Abstract

Contribution of Qur’anic Studies by Indonesian Scientists in Higher Education in the Year 2009-2020This article examines various works of Qur’anic Studies written by Indonesian scientists that are utilized and widely used as references in universities and their contributions; because so far what has been used as a reference is the work of Qur’anic Studies in Arabic or some of its translations. This research was conducted in the form of qualitative research with library research methods with data collection techniques in the form of documentation of literature of Qur’anic Studies so that the printed version can be traced physically and/or published online in the form of complete soft file to be analysed descriptively-interpretatively. From the research in general, it was concluded that in the period of 2009-2020, the works of Qur’anic Studies from scientists in this field of science in Indonesia experienced a significant and increasing number of works, with the discovery of 21 more works than previous research, and they have not been used as an object of research. These works are the real contribution of Indonesian scientists in writing the work of Qur’anic Studies. Therefore, it is hoped that these works can be a reference source in the Qur’anic Studies course and then used as a reference source in the bibliography for subsequent works, equal to the works of other scholars of the Islamic world

Abstract

This article examines the educatif impilcation of the older term in Qur’anic verses that express through the interpretation of the commentators in their various popular works that are authoritative using a thematic interpretation approach (al-tafsîr al-maudhû’î) using qualitative methods of literature study with analysis descriptive-interpretative nature. The older term with various forms and derivations that were successfully identificated which later became the object and focus of this research were the term arba’în sanah, ardzal al-‘umur, al-shayb (al-syīb and al-shyaibah), al-shaykh (and al-syuyûkh), al-’ajûz, al-kibar (and al-kabîr), nu’ammir (yu’ammar and mu’ammar), and thâla or tathâwala al-’umur. After elaborating on the interpretation and accentation of its meaning and analyzing the results of the discussion, it turns out that these terms have many implications, especially those relating to aspects of Islamic education.

Abstract

Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perspektif dan model berliterasi Muhammad ibn Ismâ’îl Al-Muqaddam tentang spirit literasinya, yang meliputi cita literasi, literasi mencari ilmu (thalab al-’ilm), literasi dakwah, literasi e-dakwah (digital), dan karya literasinya. Al-Muqaddam termasuk ulama kontemporer yang dahulunya adalah ilmuwan ilmu umum yang kemudian mengintegrasikannya dengan ilmu-ilmu keagamaan. Cita literasi Al-Muqaddam dilandasi oleh niat dan motivasi sebagai langkah pertama berliterasi (awwal al-’ilm al-niyyah), yaitu dengan niat yang kuat dan semangat yang membara (al-himmah al-’âliyah atau ’uluww al-himmah) serta dengan beradab sebelum berliterasi (al-adab qabl al-thalab). Langkah Al-Muqaddam selanjutnya adalah berliterasi dalam mencari ilmu (thalab al-’ilm) dengan banyak berguru dan dengan mengkaji pelbagai literatur keilmuan. Al-Muqaddam juga aktif melakukan literasi dakwah dengan aktif berdakwah di berbagai forum keagamaan dan aktif pula berliterasi e-dakwah melalui situs resmi (mauqi’) sebagai media daring pribadinya, yaitu almukaddem.com/home: situs Al-Syaikh Muhammad ibn Ismâ’îl Al-Muqaddam. Di samping itu, Al-Muqaddam pun produktif berliterasi dalam wujud penulisan karya ilmiah, buku, artikel, dan karya tulis lainnya. Spirit Al-Muqaddam dalam berliterasi tersebut pada akhirnya telah menjadi karakter dan habit pribadinya (huwiyyah) yang berhasil mempopulerkan namanya sebagai intelektual yang mampu mengintegrasikan ilmu umum dengan ilmu agama sekaligus.
