Abstract

Dividend policy is a decision to define the part received by shareholders according to the funds they invest as well as the part that will be retained by the company. Dividend payout ratio has been discussed in the financial sector by several researchers since 1961 when Miller and Modigliani proposed the theory of “Signalling Hypothesis”. There are many variables that affect dividend policy including profitability, debt policy, liquidity, growth, investment opportunity set,etc. In this research, Investment Opportunity Set (IOS) is choosen according to the hardness of this observation, the main purpose of this research is to study the proxy of IOS exactly. This research aimed to empirically test the effect of set investment opportunity to the dividend policy. The tested variable in this study was investment opportunity set measured by market-to-book value of equity while the moderating variable was firm size. The sample was 16 companies listed on Indonesian Stock Exchange (I.S.E) 2011-2013 selected through purposive sampling technique. The analytical statistic was a simple linear regression to test the absolute difference value of moderation. The results showed that the investment opportunity set has significant effect on dividend policy because the value of significance IOS less than rate of significance (0,045<0,05), it means that firm size moderation can be used as moderator between investment opportunity set and dividend policy because the value of significance firm size less than rate of significance (0,041<0,05).

Abstract

The research objectives are to (1) Know and analyze the influence of the Transformational Leadership Style on Work Engagement; (2) Knowing and analyzing the influence of Organizational Climate on Work Engagement; (3) Knowing and analyzing the effect of Work Engagement on Job Crafting. The study population was all employees of Central Java Bank KCPS Kudus as many as 30 people with saturated or census sampling techniques. This study uses SPSS software analysis tool version 25 windows and the type of data used is qualitative data derived from the results of a questionnaire which then answers respondents given a score (value) so that it becomes quantitative data, observations in the field using multiple linear regression analysis, where the regression analysis is Y = 10,782 - 0,294 X1 + 0,467 X2 + 0,782 X3, The results showed that the transformational leadership style affected work engagement, organizational climate affected work engagement and work engagement significantly influenced job crafting by 49.9% while the remaining 50.1% influenced by other variables not examined in this study. Based on these results, Bank Leaders should further enhance their adoption of transformational leadership style by being open (transparent), being able to receive constructive input and criticism from subordinates, appearing as a role model for employees, attention to problems faced related to change and encouraging employees to creating creative and innovative ideas as symbols of success

Abstract

This study purpose to analyze the effect of relationship marketing and service performance on customer loyalty with customer satisfaction as a mediation. The sample in this study was customer savers at Bank JatengPurbalingga and taken as many as 100 respondents. The analytical tool used is Partial Least Square andhypothesis testing using t test, and mediation test using the Variance Accounted For method. The results of theanalysis show that there is an influence of relationship marketing and service performance on loyalty (p value0.000 and 0.001), there is an effect of relationship marketing service performance on customer satisfaction (pvalue each 0.000) and there is an effect of customer satisfaction on customer loyalty (0.000). Mediation analysis shows that satisfaction is able to mediate the influence of relationship marketing and serviceperformance on customer loyalty.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze the influence of Discipline, Motivation and Work Experience on the Work Productivity of Micro Service Area Employees at PT Bank Jateng Pemalang Branch. The research method uses a sample of 36 employees using the census method, while the analysis used is a quantitative descriptive method with multiple correlations and multiple regression approaches. Based on the results of the equation analysis, the regression obtained is as follows: Y = 17,961 + 3,241X1 + 1,476X2 + 0,988X3, where X1 = Work Discipline, X2 = Work Motivation, and X3 = Work Experience. Based on hypothesis testing using the T test that motivation and work experience have a positive and significant effect on employee productivity. The results of the study simultaneously using the F test, showed that all independent variables significantly influence employee productivity. R Square value of 0.289. This means that the contribution of the influence of discipline, motivation and experience on productivity is 28.9% while the remaining 71.1% is influenced by other variables not included in this study.

Abstract

The process of eliminating Regional Property is one of the series of assets management that is very important and the main. The process can be an indicator of the responsibility of carrying out the duties and functions of the regional apparatus. The money that has been spent into capital goods should be reported accurately and accountably. This type of research is a qualitative research with a case study approach to BPPKAD Blora Regency. This study aims to analyze the process of eliminating regional property and the suitability of the process of elimination with the regulation of regional property management at the BPPKAD Blora Regency. There are 4 (four) indicators of the framework that influence the elimination process, namely the internal control system, regulations, operating standards and procedures as well as human resources. The research data was obtained by in-depth interviews with officials in charge of policy management of goods consisting of the Head of the Asset Division, Head of Sub-Asset and BPPKAD goods management officer. Data was also obtained from field observations in the form of photos or field documentation. The results of data collection are then analyzed and concluded. The results showed that the process of eliminating regional property was not in accordance with the established operating standards and procedures. The results also showed that the process of eliminating regional property in the Blora Regency BPPKAD was in accordance with regulations on the management of regional property. The Blora Regency Government is constrained by the lack of adequate warehouse facilities so that the process of sending goods requires high costs.

