Abstract

This study was conducted to determine the effect of the learning method (TGT) and conventional learning methods on the learning outcomes of passing under volleyball in SMA Negeri 2 Bone students. This research method is a type of experimental research selected by random sampling then given a pretest and posttest with a population of all students of SMA Negeri 2 Bone. Furthermore, 2 (two) classes that have been randomly selected are then given treatment in the form of physical education learning in the form of the TGT cooperative learning model and the other one is not given treatment or carries out conventional learning. The data analysis technique used t test with a significant level of 0.05. The result of the unpaired t-test calculation shows that the t value is 5.069 and the probability value is 0.000 which is smaller than the α 0.05, which means that there is a significant difference in the effect between cooperative learning type TGT and conventional learning on improving the ability to pass under volleyball (p <0.05). The difference seen from the mean value of the final passing under test in the cooperative learning class TGT is 10.14 greater than the average value of the conventional class final test of 7.94. Thus it can be said that the TGT type of cooperative learning is better than conventional learning in improving the ability to pass under volleyball in SMA Negeri 2 Bone students.Keywords: TGT, under-passing, volleyball, student learning outcomes.AbstrakPenelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh antara metode pembelajaran (TGT) dan metode pembelajaran konvensional terhadap hasil belajar passing bawah permainan bola voli siswa SMA Negeri 2 Bone. Metode penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian eksperimen yang dipilih secara random sampling kemudian diberi pretest dan posttest dengan populasi seluruh siswa SMA Negeri 2 Bone. Selanjutnya 2 (dua) kelas yang telah dipilih secara acak kemudian diberikan perlakuan berupa pembelajaran pendidikan jasmani dalam bentuk model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TGT dan yang satunya tidak diberi perlakuan atau melakukan pembelajaran secara konvensional. teknik analisis data yang digunakan uji t dengan taraf signifikan 0.05. Hasil perhitungan uji-t tidak berpasangan menunjukkan nilai t yaitu 5,069 dan nilai probabilitas yaitu 0,000 lebih kecil dari nilai α 0.05 berarti ada perbedaan pengaruh yang signifikan antara pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TGT dan pembelajaran konvensional terhadap peningkatan kemampuan passing bawah bolavoli (p < 0.05). Perbedaan dilihat dari nilai rata-rata tes akhir passing bawah kelas pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TGT sebesar 10,14 lebih besar dari nilai rata-rata tes akhir kelas konvensional sebesar 7,94. Dengan demikian dapat dikatakan bahwa pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TGT lebih baik dibandingkan pembelajaran konvensional dalam meningkatkan kemampuan passing bawah bola voli pada siswa SMA Negeri 2 Bone.Kata kunci: TGT, passing bawah, bolavoli, hasil belajar siswa.

Abstract

Abstrak; Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah ketersediaan sarana dan prasarana sudah memenuhi standar dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran penjas. Penelitian ini adalah jenis penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Populasinya adalah seluruh subjek penelitian yaitu sarana dan prasarana olahraga SMA Negeri 3 Makassar.Dari 6 Prasarana, sudah tersedia 4 prasarana atau 100% tergolong sangat baik, dan 2 prasarana atau 0% tergolong kurang sekali. Karena di SMA Negeri 3 Makassar tidak terdapat lapangan bulutangkis dan aula senam. Dari 19 sarana olahraga, 11 sarana atau 100%, 3 sarana atau 83.3% dan 1 sarana 85.7% yang termasuk dalam kategori baik sekali. 1 sarana atau 66.6% masuk dalam kategori baik, 1 sarana atau 50% tergolong sedang, 1 sarana atau 33.3% termasuk dalam kategori kurang, dan 1 sarana atau 0% termasuk dalam kategori kurang sekali.Sesuai hasil penelitian ini, disarankan: (1) Sebagai Guru penjas dalam proses belajar mengajar harus lebih kreatif dalam memberdayakan sarana dan prasarana yang dimiliki sekolah dengan segala keterbatasan sarana dan prasarana olahraga. (2) Guru yang bertugas pada bagian sarana dan prasarana olahraga hendaknya bisa mengawasi dengan baik sarana dan prasarana yang standar agar baik diberikan dalam menunjang prestasi olahraga sekolah sehingga menumbuhkan atau mengembangkan minat belajar bagi siswa-siswi pada saat proses belajar mengajar di laksanakan.

