Abstract

This study aim to find out whether there is a difference in the use of probing prompting learning model that supported by recitation methods on the learning outcomes of eight grides students in social studies subjects at MTs Abu Darrin Dander Bojonegoro in the academic year 2017/2018 compared to confessional models or lectures. This research is a type of experimental research, since this study directly examines the influence among variables to test the cause and effect of variables by giving treatment of the experimental group or class. Based on the results of analysis, the average value of the experimental class is 76.56 and the average value of the control class is 68.48. From the activites between the experimental class and the control class also proved with probing prompting learning model supported by the student recitation method the experimental class more focused on learning that was 75% compared to the control class with the lecture learning model which only 45%. So it can be concluded that there was an effect of probing prompting learning models supported by recitation methods to the learning outcomes of VIII classes in social studies subjects at MTs Abu Darrin Dander Bojonegoro 2017/2018.Keywords: probing prompting learning model, recitation method, social studies, learning outcomes

Abstract

Alasan menggunakan aplikasi Kahoot sebagai media pembelajaran karena cara penyajiannya yang unik dan menarik. Selain berusaha menjawab benar pada soal, siswa juga dilatih untuk berpikir dan mengingat dengan cepat sesuai dengan durasi waktu pada setiap soal yang diberikan kemudian siswa dengan skor tertinggi akan ditampilkan namanya pada setiap pergantian soal. Hal tersebut membuat siswa berkompetisi sesama siswa. Secara tidak langsung, tujuanya adalah mencoba menarik perhatian peserta didik untuk terus konsentrasi didalam kelas dengan cara yang menyenangkan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu quasi exsperimental dengan pola nonequivalent control group design. Dalam artikel ini instrument penelitian yang digunakan adalah tes, Melalui tes tersebut peneliti dapat memperoleh data dan informasi tentang hasil penelitian yang dilakukan pada kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Hasil akhir diperoleh nilai sig. (2-tailed) = 0,000 dengan taraf signifikansi (α = 0,05). Sehingga 0,05 > 0,000 maka Ha diterima dan H0 ditolak. maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan prestasi belajar antara siswa yang pembelajarannya menggunakan media pembelajaran kahoot terhadap prestasi belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran ekonomi siswa SMA Negeri 1 Sugihwaras.

Abstract

The improvement of the quality of education for the younger generation is greatly influenced by effective and innovative education. This study aims to analyze the impact of the application of the Discovery Learning model combined with web-based interactive media on students' academic performance in the era of digital learning. The study used a quantitative approach involving 38 tenth-grade students as samples. Data was collected through pre and post-tests of the model and media application, then statistically analyzed. The results showed a significant increase in the average student score from 50.92 (pretest) to 85.52 (posttest). Hypothesis testing showed a significance value of 0.000 (< 0.05), confirming that the combination of Discovery Learning and web-based media is effective in improving student academic performance. This model encourages students to be more active, independent, and engaged in the learning process, while web-based media creates an interesting, interactive, and easily accessible learning experience. Therefore, this combination is highly recommended for use in modern education to improve overall educational quality.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of integrating the Learning Cycle 5E instructional model with Augmented Reality (AR) media on high school students’ economics learning outcomes. The research employed a quantitative approach using a quasi-experimental method with a Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The population consisted of all eleventh-grade students at SMA Negeri 1 Kedungadem, Bojonegoro, with class XI-8 (36 students) designated as the experimental group and class XI-7 (36 students) as the control group. The research instrument was a learning achievement test comprising 20 multiple choice items that had been tested for validity, reliability, difficulty level, and discrimination index. The findings revealed that the experimental group achieved an average score of 82.4, while the control group obtained an average score of 71.2. A paired sample t-test produced a t-value of 6.87, which exceeded the critical t-table value of 2.03 (α = 0.05). This result indicates a significant effect of integrating the Learning Cycle 5E model with Augmented Reality (AR) on students’ economics learning outcomes. The findings support constructivist theory, which emphasizes the importance of active and contextual learning experiences. Theoretically, this study extends the examination of the effectiveness of the Learning Cycle 5E model by incorporating immersive technology, namely Augmented Reality (AR). Practically, the results provide recommendations for economics teachers to utilize Augmented Reality (AR) technology in creating more interactive, engaging, and relevant learning experiences that meet the needs of the digital generation.
