Abstract

Leadership plays an important role in an organization in an effort to improve achievement and employee performance and employee at the group level or at the organizational level, because performance is not only highlights the technical side but also highlights the work group and managerial as well as the motivation is the driving force that created the excitement of a person so that they would cooperate, to work effectively and integrated with all its efforts to achieve satisfaction. The results show the existence of mutual relationships and significant influence among some other variable data data also showed that the variables affecting leadership, and motivation to employee performance that stated at the percentage of 90.0%, while the remaining 10.0% described or influenced by other factors.

Abstract

Urban Poverty Project (P2KP) one answer to the problems of poverty in urban areas, through P2KP government provides financial assistance to implement the process of community empowerment and continuous learning. One type of economic activity from P2KP is rolling, that is allocated funds for lending activities to the poor in order to form a new business or expand an existing business, with its implementation involving the relevant communities. The purpose of this study is, to determine the influence of economic funds rolling P2KP to increased community empowerment Lumajang, to find strengths and weaknesses of the implementation of economic revolving fund in Lumajang P2KP. To answer this research purpose, then there are some indicators that the number of SHGs and SHG members, the value of revolving loans disbursed, the health management of revolving loans, development revolving loan coverage to low-income communities, the status of the audit by an independent auditing agency. The result is 4 (four) indicator shows the success and significant impact on increasing community empowerment, while indicators of health levels are still less than satisfactory. But overall economy revolving fund in Lumajang P2KP show success in increasing community empowerment. In addition to these successes there are some weaknesses, especially regarding the ability of human resources.

Abstract

Business services internet cafes are also very rampant in the city of Malang, a town in East Java Province. Consumers from Internet cafes are students, students and the general public. On the basis of this, the study tries to examine further the analysis of service quality and consumer satisfaction with Internet cafes in Malang using 5 dimensions of service quality. The highest rating in a row contained in the dimension of assurance, reliability, empathy, responsiveness, and tangible. When viewed under score gap that occurs, consumers are Internet cafes in Malang not satisfied with the quality of that which they receive service. Based on the analysis concluded that consumer expectations of service quality in tangible dimensions, reliability, responsiveness, assurance and empathy into the criteria is expected. Consumer assessment of current conditions of service in Malang Internet cafes in the fifth dimension into the criteria of service quality Fine. However, there is a negative score gap between consumer ratings and their expectations are defined as consumer dissatisfaction towards the quality of service internet cafes they have received.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the potential for competitive advantage and weaknesses which is a priority improvement strategy to achieve excellence in B29 natural tourism in Lumajang. B29 nature tourism in Lumajang is located in Senduro District in Lumajang. By using lean six sigma data analysis techniques on 30 respondents, this study netted the opinions of respondents based on the perceptions, hopes and interests of the people who visited the natural tourism B29 in Lumajang. The questionnaire was first tested for validity and reliability. The results of the study found that the advantages possessed by B29 nature tourism are located at community friendliness, natural beauty and adventure opportunities, while the priority of improvement is the availability of medical assistance, public facilities, electricity, clean water and communication networks. Future research is expected to be able to research with the same method to find competitive advantage in other objects

Abstract

The study aims to form a bankruptcy prediction model of rural bank in Indonesia at a time variation of 1 quarter (MP1), 2 quarters (MP2), 4 quarters (MP4), and 8 quarters (MP8) before bankruptcy. The quality of productive assets as a predictor variable consist of CEA, CEAEA, and NPL. The condition of rural bank bankrupt and non bankrupt as a dependent variable. The analytical method used is logistic regression followed by testing the model accuration. The population of this study is rural bank in Indonesia. The sample used was 241 rural banks that consist of 41 bankrupt rural banks and 200 non bankrupt rural banks. The data used are the quarterly financial statements of 2006 to 2019. The study result showed that of the four prediction models that successfully built, the 1 quarter (MP1) is the most feasible and accurate used as bankruptcy prediction model of rural banks in Indonesia that formed by CEAEA and NPL ratio. The MP1 has a classification accuracy of 93,8% at the level of modelling with cut off point of 0,29 and it has a classification accuracy of 83,93% at the level of validation with cut off point of 0,12. Based on those advantage, the MP1 was chosen as a model that able to predict the bankruptcy of rural bank in Indonesia.

