Abstract

This research aims to optimize database management for individuals with disabilities in Sukoharjo Regency, by utilizing a Management Information System (SIM) that uses the CodeIgniter framework. The case study was conducted at the SEHATI Disabled Community, involving 50 community members with various types of disabilities. An evaluation of member needs and expectations revealed a desire for better accessibility, efficient recording of activities, and better management of health information. The implemented system includes member registration, activity management, medical records, and responsive interface design to achieve universal accessibility. Testing and performance evaluations show increased efficiency and user satisfaction. Conclusions and recommendations involve continued training, feature improvements based on feedback, and further implementation of security policies. Abstract

Tujuan dan target dari kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah dengan adanya kegiatan ini dapat menambah pengetahuan dan keterampilan kepada masyarakat khususnya UMKM UPPKS Kartini tentang pajak. Dengan pengetahuan yang cukup, maka peserta dapat mengetahui mendapatkan NPWP, membayar pajak, dan melakukan kewajiban perpajakan lainnya. Mitra dalam kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah anggota UPPKS Kartini. UPPKS Kartini adalah UMKM yang terletak di Desa Ngoto, Kecamatan Kiswantoro Kabupaten Wonogiri. Untuk mencapai tujuan dan target program PKM ini, maka mitra akan diberi pelatihan di Balai Desa Ngroto. Target luaran yang diharapkan adalah masyarakat teredukasi untuk melakukan kewajiban perpajakan sebagaimana mestinya.

Abstract

This research investigates the impact of interactive learning technology on the English language proficiency of Informatics students at ITB AAS Indonesia. A quasi-experimental design was employed, involving an experimental group that utilized interactive learning technology and a control group that received conventional instruction. The findings reveal a significant improvement in the English language skills of the experimental group, highlighting the effectiveness of interactive technology in enhancing listening, speaking, reading, and writing abilities. Additionally, the study demonstrates that interactive learning tools positively influence students' motivation and engagement, aligning with theories such as the Cognitive Theory of Multimedia Learning (CTML), Self-Determination Theory (SDT), and Cognitive Load Theory (CLT). The research underscores the potential of integrating interactive technology into non-language focused programs, providing practical insights for educators and institutions seeking to innovate English language instruction in higher education. Abstract

This research aims to investigate the effect of using adaptive learning applications on improving student learning achievement in English courses at the AAS Indonesia Institute of Business Technology. Adaptive learning applications are technologies that enable the delivery of learning materials tailored to the needs and level of understanding of individual learners. This research method uses an experimental design with a control group and a treatment group. The research sample consisted of two groups of students who enrolled in English courses in a particular semester. One group was given access to an adaptive learning application, while the control group used conventional learning methods. Learning achievement data was collected from the evaluation results of assignments, exams, and tests conducted during the research period. Statistical analysis was used to compare learning achievement results between the control and treatment groups after the learning period ended. The results of this study are expected to provide further understanding of the effectiveness of adaptive learning applications in improving student learning achievement in English courses. The implications of these findings can be an important reference for educational institutions and the development of adaptive learning technology in the future. Abstract

This research focuses on developing a rainfall prediction system using the Backpropagation Artificial Neural Network (JST) method. The system is designed to predict future rainfall intensity by utilizing four main parameters: air temperature, air humidity, wind speed, and air pressure. Accurate rainfall prediction is essential in various fields, such as agriculture, transportation, and industry. Traditional systems for predicting rainfall are often unable to provide accurate and timely information. Backpropagation JST offers a promising solution to overcome this limitation. The rainfall prediction system developed using Backpropagation JST shows satisfactory performance. The system is able to predict rainfall intensity with a high degree of accuracy. These findings suggest that the Backpropagation JST-based rainfall prediction system can be a valuable tool for various sectors that require accurate and timely rainfall information. The system has the potential to improve efficiency and effectiveness in various activities, such as irrigation planning, disaster risk management, and industrial operations. This research can be extended by exploring other JST methods to improve prediction accuracy. In addition, this research can be implemented in other regions with different climatic conditions to test the generalizability of the system.

