Abstract

ABSTRACT   The purpose of this study is to determine the determinants of dimensions (factor) business performance of Muslim entrepreneurs in Southeast Sulawesi in running a sustainable and competitive advantages. The specific objective is to find a model of alternative business performance measurement of Muslim entrepreneurs which is the development model of Balance Scorecard implementation (BSC) by incorporating the factors of shariah (worship and lawful approach). The method used in this research is Exploratory Factor analysis and qualitative analysis. Sampling method is non-probability sampling with sample size of 10 x 12 variables = 120 sample members (Roscue approach in Sugiyono: 2012). Methods of data collection using in-depth interviews and questionnaires as well as secondary data. Based on the the results of research and discussion it can be concluded that there are 3 main factors that form the dimensions of micro-small business performance is integrated business strategy factors, Internal Business Targets & External Encouragement and Islamic Business Practice Factor. these three dimensions can shape the performance of small micro-enterprises in Muslim entrepreneurs in Southeast Sulawesi about 65%. Thus the integration of the business orientation with the material approach to business practices based on muamalah principles in Islam (Halal orientation and worship) can improve the performance of competitive and sustainable SMEs.Keywords                   : Business Performance Dimension, development of BSC model, Muslim EntrepreneursCorrespondence to       : lalimusa@gmail.com, rahmanfisip@gmail.com, stzakiah132@gmail.com

Abstract

The Effect of Job Performance and Employee Competence on Job Promotion at the Regional Development Planning, Research and Development Agency (Bappelitbangda) Takalar Regency. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of job performance and employee competence on job promotion at the Regional Development Planning, Research and Development Agency (Bappelitbangda) Takalar Regency. The population in this study were 37 permanent employees at the Regional Development Planning, Research and Development Agency (Bappelitbangda) Takalar Regency and 37 employees at the same time as a sample. The methods in collecting data in this study are questionnaires, observations, and interviews. Methods of data analysis using descriptive methods and inferential statistical methods, namely by using multiple linear regression statistical methods to measure the effect of work performance and competence of employees on job promotion at the Regional Development Planning, Research and Development Agency (Bappelitbangda) Takalar Regency. Based on the F test and t test the independent variables (Job Performance and Employee competence) jointly and partially have a positive and significant effect on the dependent variable (Job Promotion). Through testing the correlation coefficient (R), it was found that the level of correlation between Job Performance and Employee Competence on Job Promotion was a strong relationship, namely 68.2%, while the remaining 31.8% was influenced by other factors.

Abstract

This study aims to present the results of a case study on stakeholders' perceptions of community participation in village development activities around mining area in a village in Central Sulawesi. Data were collected from 12 participants through in-depth interviews. Using content analysis and community participation in development as analytical framework, the results of data analysis depict that the community acknowledges the village government’s various efforts to encourage community participation through community development and community involvement in village development. However, the community involvement in village development is still lacking due to limited villagers’ participation. One of the reliant factors for the low participation is because most of the residents are mining workers.

Abstract

Penggunaan teknologi informasi menjadi hal yang sangat penting untuk mendukung di dalam proses pemerintahan, khususnya dalam penerapan sistem absensi online untuk mengawasi kehadiran pegawai. Teknologi inilah yang sedang di terapkan di sekretariat kota kendari yang di mana bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kedisiplinan ASN dan menigkatkan kinerja ASN. Metode dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif deskripsi dengan metode pengambilan data berupa observasi,wawancara, dokumentasi dan studi pustaka. Kemudian data yang telah di peroleh di anasis dan di olah. berdasarkan hasil analisis yang telah di lakukan dengan melihat hasil rekapitulasi absensi 3 bulan terkahir yaitu juli, agustus,dan september di peroleh hasil bahwa absensi online sudah sangat efektif dalam meningkatkan kedisiplinan baik datang dan pulang kantor untuk aparatus sipil negara (ASN) Di Kantor Sekretariat Kota Kendari. Kemudian penerapan absensi online yang di dukung dengan website SI-TPPNS yang berfungsi untuk merekam kinerja ASN  juga telah berjalan baik dan mampu membuat ASN menjadi disiplin dalam bekerja.

Abstract

The implementation of Law Number 6 of 2014 has provided opportunities for village governments to realize independence in the field of development. This policy demands readiness by the village government to be able to manage village finances so that it can be realized according to the mandate of the regulation. This study describes the ability of the village government in managing village funds in Mendikonu Village, Amonggedo District, Konawe Regency. The research approach is qualitative, where data is collected through observation and interviews. Furthermore, the data were analyzed qualitatively with a descriptive description to answer the research problem. The findings in the study show that the ability of the apparatus in the process of managing village funds starting from financial planning, financial implementation, financial administration, and financial accountability has been running, although not yet optimally. This is due to the limited ability of village government officials and fund managers, especially in terms of knowledge, skills and attitudes.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui orientasi mahasiswa dalam pemilihan lapangan pekerjaan terkhusus mahasiswa Jurusan Sosiologi Fakultas Ilmu Sosial dan Ilmu Politik Universitas Halu Oleo. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif yang menggunakan unit analisis populasi dan sampel dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi. Analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisi deskriptif kualitatif. Mahasiswa Sosiologi Fakultas Ilmu Sosial dan Ilmu Politik (FISIP) Universitas Halu Oleo dalam memilih lapangan kerja yang paling diminati pertama, adalah Pegawai Negeri Sipil (PNS) dengan jumlah 51 orang responden atau 29% dari jumlah data ini mengindikasikan bahwa menjadi Pegawai Negeri Sipil (PNS)  adalah yang dibamba-dambakan oleh kebanyakan responden. Hal tersebut dipengaruhi oleh berbagai faktor yaitu mendapat tunjangan hari tua dan mempunyai gaji tetap. Yang paling diminati kedua, adalah BUMN berjumlah 45 orang responden atau 25% dari jumlah tersebut berdasarkan alasan beberapa responden yang memilih berkerja di BUNM, dengan bekerja di  BUNM mendapat dukungan dan jaminan dari negara, serta kelangsungan hidup perusahaan terjamin.

Abstract

Research aim: This paper aims to identify important influences on the company performance of Muslim business owners in Southeast Sulawesi, Indonesia, using a balanced scorecard development approach incorporating Islamic values and business practices.Design/Methodology/Approach: The research design used a quantitative approach called Exploratory Factor analysis through SPSS. The sampling technique was purposive sampling with 120 samples (Muslim entrepreneurs), with data collected through a survey questionnaire.Research findings: Three significant factors determining the business performance of Muslim entrepreneurs: strategy and internal business processes, business orientation, external stimuli, and Islamic business practices. Approaches to Islamic business practice are critical for improving Muslim entrepreneurs’ company performance.Theoretical contribution/ Originality: This finding is one of the new models of the balanced scorecard theory to measure and improve the performance of Indonesian Muslim entrepreneurs.Practitioner/Policy implication: Integration of business orientation with general approaches and sharia business practices such as halal product orientation and hard work can improve the business performance of Indonesian Muslim entrepreneurs.Research limitation/Implication: This study only investigated the performance of Muslim entrepreneurs in 7 districts/cities in Southeast Sulawesi with a sample of 120 Muslim MSMEs.
