Abstract

This study aims to analyze the real reasons for banning the veil (niqab) in freedom of religious expression and the ideological contestation behind the pros and cons of banning the veil on campuses of state Islamic universities. This study used a qualitative design. The data was collected from many online news and social media, which were then analyzed through three stages: data statement, description, and interpretation. This research reveals that the policy of banning the veil on students of state Islamic tertiary institutions is intended to foster students, so they are not exposed to radicalism and extremism. The pros and cons of this policy are based on the contestation of moderatism and radicalism, framed by various constitutional narratives, human rights, and others. Each is interested in ensuring the continuity of his ideology through students who will inherit the leadership of this nation in the future.

Abstract

Kajian ini hendak mengungkap materi, metode dan implikasi pembelajaran majelis taklim pesarean Habib Sholeh Tanggul dalam menginternalisasikan nilai-nilai Islam rahmatan lil alamin. Kajian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis studi kasus. Data diperoleh dengan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumen. Analisis data menggunakan analisis interaktif yang terdiri atas reduksi data, penyajian data, dan simpulan. Hasil penelitian ini mengungkap: Pertama, materi pembelajaran Majelis Taklim Pesarean Habib Sholeh Tanggul dalam menginternalisasikan nilai-nilai Islam rahmatan lil alamin yakni mempelajari materi tematik yang menyesuaikan dengan momentum terkini, pembelajaran akhlak serta pembelajaran kitab Risalatul Muawwanah yang di dalamnya mengulas mengenai nasehat-nasehat beserta dalilnya. Kedua, metode pembelajaran Majelis Ta’lim Pesarean Habib Sholeh Tanggul adalah dengan menggunakan metode ceramah (mauidloh hasanah) satu arah. Ketiga, implikasi pembelajaran Majelis Ta’lim Pesarean Habib Sholeh Tanggul dalam menginternalisasikan nilai-nilai Islam rahmatan lil alamin adalah dengan menguatnya sikap tenggang rasa, toleran, menanamkan hidup seimbang, membiasakan hidup adil dan menyeru pada amar ma’ruf nahi munkar, serta damai dengan orang lain dan lingkungan sekitar. Kata kunci: majelis ta’lim, internalisasi nilai, Islam rahmatan lil alamin, Habib Sholeh Tanggul This study aims to reveal the material, methods and learning implications of the Majelis Ta’lim Habib Sholeh Tanggul in internalizing the Islamic values ​​of rahmatan lil alamin. This study uses a qualitative approach with the type of case study. Data are obtained by observation, interviews, and documents. Data analysis used interactive analysis consisting of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. The results of this study reveal: First, the learning materials for the Majelis Ta’lim Habib Sholeh Tanggul in internalizing the Islamic values ​​of rahmatan lil alamin, namely studying thematic material that adapts to the latest momentum, moral learning and learning the Risalatul Muawwanah book which includes advice and the argument. Second, the learning method of the Majelis Ta’lim Habib Sholeh Tanggul is by using the one-way lecture (mauidloh hasanah) method. Third, the learning implications of the Majelis Ta’lim Habib Sholeh Tanggul's learning implications in internalizing the Islamic values ​​of rahmatan lil alamin are by strengthening tolerance, tolerance, instilling a balanced life, getting used to living justly and calling for amar ma'ruf nahi munkar, and peace with other people and the environment.

Abstract

Entrepreneurial management is the process of planning, organizing, directing, and controlling resources to create and manage a business. Meanwhile, the entrepreneurial spirit is the ability to create something new and different through creative thinking processes and innovative actions. The focus of this research consists of: 1) What are the forms of entrepreneurial management at the Darun Najah Lumajang Islamic boarding school; 2) What are the results of the entrepreneurship program at the Darun Najah Lumajang Islamic boarding school; and 3) What are the inhibiting and supporting factors in fostering an entrepreneurial spirit at the Darun Najah Lumajang Islamic boarding school. This research uses a qualitative approach, which produces descriptive data with a case study type. Data collection techniques included passive participant observation, semi-structured interviews, and documentation. Data validity uses triangulation and member checks. Data analysis uses data condensation, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this research are: 1) Forms of entrepreneurial management starting from coordination meetings with foundations, specialization of training programs, division of entrepreneurial fields, 2) The results of entrepreneurship programs provide benefits for students and alumni, as well as the economic independence of Islamic boarding schools. 3) Supporting factors to foster an entrepreneurial spirit: facilities accommodating, coaching, and inhibiting factors such as the lack of awareness of students and busy schedules.
