Abstract

Permasalahan kemiskinan di Indonesia merupakan permasalahan besar. Untuk menyelesaikan persoalan kemisikinan ini diperlukan tanggung jawab bersama dari berbagai pihak, dimulai dari pihak Pemerintah, Swasta, lembaga profersi, maupun masyarkat itu sendiri. KOMIDHUSYIAH menerapkan metode Grameen Bank. Metode Grameen Bank merupakan program penyaluran kredit mikro yang lebih ditujukan untuk masyarakat miskin yang berada di pedesaan. Sejak diluncurkan pertama kali di Bangladesh, metode Grameen Bank sudah banyak memberikan manfaat positif bagi pemanfaatnya, sehingga mengundang banyak negara untuk mengadopsi program ini termasuk Indonesia. Jika penerapannya dilakukan secara maksimal, Grameen Bank dipercaya memiliki multifungsi bagi masyarakat miskin. Grameen Bank dirasa memiliki fungsi dalam memberikan fasilitas kredit yang produktif bagi masyarakat desa. Grameen Bank dianggap cocok dengan perilaku dan sifat masyarakat desa, karena menggunakan sistem metode yang mengadospi keuangan dan sistem arisan. Selain itu Grameen Bank dapat memberikan pinjaman tanpa ditetapkan agunan, yang membuat ini lebih dilirik oleh masyarakat desa. Fungsi lainnya selain pemberian kredit, Grameen Bank memberikan pelatihan dan pengetahuan kepada masyarakat desa, baik pengetahuan mengenai kredit maupun pengelolaan modal yang baik dan benar.Melalui Metode Grameen Bank ini, diharapkan nantinya perekonomian masyarakat desa dapat menjadi lebih berkembang pesat dan lebih produktif.

Abstract

The aims of this research is knowing the use of Instagram social media and knowing the improvement of writing skills of seventh grade students of SMP N 1 Semin. This type of research uses classroom action research. The research method used is quantitative descriptive to analyse data using numbers. The subjects in this research were students of class VIIA SMP 1 Semin. The number of students was 20 children, while the object in this research was the process (implementation of the description text in teaching learning process with the help of social media namely Instagram in class VIIA SMP 1 Semin and the results (in the form of scores obtained by students during learning activities to write descriptive text skills with the help of social media Instagram). The results shows that all students, especially class VIIA SMP 1 Semin know the social media Instagram. Most of the students are active users of Instagram. Instagram media is not used properly or is not used for any of the media when they are studying. For pre-action results in skills write a description of the average score of students 55.5. In the first cycle the average value of 68 increased by 12.5, while in the second cycle the average value of 75.25 increased from the first cycle of 7.25.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to know the students’ ability in identifying passive voice and to know their opinions about the passive voice. In this research, 51 students of the 2nd semester from various study programs in ITB AAS Indonesia are involved. The result analysis shows that the students’ average is 49.71 of 100 points, the median is 46 of 100, and the students’ range scores between the 20 (as lowest score) up to 92 (the highest score). The students’ difficulties are including, 1) difficulty in changing active into passive in active, negative, and interrogative forms related to each tenses formula. 2) difficulty in adjusting verbs according to the subject (both singular and plural). 3) difficulty in changing using auxiliary verbs. 4) difficulty in identifying subject and object in sentences. 5) difficulty in changing subject pronouns to object pronouns and vice versa. 6) difficulty in changing identifying passive sentences in multiple-choice form and essay form. 7) difficulty in memorizing, using, and identifying Verb-3 both regular and irregular forms. Most students believe that active sentences are easier than passive sentences because passive sentences are related to mastery of grammar especially tenses. Passive sentences (passive voice) in English use the verb-3 (past participle) both regular and irregular verb) and the auxiliary verb will be used vary depending on the English tenses.

Abstract

The research aims to analyze the influence of English Fun Club extracurricular and learning motivation on the learning outcomes of Bahasa Inggris 2 subject of STIE AAS Surakarta students. It is assumed that the significant different in the students daily scores and semester scores is influenced by these two variables. This research is a quantitative approach using population study or census. The population of this research is the fourth semester students of STIE AAS Surakarta who take part in the English Fun Club activities, totaling 67 people in the odd semester of the 2020/2021 academic year and all of them are taken as research subjects. The data collection techniques using documentation and questionnaires. The instrument validity is tested using Product Moment and the reliability is tested using Cronbach Alpha. The data is analyzed using multiple linear regress analysis. Based on the interpretation of correlation coefficient and tested using product moment correlation formula, the results is 0.693 which proves that extracurricular activities have positive influence on learning outcomes. While the results of the partial calculation of the influence of learning motivation on the learning outcomes with regression coefficient value (b) 0.663, at a significance level of 5%, the tcount is 9.984 with a significance value of 0.000. The regression coefficient has positive value and a significance value (p) <0.05, it can be concluded that there is positive influence of learning motivation on English learning outcomes for STIE AAS Surakarta students.

