Hadith become the source of both law in Islam, where textual and contextual application is used. Some hadith needed editors of the qur’an texts to get an understanding of the hadiths being studied. In this study, we adopted one hadiths which is still a public debate. The focus of this research is that of women’s leadership gifts to be studied by Mubadalah methods the one that was championed by Faqihuddin Abdul Qadir. Footsteps his research was to throne the hadith and to explain the terms and then apply traditional thought Mubadalah as a step to gaining an understanding of the hadith which did not affect women’s subornation anymore. Further explaining the roles that women have performed in public space the study concludes that basic Islamic principle used in the hadith is surah An-Nisa verse 59 and the surah at-taubah verse 71. In both the verse explained the reprisals for those who had faith and obedience to their leaders. Then the main idea when discovered applies the mubadalah method is either the lack of luck or luck a victory for nation. And the final step is to enter the subject which is there is no mention (men). Men could’ve done damage if he’d been a leader. The understanding given by the mubadalah method is how to make a hadith impression at all parties, not only one participant and costs other by using the passage of the qur’an as understanding.

Roland Barthes’s semiotics, as a science that is concerned in coding, was applied in analyzing the story of the Prophet David. Application of multilevel readings; Heuristic readings and retroactive readings in the story of the Prophet David consisting of 25 lexia texts of the Koran, were found to be of significance identified from certain codes, including: a) hermeunetic code / puzzle code, b) symbolic code “David” symbol from the ideal leader, c) the semic code or the “ark” connotative code means the importance of preserving and preserving relics, d) the proaretic code / action code “David fell” means humility acknowledging mistakes not looking at someone’s status, e) gnomic code or code Cultural “Goliath and its troops” means that there will always be those who spread damage, and during this time God’s intervention will also contribute to protecting the universe through the other party who spread goodness, and so on.

Pathok Negoro Mosque is the cultural and religious heritage that is very monumental for Yogyakarta. As heir to the triumph of Islamic Mataram, Yogyakarta is the region with strong religiosity as well as holders of strong Javanese tradition until today. However, it must be recognized also that the current generation is getting deprived of the intellectual heritage of culture and religiosity past so it may fail to understand the meaning of the symbols attached to the mosque pathok Negoro. For that reason, this study is trying to unravel the meaning or the values of the mosque pathok Negoro formulated in two areas of study, the historicity of the mosque pathok Negoro and material symbols that exist in the mosque. Ultimately, this study offers a second interpretation of the heritage value of the order to be understood more easily to the context of the current era.[Masjid Pathok Negoro adalah peninggalan budaya dan agama yang sangat monumental bagi Yogyakarta. Sebagai pewaris kejayaan Mataram Islam Yogyakarta menjadi wilayah dengan relijiusitas yang kental serta pemegang tradisi jawa yang kuat hingga saat ini. Namun demikian harus diakui pula bahwa generasi terkini semakin terjauhkan dari warisan-warisan intelektual budaya dan relijiusitas masa lalu sehingga sangat mungkin gagal memahami makna simbol yang melekat pada masjid pathok negoro. Dengan alasan itu, kajian ini mencoba mengurai makna atau nilai-nilai dari masjid pathok negoro yang dirumuskan dalam dua wilayah kajian, historisitas masjid pathok negoro dan simbol-simbol material yang ada pada masjid tersebut. Pada akhirnya, kajian ini menawarkan interpretasi terhadap kedua warisan nilai tersebut agar dapat dipahami lebih mudah untuk konteks zaman saat ini.]