Abstract

This research is a qualitative research using a type of phenomenology. This study aims to describe the use of the Ministry of Education and Culture's Learning House Portal in the learning process at Vocational High Schools. The sampling technique used in this study was purposive sampling using the research subjects as teachers who had used the Ministry of Education and Culture's Learning House Portal in the learning process in class. The data collection technique used was through observation, containing the impact of learning observations and teacher interviews regarding the use of the learning house portal, learning activities and steps taken by teachers in utilizing the Ministry of Education and Culture learning home portal as an online learning model in Vocational High Schools. The research was conducted in the State Vocational High School 3 Sukoharjo. the impact of the research shows that the learning steps carried out by the teacher in utilizing the Ministry of Education and Culture's Learning House portal are started based on the preparation and implementation of learning which contains the opening activities, the core and the epilogue of learning. Some of the features that teachers have used in learning are learning resources, electronic school books (BSE), and question banks. The methods used by teachers in utilizing the learning home portal as an example of online learning during the learning process can be grouped into (1) Presentations/Demonstrations, (2) Small group discussions & (3) Individual Learning. Abstract

Teknologi Informasi merupakan salah satu media yang efektif didalam mengelola informasi di instansi pendidikan. Penggunaan internet juga mulai meningkat dibidang pendidikan terutama di era pandemi korona(covid-19). Penggunaan ini tidak hanya sekedar tentang informasi di internet saja, tetapi juga sebagai media promosi/publikasi dalam meningkatkan mutu dan kualitas suatu badan instansi pendidikan. SMK Pelita Bangsa membutuhkan website untuk media promosi/publikasi ke masyarakat. Sudah selayaknya lembaga pendidikan memiliki website sebagai sarana komunikasi antara badan instansi sekolah dengan masyarakat. Website juga bisa menjadi pusat informasi bagi pengunjung dan mereka yang ingin mengetahui tentang kondisi di sekolahan tersebut. Oleh karena itu perlu adanya Perancangan Sistem Informasi berupa website sekolah di SMK Pelita Bangsa mengingat makin berkembangnya penggunaan dan pemanfaatan internet di era pandemi korona(covid-19) ini. Website sekolahan ini dibuat dengan bahasa pemprograman HTML, PHP, MySQL. Sistem informasi ini diharapkan dapat membantu dalam promosi dan sebagai media informasi SMK Pelita Bangsa.

Abstract

Para petani masih sering mengalami kendala pada proses pemeliharaan tanaman cabai, petani masih sering menemui kendala penyakit sehingga sangat merugikan petani karena hasil panen yang tidak maksimal. Kurangnya pengetahuan petani cabai terhadap penyakit cabai dan cara penanggulangannya masih menjadi permasalahan dalam proses pemeliharaan tanaman cabai. Perancangan interface sistem pakar diagnosa penyakit tanaman cabai ini menggunakan metode alur maju (forward chaining) sebagai representasi pengetahuan permasalan. Sistem pakar tanaman cabai menggunakan metode Extreme Programing (XP) yang telah disesuaikan pada penyakit tanaman cabai dengan jumlah 15 gejala, 5 penyakit, dan 5 solusi. Sistem Pakar tanaman cabai ini dibuat dengan bahasa pemrograman PHP (Hypertext Prepocessor) dan berbasis web sehingga dapat di jalankan pada browser apapun tanpa harus menginstall aplikasinya. Adapun kesimpulan yang diperoleh yaitu aplikasi system pakar ini dapat memudahkan petani cabai agar dapat memahami bagaimana cara mendiagnosa dan penanganan penyakit pada saat menanam tanaman cabai.

Abstract

Toko Emas Purnama faces challenges in building an efficient, secure, and operationally appropriate internet network infrastructure, particularly to support digital systems such as cloud-based transactions, internal communication, IP Cameras, and hotspot services for customers. This research discusses the implementation of a Mikrotik-based hotspot network at the Purnama Gold Shop area using the PPDIOO (Prepare, Plan, Design, Implement, Operate, and Optimize) method. The objective is to provide a stable, secure, and efficient internet network to support both operational activities and customer needs within the store environment. The PPDIOO methodology is employed as a systematic approach to network planning and deployment, covering the stages from requirement preparation to system performance optimization. The results show that the Mikrotik-based hotspot network offers reliable connectivity with improved bandwidth management and security. Through the PPDIOO method, the network system is developed in a structured and efficient manner, enhancing digital service quality at the Purnama Gold Shop.

Abstract

Transformasi digital di bidang kesehatan mendorong adopsi Rekam Medis Elektronik (RME), namun banyak tenaga medis belum memahami penggunaannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan meningkatkan kemampuan para tenaga kesehatan dengan cara melakukan sosialisasi dan pelatihan mengenai RME. Metode yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Partisipatif (PAR) yang dirancang melalui pendekatan edukatif yang meliputi sesi ceramah, simulasi, serta evaluasi menggunakan pre-test dan post-test. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman, dengan skor rata-rata pre-test sebesar 59 yang meningkat menjadi 86 pada post-test, menunjukkan peningkatan sebesar 43%. Selain itu, 92% peserta menyatakan lebih percaya diri dalam mengoperasikan ERM setelah mengikuti sosialisasi ini.