Abstract

Kemandirian ekonomi adalah salah satu jawaban untuk menghadapi kompetisi di era global sehinga masyarakat mampu keluar dari kemiskinan dan keterbelakangan.Peluang kerja yang terbatas menuntut sumber daya lokal agar memiliki kemampuan dalam membuka lapangan kerja sendiri dengan mengolah sumber daya yang ada melalui inovasi dan perbaikan-perbaikan yang berkelanjutan.Berangkat dari alasan inilah maka muncul ketertarikan untuk bermitra dengan UKM “Klapan Jaya” di Kelurahan Jogotrunan Kabupaten Lumajang. UKM “Klapan Jaya” merupakan kelompok usaha yang terdiri dari berbagai macam usaha dari sekelompok orang yang memiliki usaha kecil di Kelurahan Jogotrunan Kecamatan Lumajang Kabupaten Lumajang.Kelompok UKM ini belum begitu mampu menggerakkan usahanya yang dapat menciptakan lapangan pekerjaan bagi masyarakat di sekitarnya.Pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini mencapai target yaitu (1) Peningkatan ketrampilan mitra dalam menjalankan usahanya dengan berkelanjutan, (2) Terbentuk pemahaman dan kemampuan sumber daya manusia dalam menciptakan lapangan pekerjaan bagi masyarakat sekitarnya dan (3) Peningkatan strategi pemasaran agar mampu bersaing dalam memasarkan produknya.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of credit position and third party funds on bank profits both partially and simultaneously. The next goal is also to find out whether non-performing loans can be a mediator between the influence of credit positions and third party funds on bank profits. The research was conducted at the rural Bank in Lumajang consisting of 6 (six) banks. The analytical technique used is path analysis by testing the first substructure and the second substructure. Samples in the form of quarterly reports as many as 6 periods from 2015 to 2017, so the number of samples is 36 quarterly reports. The results of the study state that the credit position has a significant effect on non-performing loans, third party funds have no significant effect on non-performing loans, simultaneously the position of credit and third party funds have a significant effect on non-performing loans. The next result is the position of credit, third party funds, and non-performing loans does not have a significant effect on bank profits, but simultaneously all three have a significant effect on bank profits. Non-performing loans apparently also cannot be a mediator of the influence of credit positions and third party funds on bank profits. Future research is expected to examine other variables that influence bank profits

Abstract

The economic development and basic human needs that must be fulfilled triggered the existence of entrepreneurs group, both by productive and non-productive community. In general, because it is managed in a family or household environment, sometimes the management tends to be less serious and confused between family and business finances. From this reason, there was an interest in partnering with a honey business “Fresh Bee” owner namely Bhella Shely Afrilianti in Sumbersuko, Lumajang regency. The partner runs its business to help her family economy. The passion of partner in developing this business should be appreciated, however it requires the ability to face similar business which is quite rife. In raising Klanceng honey requires natural land because this is the advantage of Klanceng bees that its food also naturally sourced so that the honey are very high quality and a great interest to the community. The need for land is what makes this family need capital access to fulfill it. The weakness of partner mostly on financial governance which is still mixed with family finances. The implementation of this community service activity achieved the target, (1) the partner’s skill improvement in running its business in sustainable manner, (2) a simple orderly and healthy administration, which mean it is able to separate household and business finances and (3) get capital assistance from financial institutions. The intensive assistance and supervision to the partner need to be done periodically and not stop until the completion of this program. Therefore, the activeness of the team and the ranks of STIE Widya Gama Lumajang community in providing guidance to this partner needs to be carried out continuously.

Abstract

Home Industry is the smallest unit in a series of existing types of business, where household industries are generally managed independently as a family with the aim of increasing household income. The challenges for this home industry are also not easy. In general, because it is managed in a family environment or in one's own household, sometimes the management tends to be careless and mixed up between family finances and business finances. Starting from this reason, there is an interest in partnering with Hj's home industry salted egg "Maya". Umi Pristiwani in Jogotrunan Village, Lumajang Regency. Partners run their businesses whose main purpose is to help their families' economies. However, until now this partner has only been running his business as he is and has no brand, which means that he does not have a product identity but has a strong desire to move forward. Often partner businesses lose out in competing with other similar businesses. Partners are also not yet able to run their businesses that can create jobs for the surrounding community. The implementation of this community service activity achieves targets, namely (1) building understanding and awareness of the importance of brands for salted egg products, (2) improving partners' skills in running their businesses in a sustainable manner, (3) establishing understanding and the ability of human resources in creating jobs for the surrounding community, and (4) increasing marketing strategies so that they are able to compete in marketing their products. Intensive assistance and supervision to program partners needs to be carried out periodically and does not stop until the completion of this program, therefore the activity of the team and the staff of STIE Widya Gama Lumajang in providing guidance to these partners needs to be carried out on an ongoing basis.

Abstract

During the pandemic that not only hit the world but also in Indonesia, there are lot of businesses that went bankrupt. Many businesses are unable to survive the impact of this pandemic, especially small businesses. Our target partner is a home culinary business namely “Dapur Mumpuni”. In addition to selling food, Dapur Mumpuni is currently able to get creative with its innovative pukis cake during the pandemic. The partner has several weaknesses which are (1) limited partner skills in economic management, (2) no bookkeeping regularly, (3) no separation between household and business finances and (4) weak marketing strategy used, resulting in little profit and business is not well developed because it tends to lose in the competition. This community service activity is expected to create targets in accordance with partner expectations namely (1) increasing the partner skills in running its business economically and sustainable, (2) a simple orderly administration, in the sense of being able to separate household and business finances, (3) selling profit increase of effective activity economically and (4) get financial assistance for additional business capital