Abstract

The study aimed at describing the planning, performance, observation, reflection, and the implementation of agility learning in improving agility ability in football of class VI Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri 2 Makassar. The study is a classroom action research conducted in four meetings in cycle I and cycle II. The study was designed in four phases, namely the planning, the implementation, the observation, and the reflection. Data of the study was basic ability of dribbling the ball as psychomotor data. The data sources were 26 students of class VI in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri 2 Makassar. Data collection of dribbling ability used assessment sheet of initial attitude technique, body position, feet movement, and final attitude, as well as multiple choice assesment sheet in cycle I and cycle II. Data were then analyzed quantitatively. The result of quantitative data analysis revealed that 15 students completed in cycle I with 57,70% and 24 students completed in cycle II with 92,30%. The conclusion of the study was Penjasorkes learning through agility learning method in football dribbling could improve dribbling ability of class VI students in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri 2 Makassar.

Abstract

Wrestling contains the meaning of a fight, a fierce fight to defeat the opponent by hitting, kicking, strangling, and even biting each other. However, this understanding has changed because it has become a sport that is equipped with rules that are obeyed by its participants. Mastery of basic techniques is very important because determining overall skill and proficiency in a sport means having to be skilled at doing some basic movement techniques. So with a good mastery of basic techniques an athlete will have a greater chance of achieving an achievement. One of the basic techniques is the waist slam technique. This type of slamming technique utilizes the waist as a foundation for the slamming technique. To be able to perform basic techniques perfectly, it is influenced by the physical condition of the athlete. In sports, it has a very big influence on achievement or kickbacks, because the function of the legs is to support the body. Apart from being a support, the body also acts as an initial pusher and when the wrestler performs lifting and slamming movements. While the arm muscles in question is the ability of the arm muscles to pull and embrace the opponent so as not to be separated from mastery. The role of arm muscle strength in performing assistive slams is important because in addition it can help obtain the value of waist slams.

Abstract

This research is a descriptive analysis research with a categorization design that aims to describe the skills of herding and passing of students at the Bumi Batara Mawang Permai futsal academy, Gowa Regency. The population in this study were 75 students of the Bumi Batara Mawang Permai futsal academy, Gowa Regency. While the sample in this study were 30 core players from Bumi Batara Mawang Permai futsal academy students, Gowa Regency. The data collection techniques obtained through tests and measurements. The data analysis technique used is proportion and analysis. In this study, the results were obtained, namely the ability to dribble and pass the students of the Bumi Batara Mawang Permai Futsal Academy in Gowa Regency who often took part in training.

Abstract

Kuliah Kerja Lapangan Plus (KKLP) merupakan suatu kegiatan atau program yang harus dilaksanakan oleh semua mahasiswa STKIP YPUP Makassar sebagai bentuk implementasi Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi yaitu aspek pendidikan, penelitian dan pengabdian. Program ini merupakan sebuah bentuk penerapan pengetahuan yang telah diperoleh selama duduk dibangku perkuliahan serta sebagai wujud nyata pengabdian kepada masyarakat. Melalui program ini, mahasiswa bersama dosen pembimbing dapat melaksanakan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat khususnya di desa Bontokassi, Kecamatan Parangloe Kabupaten Gowa. Program ini kerjasama antar institusi STKIP YPUP Makassar dengan pemerintah kabupaten Gowa khususnya di desa Bontokassi, kecamatan Parangloe terjalin dengan baik. Adapun tujuan program ini adalah memberikan kegiatan pendampingan pendidikan dalam bentuk pelaksanaan kelas privat kepada siswa di SDN Bontojai dan SD Inpres Kassi. Hasil dari implementasi program tersebut memberikan gambaran bahwa para siswa menjadi lebih termotivasi dan bersemangat sehingga motivasi dan prestasi belajarnya meningkat dikelas.

