Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know whether there is influence of OHS knowledge, OHS compliance and OHS supervision for mafacture company in Bekasi district to the number of work accident through the implementation of Occupational Safety and Health Management (SMK3) system. The three independent variables in this research are knowledge of OHS (X1), OHS compliance (X2), and OHS supervision (X3) and one dependent variable is Occupational Safety and Health Management System (Y).This research uses Quantitative approach with SEM (Structural Equation Modeling) method, data collecting is done by distributing questionnaires to 295 respondents, data processing using Lisrel program, research subject is manufacturing company in Bekasi district industrial area. The result of analysis is known that Knowledge of OHS, OHS Compliance , and OHS Supervisory simultaneously give a significant influence to the implementation of OHS Management System within the company, Lack of knowledge on OHS resulted in lack of Compliance level and lack of Supervision from Institution having authority according to the provisions of law, the forefront of OHS Management System will affect the high of low accidents in company.

Abstract

Contractor Safety Management System (CSMS) is a documentation of a control mechanism in the form of guidelines to ensure business standards in managing the HSE performance of contractors. PT X is a company engaged in services in the oil and gas sector, which has a high risk in every day-to-day operational activity of having an accident with lost working hours (LTI) caused by contractors. This study aims to determine whether the CSMS implementation is effective enough to reduce the level of accidents at PT X. This research is a descriptive type of research or a qualitative approach evaluation study with the method of data analysis carried out by the Literature Tracing Method which produces CSMS Implementation Data & Accident Data and interviews. Experts then structured CSMS problems into hierarchical institutional elements and sub-elements using the Interpretative Structural Modeling (ISM) Method. The results showed that the implementation of CSMS at PT X was quite effective in reducing the number of accidents at PT X but for the implementation of this CSMS cycle must be carried out according to the CSMS guidelines at PT X and with consistency at each stage so that no negligence impacted accidents for contractors carrying out contract work at PT X. Abstract

Abstract. The research in general aims to analyze the fatality incident due to Covid-19 that occurred on March 28, 2021 using a combined method of 3 root cause methods, namely the SCAT, 5 Why, and Bow Tie methods, and ends by prioritizing improvements with the Interpretive Structural Model method ( ISM) And specifically the purpose of this research is to determine the root causes of the main causes using the 5 Why and SCAT methods, Determine the factors before and after the top event that contribute to the threat and consequences of the Covid-19 pandemic risk using the BowTie method, and determine the Barrier factors from BowTie Analysis which are critical factors that must be implemented. The results of the analysis using 5 Whys and PHE SCAT show that there are unsafe actions both from human factors and conditions that cause workers to be exposed to COVID-19 at work sites. To optimize the condition so that it doesn't happen again, a follow-up analysis using BowTie was carried out and the results of the research used ISM (Interpretive Structural Modeling) for critical Barriers for threats (treats) which prioritized to be implemented and monitored, namely A1 (on-site emergency planning). Critical factors Barriers to become (Consequences) that are key to implementation are the main sub-element B2

Abstract

This study was evaluated to assess the level of motivation and performance of the Safe Work Permit System (SIKA) implementation on the PT Pertamina EP Cepu ADK gas production facility construction project. The results showed that the level of motivation and performance of the implementation of SIKA at PT PDC was rated high by most respondents, but its implementation still faces challenges. Analysis using the Partial Least Square Structural Equation Model (PLS-SEM) method shows that the positive and significant influence of leadership style and infrastructure conditions on the motivation for implementing SIKA. However, leadership style does not have a significant influence on the performance of SIKA implementation, while infrastructure facilities make a positive and significant contribution to performance. The relationship between infrastructure facilities and IFS implementation performance is significantly mediated by the motivation to implement IFS, but not the relationship between leadership style and IFS implementation performance. The results of the study provide important insights for the management of PT PDC to further strengthen employee motivation, especially through the improvement of supporting infrastructure, in order to improve the performance and implementation of IAS. Although leadership style is rated high, the findings show that other factors such as infrastructure also play a role in improving the performance of SIKA implementation. In this context, management can focus more efforts on optimizing infrastructure to create a safe work environment and improve the implementation of SIKA. This finding has high relevance for other oil and gas industry companies, especially in efforts to reduce the risk of work accidents.
