Abstract

The purpose of this research is produce learning set equipment on heat material of ethnoscience based in Tegal district, The results showed that the feasibility of syllabus-based ethnoscience include into the category is very good because it has a percentage of 96,43%. The feasibility learning device of an ethnoscience-based into a very good category because it has a percentage of 91,37%. Ethnoscience-based learning tool able to improve student learning outcomes from the average value of 42,82 to 80,06 and the gains value 0,65. While the questionnaire of student’s learning interest after the application of physics learning device on ethnoscience based heat material in Kabupaten tegal get the average value 3,01 with the high criteria.

Abstract

The aims of this study is to determine the improvement of students' critical thinking skills based on the application of CLIS method (Children Learning In Science) LKS assisted on elasticity and Hooke Law in SMA Negeri 1 Jakenan Pati. This research was conducted at SMA N 1 Jakenan Pati dated October 13 until October 24, 2017. This research used Quasi Experimental design in the form of pretest-posttest control group design. Population in this research is all class XI IPA in SMA Negeri 1 Jakenan Pati, while sample of research used consist of two classes taken by cluster random sampling technique so that obtained class XI IPA 8 which amounted to 40 students as experiment class using  CLIS method (Children Learning In Science) assisted by LKS, and XI IPA 7, amounting to 40 students as control class using Direct Instruction learning model. Based on the result of the research obtained the mean of pretest experimental class is 55,2 and control class 49,45, while value of experimental class postest 79,1 and control class 68,7. The hypothesis testing shows that with t test s2 polled variance magnitude thitung = 19.5 and ttabel = 1.66. This indicates thitung > ttabel, so Ho is rejected which means there is increasing in the effectiveness of CLIS learning method (Children Learning In Science) assisted by LKS on students' critical thinking ability.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the influence of the use of teaching materials there any physics-based vocational skills (vocational skills) to the learning outcomes of students of SMK class X.The research design was quasi-experimental design by type posttest only control design. The subjects were all students of class X Light Vehicle Engineering department SMK Negeri 5 Semarang, amounting to 104 students.Samples were taken by cluster random sampling is a class X TKR 3 as the experimental class amounting to 32 students and class X TKR 2 as the control classamounting to 36 students. This research is motivated by the lack of physics learning outcomes for disadvantaged students to connect between what is learned in how to apply,students' understanding of the concept of matter less, because there is strong knowledge and the uses of instructional materials as a source of learning in the learning process. The results of calculations based on the t-test analysis was obtained tcount> ttable ie 2.93> 1.67 with a significance level of 5% and df = 66. Because tcount> ttable then H0 rejected and Ha accepted.

Abstract

The aim of the research is to know the effect of using bimetal Musschenbroek Bimetal to the skill science processes this type of research conducted by researcher is Quasi Experimental with Non equivalent Control Group Desaign. This population of this research is all of students in Miftahul Falah Junior High school VII 2017/2018 school year which consist of thirty five until forty students. Devided seven classes are VII A, VII B, VII C, VII D, VII E, VII F, VII G, sampling technique in this research using cluster sampling technique. The experimental class was not choosen randomly but determined by the teacher and this taking sampling technique becouse the population is assismed to be normally distributed and in a homogenitas state so that selected VII A class as a contol class and VII D class as experiment class.Technique of data collection is done by using observation sheet method data collection technique were conducted using the observation sheet method skill science processes and documentation. Testing research hypotheseses show. There is significant influence  using Musschenbroek Bimetal to the students science prosess skills, in the test of the hypotheseses the researcher using taster hypothesis t right side from the result of post test show that value  tcount > ttableis  4,35 > 1,67 becouse tcount> ttable so H0  Rejected, Ha is received, so there is a difference influence on the leaning that carred on in the experimental class and control class.

Abstract

AbstrakPendidikan saat ini sangat perlu melatih siswa agar memiliki keterampilan berpikir kritis sehingga memiliki kemampuan bersikap dan berperilaku adaptif dalam menghadapi tantangan dan tuntutan kehidupan sehari-hari. Hal ini diperlukan model pembelajaran yang efektif untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis. Inkuiri terbimbing melatih siswa untuk memecahkan masalah, membuat keputusan, serta mengembangkan kemampuan berpikir kritis. Dalam model pembelajaran ini siswa dituntut lebih aktif, sedangkan guru hanya sebagai fasilitator. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pengaruh model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing berbantuan PhET simulation terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa SMAN 1 Banjarharjo pada pokok bahasan pemantulanan cahaya. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah quasi experimental design dengan menggunakan metode pretest posttest control group design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI MIPA SMAN 1 Banjarharjo, dengan sampel kelas XI MIPA 2 sebagai kelas kontrol dan X MIPA 1 sebagai kelas eksperimen. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh bahwa terdapat perbedaan pengaruh yang signifikan antara kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa yang diajar dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing berbantuan PhET simulations dengan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa yang diajar dengan model pembelajaran konvensional.Kata kunci: Inkuiri Terbimbing, Berpikir Kritis, phET Simulation