This article discusses Tafsir At-Tanwir (2016), a work composed by the Majelis Tarjih dan Tajdid PP Muhammadiyah. The focus of this study is to reveal the background behind the writing of Tafsir At-Tanwir, in addition to the exploration of methods and approaches used in this work. It will also observe the extent to which the exegetical materials of this work respond to the current issues. The article is a library research with descriptive-critical-analytic method. The lens of contemporary tafsir paradigm is also used as the approach to analyse the data. From the analysis that has been carried out, this research concludes several important remarks. First, in addition to being written with the aim of utilizing the symbolic capital of the people derived from the guidance of the Qur’an in order to awaken their ethos and build a progressive Indonesian civilization, the birth of Tafsir At-Tanwir is a form of Muhammadiyah’s commitment which from the beginning stood up to al-Ruju ‘ila al-Qur’an wa al-Sunnah (Back to the Qur’an and Sunna). Second, the method used in Tafsir At-Tanwir is the tahlili (analytic)-cum-mawdu’i (thematic), while the approach used in Tafsir At-Tanwir is a combination of three approaches; Bayani, Burhani and Irfani. Third, Tafsir At-Tanwir has three special characteristics: 1) responsive interpretations. 2) interpretations that generate dynamics; and 3) Interpretations that generate ethos. In this work, there are also four ethos that are built in: the ethos of worship, economic ethos and work ethic, social ethos, and scientific ethos.[Artikel ini membahas tentang Tafsir At-Tanwir (2016) karya Tim Majelis Tarjih dan Tajdid PP Muhammadiyah. Adapun yang menjadi fokus kajian dalam artikel ini adalah mengungkap latarbelakang penulisan Tafsir At-Tanwir. Selain itu, artikel ini juga akan mengupas metode dan pendekatan yang digaunakan dalam Tafsir At-Tanwir dan sejauh mankah produk tafsir Tafsir At-Tanwir dalam merespons dan menjawab problem-problem aktual kekinian. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penlitian pustaka. Metode yang digunakan dalam deskriptif-analisis-kritis dengan menggunakan pendekatan paradigma tafsir kontemporer. Dari analisis yang telah dilakukan penelitian ini mnyimpulkan bahwa: pertama, selain ditulis dengan tujuan untuk memanfaatkan modal simbolis umat yang dapat digali dari tuntunan kitab suci al-Qur’an dalam rangka membangkitkan etos umat dan membangun peradaban Indonesia yang berkemajuan, lahirnya Tafsir At-Tanwir merupakan bentuk komitmen Muhammadiyah yang sejak awal berdiri menggelorakan al-Ruju’ ila al-Qur’an wa al-Sunnah. Kedua, metode yang penafsiran yang digunakan Tafsir At-Tanwir adalah metode tahlili cum tematik. Sedangkan pendekatan yang digunakan dalam Tafsir At-Tanwir adalah gabungan tiga pendekatan Bayani, Burhani dan Irfani. Ketiga, Tafsir At-Tanwir memiliki tigakarakteristik: 1) Tafsir Responsivitas. 2) Tafsir yang Membangkitkan Dinamika; dan 3) Tafsir yang Membangkitkan Etos. Dalam Tafsir At-Tanwir ada empat etos yang dibangun, yaitu: etos ibadah, etos ekonomi dan etos kerja, etos sosial, dan etos keilmuan.]

Dalail Khairat fasting is a type of fasting that is practiced at the Darul Falah Jekulo Islamic Boarding School, Kudus. This fast is carried out for 3 consecutive years. In its implementation, the participants went through several stages of fasting. This paper attempts to discuss how the practice of fasting is carried out, the chain of fasting practice, namely the transmission of knowledge and the foundation of authoritative texts, as well as the subject's reception in the implementation of fasting. This research is a field research. Technical data analysis was carried out qualitatively-descriptively. Using an analysis of historical methods, the author concludes that the genealogical roots of Dalail Khairat's fasting go back to the first mujiz, namelySayyid al-Imam Muhammad bin Sulaiman al-Jazuli. In addition, the Dalail's fasting riyadah has an influence on the mental and psychological state of the practitioner. This shows that the Darul Falah Islamic Boarding School is able to maintain this fasting tradition in a sustainable manner.

This study aims to examine the meaning of the hadith about "take from me mansik of Hajj" among the PERSIS. The issue that is the focus of this research is a problem related to the pilgrimage ritual problem that is understood by a group of community organizations known as Islamic Unity (PERSIS). This research will be limited to the study of living hadith. This term can be defined as a phenomenon in the form of behavior patterns in Islamic societies that arise from their understanding of the hadith. The results showed that understanding Hajj rituals for PERSIS was important. This can be seen from the importance of the example of the Prophet Muhammad. Among pilgrims, there are those who make it important so that in carrying out the Hajj and its rituals must be in accordance with what is exemplified by the Prophet Muhammad. The importance of Hajj management changes that can make the pilgrimage run comfortably, and they can go home safely and healthily. So that after returning home can actualize in daily worship activities better
