Abstract

Depresi merupakan salah satu bentuk sindrom gangguan keseimbangan mood (suasana perasaan). Prevalensi depresi pada lansia di dunia berkisar 8-15%. Sementara prevalensi depresi pada lansia yang menjalani perawatan di Rumah Sakit dan panti jompo sebesar 30%-45%. Tahun 2013, prevalensi penduduk pada usia ≥ 15 tahun yang mengalami gangguan mental emosional secara nasional adalah 6,0%. Di Sumatera Barat prevalensi gangguan mental emosional yaitu sebesar 4,5%. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan depresi dengan kejadian insomnia pada lansia di Panti Sosial Tresna Werdha Kasih Sayang Ibu Batusangkar Tahun 2014. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian Deskriptif Korelasional dengan pendekatan Cross Sectional. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh lansia yang berada di Panti Sosial Tresna Werdha Kasih Sayang Ibu Batusangkar Tahun 2014 dengan teknik pengambilan sampel sampling jenuh, dimana semua populasi dijadikan sampel sebanyak 60 orang. Waktu penelitian dilakukan pada bulan Maret sampai dengan September 2014. Hasil penelitian didapatkan 36 lansia (60,0%) mengalami depresi dan 24 lansia (75,0%) mengalami kejadian insomnia. Abstract

This study originated from the phenomenon of women's lack of attention to the menstrual cycle disorders, reproductive health-related, and therefore the presence of this research will be the concern of every woman's reproductive health. Disorders of the menstrual cycle is an important indicator which shows the function of the reproductive system disorders that can be associated with an increased risk of various diseases such as cervical cancer and infertility. Initial survey in Dublin City Health Office showed that the majority of women of childbearing age are in Work Area Health Center Mandiangin. The study aims to determine the factors associated with impaired menstrual cycle in women of childbearing age. This research was conducted at the Work Area Health Center Mandiangin, cross sectional study design, April to October 2014, population in this study were women of reproductive age 15-44 years in the Work Area Health Center Mandiangin as 556 after being put into a formula of simple random sampling of 85 samples, Data were processed and analyzed by computer. The results showed that most respondents experienced menstrual cycle disorders (65.9%), the majority of respondents experience stress (81.6%), most respondents weight premises at risk (78.4%), the majority of respondents had no good diet (81 , 6%), and the majority of women of childbearing age with activities that are not at risk (66.2%). Based on the variables studied, there are three variables that had a significant relationship to the menstrual cycle disturbances in women of childbearing age are stress, weight, and diet. While physical activity variables were not related. Expected to health center staff Mandiangin especially midwives to conduct outreach and counseling to women of childbearing age that every woman will know her menstrual cycle in order to improve knowledge of women of childbearing age about the normal menstrual cycle

Abstract

Cognitive impairment has frequently been found as a geriatric syndrome in the elderly. It is vary from mild cognitive impairment to severe dementia. In cases of dementia, cognitive impairment has been found concomitanly with decreasing of daily activities characterized by dependence on the environment. Caring for dementia patients will increase many sector health burdens, indeed preventive actions are needed by managing risk factors such as frailty levels and finding new cases of cognitive impairment earlier with sensitive screening instruments. The Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MoCA) is a superior instrument for detecting mild cognitive impairment. The study aims to examine the correlation of MoCA-Ina scores with the frailty status of elderly patients. This study is an observational analytic study with a cross-sectional study design. The research subjects were taken using consecutive techniques. Based on the analytical formula for correlative numerical data, a sample of 95 subjects was obtained. The results of this study using Spearmen's rho correlation analysis has been obtained a significant relationship between MoCA-Ina scores and frailty levels with p = 0.000 and moderate correlation with correlation coefficient of r = -0.455. The study concluded that there was a moderate correlation between MoCA-Ina scores and the frailty levels of elderly subjects.
