Abstract

Dengan demikian motivasi belajar dan efikasi diri berpengaruh secara serentak atau bersama-sama terhadap prestasi belajar matematika semester ganjil peserta didik kelas VII SMPN 27 Makassar.ABSTRAKThis study aims to determine the effect of learning motivation and self-efficacy on mathematics learning achievement in the odd semester of seventh-grade students of SMPN 27 Makassar individually and simultaneously. The research method used is ex post facto with a dual paradigm design. The sampling technique used was cluster sampling with a total sample of 44 students. The instruments used were a learning motivation questionnaire, a self-efficacy questionnaire, and documentation in the form of an archive of mathematics odd semester grades for the 2019/2020 school year. The data analysis technique used is descriptive statistics and inferential statistics multiple linear regression tests. Based on the individual hypothesis test using a t-test with a significant level = 0.05 for learning motivation, the Sig. 0.036 <0.05. For self-efficacy, the Sig. 0.00 <0.05, all H0 are rejected, which means learning motivation and self-efficacy have an individual effect on mathematics learning achievement in odd semesters. Based on the hypothesis test simultaneously using the F test with a significant level = 0.05, the Sig. 0.00 <0.05. Thus learning motivation and self-efficacy affect simultaneously or together with the mathematics learning achievement of the odd semester students of class VII SMPN 27 Makassar.

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to determine the comparative mathematics learning outcomes of students using the method of Giving Question and Getting Answer and Learning Start with A Question to students of class X MAN Baraka. This type of research is a quasi-experimental study, with pretest-posttest control group design research design. The population in this study is all students of class X MIA MAN Baraka consisting of 4 classes with a total of 126 students. The sample in this study was chosen by using simple random sampling technique to obtain 2 classes as an experimental class with the total sample of 60 students. The result of descriptive analysis shows that the average value of pre-test of mathematics learning result of grade X students of MAN Baraka using Giving Question and Getting Answer method and Learning Start with A Question is 64.01 and 65,34. While the average value of post-test of mathematics learning result of grade X student of MAN Baraka using Giving Question and Getting Answer method and Learning Start with A Question is 73,48 and 93,05. Furthermore, based on the results of statistical analysis using Independent Test Sample test which shows the sig value. (2-tailed) on the post-test of 0.010. The sig value. (2-tailed) is smaller than the specified significant value (α = 0.05). Thus the comparison is Sig. (2-tailed) <α or (0,010 <0,05). This shows that there is a comparison of students' mathematics learning result using Giving Question and Getting Answer method and Learning Start with A Question to the students of X class of MAN Baraka.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the basic teaching skills of PPL students majoring in mathematics education in implementing the field experience program (PPL). This type of research is descriptive research with a qualitative approach. The research was conducted at MTs Madani Alauddin with subjects consisting of 6 students from class of 2014 Mathematics Education Study Program. Data collection was carried out using observation, interview, and documentation techniques. The data is then grouped into primary data and secondary data. Primary data comes from observations and interviews, while secondary data is obtained from documentation studies. The results showed that mathematics education students had fairly good skills in terms of opening lessons, explaining, asking questions, giving reinforcement, making variations, managing classes, guiding discussions, and closing lessons. However, in a number of indicators, students' mathematics education is not optimal, such as attracting attention, giving references/instructions, carrying out variations on teaching methods and variations on tools, attracting the use of methods and mastery of competencies, dividing attention, and evaluating indicators. There are several indicators that are not optimal because student knowledge about the 8 indicators of basic teaching skills is still lacking and preparation is not mature enough.
