sebesar 5 gram mampu menurunkan >50% nilai BOD 51% dan TSS 52%, serta menurunkan <50% nilai COD dan kekeruhan pada limbah cair pabrik tahu. Kata Kunci: Biokoagulan alami, koagulasi-flokulasi, limbah cair industri tahu.

Abstract

Sekaran Lamongan Village has a progressive business unit in developing the economic sector in the tourism sector, especially educational tourism, which was initiated by BUMDes Sekaran in 2021, namely Educational Tourism “Sekaran Edukasi Maggot (Semaggot)”, which is an educational tourism site for the integration of waste management cultivation with Maggot-Chicken-Lele cultivation. To manage and develop this educational tourism, the Lamongan Regency Tourism Office officially stipulates the Decree on the Establishment of the “Semaggot Tourism Awareness Group (Pokdarwis)”. However, the problems faced at this time are: the need to increase the production capacity of catfish farming, KUB chickens, BSF maggots requires more feed stock. So, it is necessary to add alternative feed from silk worms and requires efforts to market cultivation products based on digital marketing transformation. So, there is a need for training in silk worm cultivation which also utilizes organic waste processing into eco-enzyme as a medium for silk worm growth (green economy). In addition, there is a need for training on the creation and use of e-commerce accounts for members of Pokdarwis Semaggot so that they can expand the marketing network for cultivated products. From this training activity, the participants' level of understanding of the green economy training material increased by an average of 28% and 39% on the material of marketing digitization and the use of e-commerce. In addition, partners can also reduce the capacity of organic waste by 11% which is used as an eco-enzyme. With the addition of silk worm cultivation and the addition of catfish seedlings, the cultivation production capacity has increased by 34%. The net profit of product sales increased from 2022, 2023, 2024 respectively, including 6,784,300, 6,928,000, 7,567,800. Future plans include market research analysis, branding training, content development on social media and other digital platforms, as well as educational activities and events.
