Abstract

With the growth of the customers and the expansion of the 4G LTE network in the area of Padang City, a PCI (Physical cell identity) modulo interference spot has been detected. PCI modulo interference occurs when an area is covered by two or more cells, which have a strong signal, and these cells have the same PCI modulo value. Based on the measurement results by the driving test method, the network conditions were not optimal because the SINR percentage (Signal to Interference Noise Ratio) in the good category was still low, at 9.47%, and the download throughput in the good category was 18.94%. This indicated that the interference in the area was quite high. Thus, it was necessary to do optimization action. The optimization action was taken by rotating the PCI on the site by considering the modulo value of each site so that the PCI with the same modulo did not merely lead to one location. Besides, action was taken to change the azimuth direction of cells that were too dominant. Based on the optimization process that has been carried out and the driving test activities that have been carried out again, the performance in the existing conditions has increased. The SINR percentage in the good category increased by 10%, so it became 19.47%, and the download throughput in the good category increased by 44.74% and became 63.68%.

Abstract

Much attention has been paid to large data technologies in the past few years mainly due to its capability to impact business analytics and data mining practices, as well as the possibility of influencing an ambit of a highly effective decision-making tools. With the current increase in the number of modern applications (including social media and other web-based and healthcare applications) which generates high data in different forms and volume, the processing of such huge data volume is becoming a challenge with the conventional data processing tools. This has resulted in the emergence of big data analytics which also comes with many challenges. This paper introduced the use of principal components analysis (PCA) for data size reduction, followed by SVM parallelization. The proposed scheme in this study was executed on the Spark platform and the experimental findings revealed the capability of the proposed scheme to reduce the classifiers’ classification time without much influence on the classification accuracy of the classifier.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan merancang dan membangun aplikasi virtual reality gedung jurusan Teknologi Informasi Politeknik Negeri Padang berbasis Android. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif dimana strategis yang digunakan adalah Design and Creation. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pengumpulan data observasi. Pengujian yang digunakan adalah menggunakan VR BOX. Hasil dari penelitian ini berupa aplikasi Virtual Reality Gedung Teknologi Informasi yang dapat menjadi media penyampaian informasi terhadap perguruan tinggi. Aplikasi ini sudah memvisualisasikan objek gedung beserta properti didalam gedung Teknologi Informasi, desain aplikasi menarik, informasi yang disajikan sebatas penetahuan umum. Virtual dapat berjalan dalam objek gedung dengan menggunakan kontrol pada kamera dan user mengendalikan untuk memulai atau berhenti.

Abstract

Server is a computer that serves a particular task in the network which can be used by other computers. The server damage will cause some losses in various parties who use the server services. Losses can be in the form of financial or others. The server damage can also be caused by natural disasters, such as earthquakes, floods, landslides and others. Therefore, it is necessary to create a portable server for VoIP and web server. VoIP servers are built by using asterisk as well as using the zoiper app and 3CX Phone to run VoIP.  Meanwhile, the web server is created by using sentora panel. sentora panel is used because it has an installed packet like apache, php, mysql, phpmyadmin and other supporting software, hence it does not need to install it one by one. This portable server can be taken anywhere and can also be used in various PC or Laptop. So when the natural disaster occurs, the server stay safe, and ready to use.

Abstract

The very rapid development of technology and the high level of human innovation have made the emergence of increasingly sophisticated technological products, one of which is the MCU node, a microcontroller system that has been integrated with various electronic modules and by using the C++ programming language, the automatic smart home control system, is one of the technological advances in the field of mechanics and electronics, both digital and analog, by integrating a smartphone as a remote to turn on and turn off certain electrical equipment using the MCU node as the main control and a link between smartphones. Remote application smart home as a media user interface for giving commands via the smartphone which will be executed by the MCU node and then the relay which will execute the electrical equipment installed at home

Abstract

Control and monitoring of water in a tank is a computer instrumentation needed in industry. This research discusses a water monitoring application in water torn automatically based on android and supported by a microcontroller. One of the developing technology fields is microcontroller technology. In designing this device, it uses a NodeMCU microcontroller as a data processor and an ultrasonic sensor as data input as well as a buzzer and servo. An ultrasonic sensor is a device that can measure the distance of an object by utilizing reflected ultrasonic waves. This water monitoring uses firebase as a database to store data. To display measurement data, the interface is also designed using the Android Studio application software in the form of graphs, pump status, and water notifications. The test results show that the ultrasonic sensor used is able to measure water levels from 2 cm to 20 cm with an average measurement error of 4.93%. Water monitoring is designed to be able to produce a system output response according to the reference value given. In addition, water level monitoring can be displayed on the Android software interactively

Abstract

NEDD Audio Production is a recording studio that provides on-site music or track recording services and track sales. The owner still uses the manual system for scheduling records and still uses social media for track sales. This causes inefficient owner performance. To create a website that provides booking services for recording schedules and purchasing tracks that can help the owner in placing the recording schedule and purchasing tracks efficiently. The design used to create a website using UML (Unified Modeling Language), which consists of Use Case Diagrams.. Meanwhile, the programming language uses PHP and MySQL as a database. The implementation of this website uses a third-party service, namely Midtrans, which is a payment gateway service provider website from Indonesia

Abstract

Pembangunan auto backup SQL database server bertujuan untuk menutupi kelemahan pada database Server jurusan Teknologi Informasi Politeknik Negeri Padang. Server ini menanggulangi kemungkinan terjadinya kerusakan data, kehilangan data atau kerusakan media penyimpan database. Raspberry Pi adalah mikro komputer yang digunakan sebagai backup server.  Spesifikasi yang minim dapat digunakan secara optimal untuk membangun backup server karena tidak banyak sumber daya yang sia-sia. Backup database dilakukan dengan cara menggabungkan beberapa fungsi dari komponen sistem linux rsync dan crond Job. Rsync digunakan untuk proses pengiriman data dari database server ke backup server dan crond job digunakan untuk melakukan penjadwalan terhadap proses backup. Proses backup menggunakan komponen linux ini memiliki kemungkinan kegagalan backup yang minim karena rsync akan mengulangi setiap proses backup yang gagal atau kerusakan data hasil pengiriman.

Abstract

Adolescence is a transitional period, where a teenager grows towards adulthood. What is meant by maturity is maturity in terms of emotions, ways of thinking and behaving. Currently, many things affect adolescent adolescence apart from the environment, as well as technological developments that make adolescents more negligent and forget about the tasks that have to be undertaken by adolescents. Technological developments have a very big influence on today's adolescents, apart from making them neglectful in carrying out their duties it also makes them neglectful in maintaining their health, especially physical health, where currently teenagers only focus on laptops and smartphones, while for nutrition they forget, so many teenagers today are experiencing malnutrition. This study aims to design an expert system that can help detect malnutrition in adolescents using the forward chaining method. This research is expected to help parents in tracking malnutrition in their teenagers.

Abstract

We all know that Health is important and expensive, to maintain the health of our bodies we need to take care of the organ in our body one of them is the kidney. The kidneys function to filter and remove toxins in the blood. There are still many people who don't care about their kidney health because most people do not have any symptoms until kidney disease enters an advanced stage. The medical world is increasingly using computers to assist diagnosis for prevention and treatment of a disease. One of them is the utilization of an expert system. This study aims to create an expert system that will be used to independently diagnose kidney disease without having to go to the hospital. and also aims to avoid contact with others during a pandemic.
