The increasing need in techniques of storing big data presents a new challenge. One way to address this challenge is the use of distributed storage systems. One strategy that implemented in distributed data storage systems is the use of Erasure Code which applied to network coding. The code used in this technique is based on the algebraic structure which is called as vector space. Some studies have also been carried out to create code that is based on other algebraic structures such as module. In this study, we are going to try to set up a code based on the algebraic structure which is a generalization of the module that is semimodule by utilizing the max operations and sum operations at max plus algebra. The results of this study indicate that the max operation and the addition operation on max plus algebra cannot be used to establish a semimodule code, but by modifying the operation "+" as "min", we get a code based on semimodule. Key agreement protocol is a method in cryptography. Key agreement protocol is used to overcome the problem of sending secret information over communication lines. A secret key, called password, is needed to secure t he information. Both parties who exchange confidential information must agree on the same key. In this method, both parties exchange mutual general parameters that everyone can see, however from the general parameters the same passwords can be formed and not publicly known. One method that has been used is applying a series of matrix multiplication operation defined over a finite field. In this study, we constructed an algorithm in the form of a key agreement protocol that can be used in the password agreement method which the level of security based on algebraic problem of matrix operation over Z- min plus algebra. Min Plus algebra over Z, that is Z È { + ¥ } with Z is the set of all integers equipped with the minimum and addition operation, is called idempotent semiring. The results showed that the application of matrix operation over min plus algebra can be used as key agreement protocol in securing secret information. This study analysis of empty box victory in Makassar City regional head elections in 2018. The approach used in this research is qualitative. Data collection techniques with in-depth interviews and literature study. The results showed that a single candidate against an empty box victory occurred in Makassar City regional head elections in 2018, after the Danny-Indira candidate pair was disqualified for alleged money politics. The empty box victory has relevance to the disqualification of Danny Pomanto as the incumbent when the regional head elections were already underway so that the winning team and supporters networks had been formed concretely, the spread of Danny Pomanto's support network was unavoidable and interest groups supporting empty boxes like Rewako were ready to accommodate and accommodate they. The attitude of domination politics and the use of identity politics by Appi-Cicu in the middle of an industrial and service city also plays a role in venting public antipathy and venting their choices into empty boxes.

Abstract: The purpose of this study is to describe management of Bela Negara and Kemaritiman curriculum in building students character at senior high school. This research used a qualitative approach with a case study. The reasons to use a case study is the research metode focused on a unique case of detailed. Data resources for this study include; curriculum expert staff as key informant, headmaster, vice principal of the curriculum, and special curriculum implementation team as additional informant. Data were analysed through data collection, data reduction, data presentation and conclusion. The study results show that Bela Negara and Kemaritiman curriculum through learning activities, training activities, and parenting activities then supported by a boarding school education system, Bela Negara and Kemaritiman curriculum explore the strong national character in students consists of tolerance value, discipline, hard work, independent, responsible, and has the soul of nationalism. Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini medeskripskan manajemen kurikulum bela negara dan kemaritiman dalam membentuk karakter peserta didik di sekolah menengah atas. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian studi kasus. Alasan menggunakan jenis penelitian studi kasus adalah metode penelitian ini memusatkan perhatian pada suatu peristiwa yang unik secara rinci. Sumber data penelitian ini antara lain; Staf Ahli Kurikulum sebagai informan kunci, serta Kepala Sekolah, Wakil Kepala Sekolah Kurikulum, dan tim pelaksana kurikulum khusus sebagai informan tambahan. Analisis data penelitian ini menggunakan pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, serta menarik kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pelaksanaan kurikulum bela negara dan kemaritiman melalui kegiatan pembelajaran, kegiatan pelatihan, dan kegiatan pengasuhan serta didukung dengan sistem pendidikan sekolah berasrama, kurikulum bela negara dan kemaritiman ini menghasilkan pembentukan karakter kebangsaan pada peserta didik yang kuat yakni nilai toleransi, disiplin, kerja keras, mandiri, tanggung jawab, dan memiliki jiwa nasionalisme.
