Abstract

Meta-heuristic algorithms have emerged as a powerful optimization tool for handling non-smooth complex optimization problems and also to address engineering and medical issues. However, the traditional methods face difficulty in tackling the multimodal non-linear optimization problems within the vast search space. In this paper, the Flower Pollination Algorithm has been improved using Dynamic switch probability to enhance the balance between exploitation and exploration for increasing its search ability, and the swap operator is used to diversify the population, which will increase the exploitation in getting the optimum solution. The performance of the improved algorithm has investigated on benchmark mathematical functions, and the results have been compared with the Standard Flower pollination Algorithm (SFPA), Genetic Algorithm, Bat Algorithm, Simulated annealing, Firefly Algorithm and Modified flower pollination algorithm. The ranking of the algorithms proves that our proposed algorithm IFPDSO has outperformed the above-discussed nature-inspired heuristic algorithms.

Abstract

The very rapid development of technology and the high level of human innovation have made the emergence of increasingly sophisticated technological products, one of which is the MCU node, a microcontroller system that has been integrated with various electronic modules and by using the C++ programming language, the automatic smart home control system, is one of the technological advances in the field of mechanics and electronics, both digital and analog, by integrating a smartphone as a remote to turn on and turn off certain electrical equipment using the MCU node as the main control and a link between smartphones. Remote application smart home as a media user interface for giving commands via the smartphone which will be executed by the MCU node and then the relay which will execute the electrical equipment installed at home

Abstract

Control and monitoring of water in a tank is a computer instrumentation needed in industry. This research discusses a water monitoring application in water torn automatically based on android and supported by a microcontroller. One of the developing technology fields is microcontroller technology. In designing this device, it uses a NodeMCU microcontroller as a data processor and an ultrasonic sensor as data input as well as a buzzer and servo. An ultrasonic sensor is a device that can measure the distance of an object by utilizing reflected ultrasonic waves. This water monitoring uses firebase as a database to store data. To display measurement data, the interface is also designed using the Android Studio application software in the form of graphs, pump status, and water notifications. The test results show that the ultrasonic sensor used is able to measure water levels from 2 cm to 20 cm with an average measurement error of 4.93%. Water monitoring is designed to be able to produce a system output response according to the reference value given. In addition, water level monitoring can be displayed on the Android software interactively

Abstract

NEDD Audio Production is a recording studio that provides on-site music or track recording services and track sales. The owner still uses the manual system for scheduling records and still uses social media for track sales. This causes inefficient owner performance. To create a website that provides booking services for recording schedules and purchasing tracks that can help the owner in placing the recording schedule and purchasing tracks efficiently. The design used to create a website using UML (Unified Modeling Language), which consists of Use Case Diagrams.. Meanwhile, the programming language uses PHP and MySQL as a database. The implementation of this website uses a third-party service, namely Midtrans, which is a payment gateway service provider website from Indonesia

Abstract

Nagari merupakan sebuah wadah yang memiliki peran yang sangat penting untuk mendorong masyarakatnya dalam melakukan inovasi baik dibidang ekonomi, maupun teknologi. Teknologi tersedia untuk mempermudah berbagai aktivitas dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Nagari diharapkan dapat memanfaatkan teknologi untuk membantu masyarakat dalam mengelola informasi dan data yang ada di nagari tersebut. Pengelolaan dan pengolahan data yang berhubungan dengan layanan publik di suatu nagari sangatlah penting. Data tersebut merupakan informasi yang valid yang harus diperbarui secara berkala. Nagari Ranah Pantai Cermin terletak di kecamatan Sangir Batang Hari, kabupaten Solok Selatan, provinsi Sumatera Barat. Dalam rangka meningkatkan kualitas sumber daya manusia di Nagari Ranah Pantai Cermin, Politeknik Negeri Padang melalui Pusat Penelitian dan Pengabdian akan membangun dan memberikan pelatihan tata kelola sebuah sistem yang dapat menampung dan mengelola data masyarakat di Nagari Ranah Pantai Cermin yang akan dikenal sebagai SINAR(Sistem Informasi Nagari) . SINAR adalah layanan berbasis website untuk memudahkan nagari dalam memberikan layanan kepada masyarakat, mulai dari layanan data kependudukan, layanan surat menyurat, aplikasi surat masuk dan keluar, pemetaan, pertanahan, dan lainnya.

Abstract

Nagari Salo is one of the villages in the Baso sub-district, Agam Regency. In preparing the Medium Term Development Plan (RPJM) for the Nagari, a website was created to make it easier for administrative services, to inform the activities, potential of the Nagari and the achievements of the Nagari Salo. This service activity aims to provide solutions to these problems, namely by building a village profile website and a village information system website to assist technology-based village services. To achieve the expected goals, this service is carried out in 5 stages, namely situation analysis, problem identification, determining the objectives and benefits of activities, problem solving plans and implementations, and website governance training so that the users are maximized. In addition, the team also facilitated building a Nagari online store website to help promote MSMEs in the Nagari. So that this service does not only help the nagari facilities in improving services to the community, it also improves the quality of human resources in managing the nagari towards a digital village.
