Abstract

It has been done measurement of infiltration capacity on agricultural land in the National University Laboratory and the land plans of building sites in Grahayana, Karawang Barat. Analysis of the infiltration capacity data using the Horton equation model. Measuring the infiltration capacity of the field using a double infiltrometer ring and immersed into the ground. The water advance observation is measured in 5-minute intervals. Measurements were repeated for five days on each land use. The results of the research showed that the average value on agricultural land is relatively slow, which is 6.24 cm/h and on the Land plan site is relatively slow, namely at 5.41 cm/h.

Abstract

Carbon monoxide is a flammable gas and very toxic to humans, to determine the concentration of carbon monoxide (CO) gas requires a tool that can measure the concentration of the gas. The design of the CO gas monitoring measuring instrument in this study has dimensions of 11cm x 8.6 cm x 2.9 cm using the MQ-135 sensor, Arduino Uno microcontroller to control and process the signal, to display temperature and humidity with a 4.2 Inch LCD. Krisbow KD09-224 Carbon Monoxide Meter is a comparison tool or calibrator, against our monitoring gauges. Testing by experimenting as much as 15 times, to determine the value of the measurement uncertainty. Based on the results of the data when testing, the average amount of measurement = 103.33, with a standard deviation δ 1.29, and the uncertainty value of the measurement results is 0,33 %. Thus the system can be used as monitoring of CO gas pollution in units of ppm (parts per million).

Abstract

The construction of toll roads is one of the infrastructure developments; however, the construction of new toll roads is often hindered by complaints from residents in the surrounding areas who feel disturbed by the vibrations caused by vehicles on the toll road. Therefore, there is a need for a vibration monitoring tool that can monitor vibration acceleration. This research has successfully developed an online vibration monitoring tool on the toll road using the MMA7361 accelerometer sensor. Field measurements were conducted for approximately 30 minutes on the edge of the Jakarta-Serpong toll road, specifically at Km-11. Data transmission was done online using the ESP8266 WiFi module and utilizing a portable WiFi hotspot from a cellular phone. The results showed that the magnitude of gravity acceleration changes due to passing vehicles. The measured gravity acceleration value within a distance of 1 meter from the slow lane or approximately the edge of the road shoulder never exceeded 0.5 m/s². At a distance of 10 meters away from the edge of the road shoulder, the gravity acceleration value became 0.07 m/s², which is the threshold that is not perceivable by humans and does not damage any structures.