Abstract

Tujuan dilakukannya pengabdian ini yaitu memberikan sosialisasi penyembelihan dan pembagian hewan qurban sesuai syariat Islam. Kegiatan pengabdian ini merupakan tindak lanjut kerjasama antara Institut Teknologi Bisnis AAS Indonesia ke beberapa mitra pengabdian. Kebetulan dalam pengabdian ini Institut Teknologi Bisnis AAS Indonesia bekerjasama dengan Bani Sutardi di Pulutan, Desa Kebonan, Kecamatan Karanggede, Kabupaten Boyolali yang kebetulan rutin melaksanakan kegiatan qurban saat Idul Adha. Metode pelaksanaan pengabdian ini dilakukan dengan tutorial penyampaian materi terkait penyembelihan hewan qurban yang sesuai dengan syariat Islam, kemudian dilanjutkan dengan penyembelihan dan pembagian daging qurban kepada masyarakat disekitarnya. Waktu pelaksanaan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertepatan langsung dengan Idul Adha Tahun 2022 yaitu pada tanggal 10 Juli 2022 dimana dalam kalender akademik terhitung masuk Semester Genap 2021/2022. Hasil pengabdian masyarakat ini menunjukkan bahwa: a). proses sosialisasi penyembelihan hewan qurban sesuai syariat Islam dan dilanjutkan dengan pembagian daging qurban yang dilaksanakan mendapatkan dukungan dari banyak pihak, mulai dari institusi khususnya LPPM Institut Teknologi Bisnis AAS Indonesia, keluarga besar Bani Sutardi, panitia pelaksana qurban dan masyarakat sekitar; b). Pelaksanaan penyembelihan yang dilakukan sudah sesuai ketentuan syariat Islam; c). Pembagian hewan qurban dapat berjalan lancar dan mencukupi. Implikasi dari kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini yaitu masyakarat semakin memahami tata cara penyembelihan yang benar sesuai syariat Islam serta mereka memahami kewajiban melaksanakan qurban bagi yang mampu sebagai wujud ketaatan kepada Allah SWT dan Rasulnya.

Abstract

Sosialisasi Sistem Informasi Akuntansi Yayasan Di Yayasan Mitra Husada Karanganyar bertujuan untuk membantu dan mendukung dalam memberikan informasi dalam perencanaan, pengorganisasian dan operasional keuangan yayasan, serta dalam proses pengendalian pengambilan keputusan yayasan. Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilaksanakan pada tanggal 9 September 2022 yang diikuti oleh Pengurus Yayasan Mitra Husada Karanganyar. Kegiatan pengabdian ini berjalan dengan lancar sesuai dengan perencanaan. Sedangkan metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah dengan melakukan sosialisasi dan diskusi yang berkaitan dengan materi Sistem Informasi Akuntansi Yayasan. Hasil dari kegiatan ini adalah para peserta lebih mengetahui tentang penggunaan Sistem Informasi Akuntansi Yayasan guna mencapai kinerja keuangan yang transparent dan akuntabel.

Abstract

This research investigates the impact of interactive learning technology on the English language proficiency of Informatics students at ITB AAS Indonesia. A quasi-experimental design was employed, involving an experimental group that utilized interactive learning technology and a control group that received conventional instruction. The findings reveal a significant improvement in the English language skills of the experimental group, highlighting the effectiveness of interactive technology in enhancing listening, speaking, reading, and writing abilities. Additionally, the study demonstrates that interactive learning tools positively influence students' motivation and engagement, aligning with theories such as the Cognitive Theory of Multimedia Learning (CTML), Self-Determination Theory (SDT), and Cognitive Load Theory (CLT). The research underscores the potential of integrating interactive technology into non-language focused programs, providing practical insights for educators and institutions seeking to innovate English language instruction in higher education. Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat dengan judul "Edukasi Lingkungan Bersama: Gerakan Hijau di Sekitar Kampus ITB AAS Indonesia" bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kesadaran dan partisipasi masyarakat, khususnya mahasiswa dan penduduk sekitar kampus, dalam menjaga kelestarian lingkungan. Program ini berfokus pada penyuluhan tentang pentingnya menjaga lingkungan, pelatihan praktik-praktik ramah lingkungan, serta pelaksanaan aksi nyata untuk menciptakan lingkungan yang lebih hijau dan bersih. Kegiatan ini mencakup serangkaian aktivitas seperti seminar dan workshop tentang pengelolaan sampah, penanaman pohon di area kampus dan sekitarnya, serta kampanye pengurangan penggunaan plastik. Selain itu, program ini juga melibatkan mahasiswa dalam proyek penelitian sederhana terkait dampak lingkungan dan pemanfaatan sumber daya alam secara berkelanjutan. Melalui "Gerakan Hijau di Sekitar Kampus ITB AAS Indonesia," diharapkan terbentuk komunitas yang lebih peduli lingkungan, serta tercipta budaya ramah lingkungan yang dapat diterapkan secara berkelanjutan. Dampak jangka panjang dari kegiatan ini adalah peningkatan kualitas lingkungan hidup di sekitar kampus dan pembentukan karakter mahasiswa yang lebih bertanggung jawab terhadap lingkungan

Abstract

This study investigates the challenges and strategies in teaching English to non-English majors, specifically within business and accounting programs at Institut Teknologi Bisnis AAS Indonesia. Using a qualitative case study approach, the research explores the perspectives of both instructors and students to identify key difficulties and effective practices. The study reveals that student motivation is a significant challenge, with many students perceiving English as peripheral to their main field of study. To address this issue, instructors have integrated business-related content into the English curriculum, enhancing relevance and engagement. Additionally, the research highlights the diversity in student proficiency levels, which necessitates the use of differentiated instruction and peer-assisted learning to cater to varying needs. The integration of technology and blended learning approaches has been beneficial but also presents challenges related to access and instructor proficiency. Institutional support for resources, collaboration between language and subject-matter experts, and continuous professional development are crucial for overcoming these challenges. The findings offer insights into improving English language education for non-English majors and provide recommendations for educators and institutions.