Abstract

This study investigates the role of physical education in fostering positive character development among elementary school students, focusing on collaboration, discipline, responsibility, and respect. The research addresses a gap in understanding the broader impact of physical education beyond physical fitness, emphasizing its potential to shape students' social and moral values. The study was conducted at SD Negeri Mamajang 3 Makassar using a qualitative design, involving interviews with teachers and students, classroom observations, and data analysis. A total of 30 students participated in the study, representing diverse demographic backgrounds. The findings reveal that physical education significantly contributes to character development. Approximately 60% of students demonstrated a high level of collaboration, while 67% showed strong discipline in adhering to instructions and maintaining punctuality. Responsibility was evident in 40% of students who actively assumed leadership roles, and respect was the most dominant character, with 73% of students displaying respectful behavior toward peers. These results highlight the effectiveness of structured physical education programs in promoting positive character traits through teamwork-based and leadership-oriented activities. The study concludes that physical education is a critical tool for holistic student development, providing both physical and character-building benefits. However, the research is limited to a single school and primarily relies on qualitative methods, which may restrict the generalizability of the findings. Future research should explore longitudinal studies and include larger, more diverse samples to strengthen the validity and applicability of the results. Policymakers and educators are encouraged to integrate character-building strategies into physical education curricula to enhance student development comprehensively.

Abstract

This study aims to determine; (1) Is there a relationship between eye-hand coordination and smash ability; (2) Is there a relationship between arm muscle explosive power and smash ability; (3) Is there a relationship between arm muscle strength and smash ability; (4) Is there a simultaneous relationship between eye-hand coordination, arm muscle explosive power, arm muscle strength and smash ability. The population of this study was all male students of SMKN 1 Makassar. The sample used was 30 people. The sampling method used a simple random sampling technique where the sample was taken randomly. The data analysis techniques used in this study were descriptive analysis, correlation analysis, and regression analysis at a significance level of α = 0.05. The results of the study showed that; (1) There is a relationship between eye-hand coordination and smash ability with a value of r = 0.770 (P <α = 0.05). (2) There is a relationship between arm muscle explosive power and smash ability with a value of r = 0.830 (P <α = 0.05). (3) There is a relationship between arm muscle strength and smash ability with an r value of 0.803 (P < α = 0.05). (4) There is a significant relationship between hand-eye coordination, arm muscle explosive power, arm muscle strength and smash ability with an R value of 0.736 or 73.60%.

Abstract

Walking football adalah modifikasi sepak bola konvensional yang diperuntukkan bagi kelompok usia dewasa maupun lansia, dengan aturan utama yaitu larangan berlari (hanya berjalan). Olahraga ini menjadi solusi aktivitas fisik ramah cedera dan bersifat inklusif, melibatkan peserta dari berbagai latar belakang usia, gender, maupun kondisi kesehatan. Walking football hadir sebagai inovasi yang ramah usia dengan aturan khusus yang lebih inklusif. Pelaksanaan kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk mensosialisasikan dan melatih keterampilan dasar walking football (sepak bola berjalan), serta mengenalkan Persejasi (Perkumpulan Sepakbola Berjalan Seluruh Indonesia) sebagai organisasi pengembang olahraga ramah usia. Kegiatan dilakukan bersama pengurus dan anggota Persejasi dari seluruh wilayah Provinsi Sulawesi Selatan, dengan pendekatan edukasi, praktik, dan pendampingan komunitas. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pengetahuan dan minat peserta dalam menerapkan walking football sebagai alternatif olahraga sehat dan inklusif. Kegiatan ini membuktikan bahwa walking football dapat menjadi solusi olahraga alternatif yang ramah usia, murah, dan memperkuat interaksi sosial.

Abstract

Background: The long jump results achieved by students at SMPN 2 Galut, Takalar Regency, are still low. This is due to the students' lack of understanding of the importance of speed and leg muscle explosive power. This study aims to determine the contribution of speed and explosive leg muscle power to long jump ability. This study uses a quantitative research method, specifically a correlational study with a population of 125 third-year students at SMPN 2 Galut in the even semester of 2023/2024. The research sample consisted of 30 people, selected using the simple random sampling technique. The research instruments for data collection were measurements of speed using a 40-meter running test, explosive leg muscle power using a standing long jump test, and measurements of long jump ability. Data analysis was performed using statistical calculations, namely correlation coefficients. The results of the data analysis showed that speed contributed to long jump ability with a coefficient of determination (R2) = 0.614 or 61.4%, and leg muscle power with a coefficient of determination (R2) = 0.390 or 39%. Long jump ability together contributed to long jump ability with a coefficient of determination (R2) = 0.624 or 62.4%. Therefore, to improve long jump ability, students need to increase speed and leg muscle explosive power training.