Abstract

Objective: This study examines the effect of implementation of invesment based sales growth (IBSG) on asset improvement in the food and beverages companies from 2017 to 2019. In this research, IBSG consist of tangible asset, company’s growth, positioning, liquidity, sales performance, business risk, firm size, profitability, and tax. Asset Improvement reflected to capital structure which proxy is debt to total asset ratio. Research Design & Methods: The sample is taken according to purposive sampling with the criteria, finally 21 companies are taken from 31 companies. The data were examined with the assistance of SPSS21 software. Data collected from the company's financial statements and measured using a formula adopted from earlier research. Findings: tangible assets have a significant positive effect on capital structure, company’s growth has a significant negative effect on capital structure, positioning has a significant positive effect on capital structure, liquidity has a significant positive effect on capital structure, sales performance has no effect on capital structure, business risk has no effect on capital structure, firm size has a significant positive effect on capital structure, profitability has a significant positive effect on capital structure, an tax has a significant positive effect on capital structure. Limitations & Recommendations: R square value is low, then suggessted to add more variables for future research. the number of company samples is too small, then recommanded to add more period in future research. Contribution & Value Added: This result contributes to the financial literature, especially related to the companies listed in food and beverages companies group. Practically, stakeholders can use this result as additional information in making policy decisions.

Abstract

Investors always use various information to get the maximum profit in investment activities. One such information is the bid ask spread. This study aims to determine the effect of company size, stock prices, stock price volatility and trading volume on the bid ask spread of companies listed in the LQ45 index in the period 2015 to 2018. A total of 14 companies were taken as a purposive sampling sample in order to obtain 56 observational data. The analytical method used in this study is the method of multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that stock prices and stock price volatility affect the bid ask spread. While company size and trading volume do not affect bid ask spread. Investors can consider the size of the company, stock prices, stock price volatility and trading volume to avoid high spreads and get profit in the future.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of family support, communication urgency, technological literacy on the effectiveness of WFH and WFH preferences in the Tegal District Health Office. The population in this study were all Tegal District Health Office employees who worked during the COVID-19 pandemic. The data used is primary data from distributing questionnaires to employees as respondents with a sample of 91 respondents. Data analysis using SEM PLS. The sampling technique used is to use a saturated sample design or a census, which is a sampling technique that thoroughly provides equal opportunities or opportunities for all elements or members of the population to be selected as samples. The results showed that family support, communication urgency, technological literacy had a significant positive effect on the effectiveness of WFH and the effectiveness of WFH was not proven to have a significant effect on WFH preferences.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji bagaimana para pelaku usaha bereaksi terhadap perubahan lingkungan dan memanfaatkan keberadaan modal sosial agar dapat meningkatkan kinerja keuangan dengan mempertimbangkan struktur modal yang mewakili keputusan pendanaan. Kompleksitas permasalahan yang dihadapi, tekanan faktor eksternal dan kelemahan secara internal jika tidak dikelola secara baik akan membuat pelaku usaha dalam jangka pendek terganggu kinerjanya. Variabel penelitian adalah modal sosial, keputusan pendanaan dan kinerja keuangan. Obyek penelitian adalah perusahaan furnitur berorientasi ekspor di kota Semarang yang masih melakukan operasional sampai tahun 2018 sebanyak 35 sampel. Kebutuhan data diperoleh dari responden melalui wawancara terstruktur dan kuesioner. Alat analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis jalur dan uji Sobel untuk menentukan apakah struktur modal yang mewakili keputusan pendanaan mampu memediasi pengaruh modal sosial terhadap kinerja perusahaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa modal sosial terbukti berpengaruh terhadap keputusan pendanaan dengan koefisien regresi sebesar 0,197 dan signifikan pada 0,010. Modal sosial berpengaruh terhadap kinerja keuangan dengan koefisien regresi sebesar 0,645 dan signifikan pada 0,000. Keputusan pendanaan terbukti berpengaruh terhadap kinerja keuangan dengan koefisen regresi sebesar 0,644 dan signifikan pada 0,000. Melalui uji Sobel dapat disimpulkan bahwa keputusan pendanaan mampu memediasi pengaruh modal sosial terhadap kinerja keuangan. Kata kunci : modal sosial, keputusan pendanaan dan kinerja keuangan

Abstract

An increase in green finance will only occur because of the banking intermediary function which can control financial distress. This research aims to measure banking financial distress in order to improve green finance, especially when macroeconomic pressure occurs. This research found that there was a negative period due to financial distress, resulting in a strong decline in green finance. These findings use the Ed Waves Index Development Model based on Bank Indonesia's quarterly financial reports from 2019 to 2023. The findings are categorized into 2 parts, the first part consists of periods 1, 3 and 5 showing a negative relationship with financial distress pressure with minimal response to green finance, while the second part consisting of periods 2 and 4 shows a positive relationship indicating that financial distress pressures respond optimally to green finance. This research contributes to banking financial activities in managing intermediary fluctuations in order to improve green finance in Indonesia.
