Abstract

The concern of the nation that is experiencing crises in various aspects of life makes the role of education especially in schools questionable. However, it can not be assessed so because in realizing the purpose of education in addition to the role of the school there is also the role of family and society. Pringu Bululawang Malang is a village with a majority of the Moslem population, but they still have not done their duty as Moslem well. Along with the development of Islam in Pringu, this condition began to change marked by the emergence of awareness of carrying out obligations as Moslem. This development can be seen, among others, by the existence of various Islamic educational activities implemented to develop the character of Islamic teenagers there. Leaders and community leaders, as well as citizens of the community, seemed enthusiastic to support and develop the education of youth Islamic character there. The result of the research found that; (1) the community empowerment mapping strategy undertaken is area mapping, problems, potential, infrastructure suggestions, and character education; (2) community empowerment planning strategy that is carried out is the formation of the board, the formulation of the problem handling program, the exploration of empowerment potential, the utilization of village facilities and the house of the citizens, the inculcation of character education value; (3) management strategy undertaken is routine meetings, socialization of the program, making the community as a source of development, utilization of village facilities, the inculcation of character values through religious and social activities. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the role of the teacher and the supporting factors, inhibiting the role of the teacher at the RA Raudlatul Ulum school regarding the role of the teacher in the application of the ACM method to develop reading skills in group B2 students at RA RAudlatul Ulum Ganjaran Gondang Legi Malang. The type of research used in this study is qualitative using an action approach. The data collection techniques used are observation, interviews and documentation. The data were analyzed using data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing/verification. Checking the validity of the data is done by testing the credibility, transferability, dependability, and confirm ability, marking keyword ideas, studying keywords, writing down the specified model and the data that has been found. The results of this study indicate that the teacher's role in developing reading skills through the ACM method in children is in accordance with the child's attitude. In this case, it is easier for children to recognize various syllables, increase interest in reading, and be more enthusiastic in learning. Children are also very enthusiastic when reading activities through the ACM method in their learning activities.

Abstract

The application of the method of storytelling using contemporary puppet media is very effective in practicing vocabulary mastery in children. The purpose of this research is to describe the improvement of Indonesian vocabulary mastery through storytelling using contemporary puppet media in class A. Action Research by applying two cycles through the process of planning, implementing, observing and reflecting. Data collection techniques are done by interview, observation, and documentation. The results of the assessment and discussion carried out through Cycle I and Cycle II focused on activities to recognize Indonesian vocabulary about nouns, verbs, adjectives, and adverbs with the final results of the success indicator process 22,2% to 64.77%. This study experienced an increase between cycles with a percentage of 43.48% with a moderate category that manifested the success in the use of contemporary puppet media to provide stimulus to the mastery of children's language vocabulary by telling stories.

Abstract

Procurement of healthy food in schools aims to maintain health, especially in children's intelligence. There are foods that are sold without paying attention to the nutritional side. The purpose of this study was to describe the provision of healthy eating in terms of the nutritional content of children in a balanced manner. The research method uses descriptive-qualitative with the type of study cassus research. The results showed that the procurement of healthy food has 4 stages, namely preparation of coordinating food prices that are economical, healthy and can make children taste good. Implementation can pay attention to the rules before starting to eat together. Supervision is carried out when preparing and managing food related to its nutritional content and evaluating assessments related to nutritional content including carbohydrates, proteins, fats, vitamins, and minerals which are coordinated at a monthly meeting. Suggestions made by parents can be to prepare healthy food supplies. As well as, the sorting of natural food ingredients and nutritional content in an organized manner.

Abstract

Implementation of snake and ladder modified board games in improving cognitive abilities in early childhood. The aim is to get the results of the development of cognitive abilities in children. The type of research used is classroom action research (PTK) to see the cognitive abilities of children who are less than optimal. In data collection, through interviews, observation, and documentation. The results of the research and discussion developed on the Snake and Ladder Modified Board game media conducted at RA Sunan Kalijogo Kalipare show that the Snake and Ladder game in terms of modification of the form of media creation is different from snakes and ladders games in general besides being played individually or in groups. The results of a very significant increase in cognitive abilities were proven from the results of the third day percentage of 57.5% in cycle I and the results in cycle II reached 77.5% which was carried out in only one meeting. The Snake and Ladder Modified Board game has obstacles including inadequate venue size with limited media and time. Research suggestions emphasize the selection of instructional media with more emphasis on design concepts and effective and efficient utilization.
