Abstract

Abstrak: This research aims (1) to identify task variations in elementary school during the corona pandemic; and (2) to identify learning activities in elementary school during the corona pandemic. This research approach is descriptive qualitative. The data of this research are the the forms of task and learning activities during the corona pandemic. The data source comes from elementary school teachers in the Boyolali area. Data collection in this research uses a questionnaire in the form of Google Forms. The data analysis in this research uses an interactive method. The results showed (1) the task variations in elementary school during the corona pandemic in the form of portfolios, practice, and exercise. Applications or media that are mostly used by elementary school teachers in giving assignments during the corona pandemic namely Whatsapp; and (2) the learning activities in elementary school during the corona pandemic is the provision of instructional videos from YouTube, questions and answers discussion through Whatsapp, and working on exercises. Keywords: task variations, learning activities, corona, online learning Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan (1) mengidentifikasi variasi tugas di Sekolah Dasar pada masa pandemi corona; dan (2) mengidentifikasi aktivitas pembelajaran di Sekolah Dasar pada masa pandemi corona. Pendekatan penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Data penelitian ini adalah bentuk-bentuk tugas dan aktivitas pembelajaran pada masa pandemi corona. Sumber data berasal dari guru-guru SD di wilayah Boyolali. Pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan kuesioner dalam bentuk Google Forms. Analisis data pada penelitian ini menggunakan metode interaktif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan (1) variasi tugas di Sekolah Dasar pada masa pandemi corona berupa portofolio, praktik, dan soal latihan. Adapun aplikasi atau media yang banyak digunakan guru SD dalam memberikan tugas pada masa pandemi corona yaitu Whatsapp; dan (2) aktivitas pembelajaran di Sekolah Dasar pada masa pandemi corona ialah pemberian video pembelajaran dari Youtube, diskusi tanya jawab melalui aplikasi Whatsapp, dan mengerjakan soal latihan. Kata kunci: variasi tugas, aktivitas pembelajaran, corona, pembelajaran daring

Abstract

Pandemi korona yang sekarang ini terjadi menjadi momok bagi masyarakat, khususnya bagi para pedagang. Peraturan pemerintah yang mengharuskan masyarakat melakukan pembatasan jarak (sosial distancing) membuat para pedagang terhambat dalam proses perdagangan. Penelitian ini bertujuan (1) mengidentifikasi dampak yang ditimbulkan akibat adanya pembatasan sosial (social distancing) bagi pedagang dan (2) langkah yang diambil para pedagang pada era pandemi corona. Pendekatan penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Data penelitian ini adalah dampak adanya social distancing bagi para pedagang di Pasar Tradisional Kartasura. Sumber datan berasal dari beberapa pedagang yang berjualan di pasar, seperti pedagang sayur, pedagang buah, pedagang daging, dan pedagang bahan pokok yang berjumlah 20 responden. Pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan teknik wawancara, rekam, dan dilanjutkan catat. Analisis data pada penelitian ini menggunakan metode interaktif melalui tiga tahap yakni reduksi data, sajian data, dan penarikan simpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan (1) dampak yang ditimbulkan akibat adanya pembatasan sosial (social distancing) bagi pedagang di Pasar Tradisional Kartasura yakni pasar menjadi sepi, daya beli masyarakat menurun, dan distribusi bahan yang terhambat; (2) langkah-langkah yang diambil para pedagang di Pasar Tradisional Kartasura pada era pandemi corona yakni mengurangi jumlah dagangannya, menurunkan harga, dan beralih profesi.

Abstract

The various television shows can now be easily accessed by children for 24 hours without the need for parental controls. Television shows that are presented are of various types, ranging from educational shows, cartoons to soap operas. This article aims to map out television shows that are of favored by elementary school students. The approach of this research is qualitative descriptive. The subjects of this study were elementary school students from grade I to grade VI. The data of this study were collected by using interview and observation methods. The data analysis of this study used an interactive method. The results of this study shows that television shows that are of favored by elementary school students are: Spongebob, Upin & Ipin, Kamen Rider Ex-Aid, Doraemon, Munki and Trunk, Si Bolang, On The Spot, Anak Langit, Tukang Ojek Pengkolan. It can be concluded that television shows that are favored by elementary school students are cartoon shows that have the power of imagination and creativity. There is a need for parental control when children watch television, especially on television shows in which the are elements of violence and bullying.

Abstract

Background: Popular children’s television shows are thought to imitate elementary school children’s language behavior. If children do not get parental assistance, television viewing can have an adverse effect on children’s behavior. Purpose: Therefore, this study aims to examine the influence of children’s television shows on the imitation behavior of elementary-age children. Methods: This study took a descriptive-qualitative approach. In-depth interviews with parents of elementary-age children who watch television were used to collect data for this study. The data analysis employed the interactive model. Results: This study found various imitations such as (1) linguistic imitation, children mimic the language used in television shows and add new vocabulary; (2) behavioral imitation, including both positive and negative behaviors. Positive habits include: Dancing, helping to cook like Bald, imitating the call to prayer, and reciting the Koran. Negative habits include language training, listening to adhan, singing, eating independently, understanding the show, reading, sharing food, practicing prayers, and mimicking adhan. Based on the impact of the shows, it is evident that not all children’s television shows positively impact their language and behavior. Implications: Theoretically, this research implies that elementary school children’s imitation behavior can be formed through television shows that children watch. The practical implications of this research are as input for parents and teachers to have television shows that children watch as a medium for elementary school children’s education.
