Abstract

The  research  objective  is  to  describe  contextual-based  math  learning management,  which  includes  planning,  implementation  and  evaluation  as  well  as describe  the  constraints  of  experienced  math  teachers  in  the  implementation  of contextual-based mathematics  learning at SMK Negeri 3 Klaten. The research method used  is  descriptive  qualitative  research,  research  data  on  the  implementation  of contextual learning was collected using interviews, observation and documentation. It is concluded in conclusion: (1) Planning learning early in the learning of mathematics held by preparing syllabi and lesson plans, (2) implementation of contextual learning mathematics in SMK Negeri 3 Klaten is not optimal, (3) Ratings are not only assess the  final  outcome  but  also  to  assess  the  process.  Implementation  of  learning mathematics is not optimal constrained by: (1) Teachers do not fully understand and master the contextual learning, (2) Teachers difficulties when learning material linked with the life situation that is already known by the student, (3) Teachers still tend to use the lecture method, although teachers have learned a variety of learning methods.Kata Kunci: contextual, learning, management

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kedisiplinan kehadiran masuk kelas melalui Konseling Individu berbasis studi kasus bagi siswa kelas X  IPS 2   SMA Negeri 4 Magelang Semester Genap.Tahun 2017/2018. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas. Subyek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X IPS2 SMA Negeri4 Magelang Semester Genap Tahun 2017/2018 yang berjumlah 32 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan observasi. Wawancara dan studi dukumentasi Pada penelitian ini terdiri dari dua siklus. Tenik analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan kedisiplinan kehadiran masuk kelas pada kondisi awal rata-rata 14,4 meningkat menjadi 15,4 pada siklus I dan 16,1 pada siklus II.

Abstract

One of the problems in learning PPKn (Civics) is that the results of learning Civics on Regional Characteristics whithin the framework of the Unitary State Of the republic of Indonesia are not ideal,indicator of statement is seen from the results of daily assessments that most student have not reached the KKM standar. To overcome this problem, a Classroom Action Research (PTK) was conducted using the Discovery Learning method with the Snowball Throwing model. The purpose of this study is the improve the learning outcomes of civics on Regional Characteristics within the framework of the unitary state of the Republic of Indonesia,through the discovery learning model of the Snowball Throwing model in class VII B student of SMP Negeri 2 Mungkid in the 2021/2022 academoc year. The subject were 31 student, the research data sources, were obtained from qualitative data the from data from observations of theacher and student activities and quantitative data in the from of tst data students learning outcomes. The results of the fist cycle research obtained that 17 student, who completed individually, with classical compleceted 55% with an average value of 77. While in results of the research in cycle II increased with number of students who completed as many as 31 students with a 100% compleceted percentage with an average value of 94 based on the results of study. Learning using the discovery Learning method of the Snowball Throwing mode can improve the learning outcome of class VII B grade students of SMP Negeri 2 Mungkid school year 2021/2022.
