Abstract

Dividend policy is a decision to define the part received by shareholders according to the funds they invest as well as the part that will be retained by the company. Dividend payout ratio has been discussed in the financial sector by several researchers since 1961 when Miller and Modigliani proposed the theory of “Signalling Hypothesis”. There are many variables that affect dividend policy including profitability, debt policy, liquidity, growth, investment opportunity set,etc. In this research, Investment Opportunity Set (IOS) is choosen according to the hardness of this observation, the main purpose of this research is to study the proxy of IOS exactly. This research aimed to empirically test the effect of set investment opportunity to the dividend policy. The tested variable in this study was investment opportunity set measured by market-to-book value of equity while the moderating variable was firm size. The sample was 16 companies listed on Indonesian Stock Exchange (I.S.E) 2011-2013 selected through purposive sampling technique. The analytical statistic was a simple linear regression to test the absolute difference value of moderation. The results showed that the investment opportunity set has significant effect on dividend policy because the value of significance IOS less than rate of significance (0,045<0,05), it means that firm size moderation can be used as moderator between investment opportunity set and dividend policy because the value of significance firm size less than rate of significance (0,041<0,05).

Abstract

This study aims to examine and analyze whether there is influence of the working environment and workload against exhaustion in nurses. Observed object are ministerial government agencies that district general hospitals. The sample in this study is a hospital nurses Kardinah Tegal City with a number of 201 nurses as respondents, which consisted of 140 nurses inpatient and 61 outpatient nurse. The sampling technique in this study is purposive sampling and analysis method used is multiple linear regressions. Results of analysis showed the environment variabel inpatient nurses working in a negative influence on weariness.While working environment variabel on an outpatient nurse has no effect on tension. Variable capacity of nurses inpatient and outpatient positive effect on burnout. Of this study obtained a value of 0,525 or 52,5%. It means that 52,5% of burnout variables can be explained by the independent variables are the working environment and workload. The residual 47,5% is explained by other variable outside variable examined.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of human resource competence, quality of financial information, and locus of control on the performance of MSMEs with decision making as an intervening variable at Lurik UMKM Centers in Pedan District and Batik Centers in Bayat District, Klaten Regency. The population in this study were the Lurik UMKM centers in Pedan District and the Bayat Batik Centers, which are the assistance of the Klaten Regency Cooperative and UMKM Service. The sampling technique used random sampling. Methods of data analysis using path analysis. The results of this study are: human resource competence and quality of financial information have an effect on decision making. Locus of control has no effect on decision making. HR competency has no effect on the performance of MSMEs. The quality of financial information and locus of control affect the performance of MSMEs and decision making affects the performance of MSMEs.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of knowledge about islamic banking, religiosity, social environtment, and pocket money on student in saving at islamic banks. The data used in this study is primary data based on a sample of 133 respondent of STIE Bank BPD Central Java taken by purposive sampling and snowball sampling. The data was processed using the Statistical Product Service Solutions (SPSS) analysis tool. By using multiple linear regression anaysis shows that knowledge of islamic banks, religiosity, social environment, and pocket money can explain the variable interest in saving by 79,1 percent. With the result of the analysis which shows that the variables of knowledge about islamic banks, religiosity, and social environtment have a significance of respectively 0,000 < 0,05; 0,012 < 0,05’ and 0,000 < 0,05, which means that the variables of knowledge about islamic banks, religiosity, and social environtment have a significant influence on student’s saving interest in islamic banks. While the pocket money variable has a significance of 0,208 > 0,05, which means that pocket money has no effect on interest in saving in islamic banks.

Abstract

The investment world is one of the areas that has felt the impact, this is due to various restrictions on activities which ultimately affect the activities of the national economy. It is important for investors to maintain, follow and be able to analyze pandemic Covid-19 conditions with proper observations and calculations so that total losses can be minimized as small as possible. A psychological approach to investment decision-making can be done with many factors. The level of trust, historical data, social relationships, emotions, and past experiences can be one of the bases for making investment decisions. The data in this study are primary data obtained by distributing questionnaires to the public in Indonesia via a google form. The sample taken in this study was 100 respondents. Multiple linear regression analysis has been used to analyze the data in this study. Heuristics, Emotion, and considering the past variables have an effect on investment decisions. However, overconfidence and social interaction variables have no significant effect on decision-making when investing.

Abstract

Pemerintah daerah dituntut agar memiliki kinerja yang berorientasi pada kepentingan masyarakat dan mendorong pemerintah untuk senantiasa tanggap akan tuntutan lingkungannya, dengan berupaya memberikan pelayanan terbaik secara transparan dan berkualitas. Kinerja manajerial merupakan alat penilaian untuk memotivasi aparatur dalam mencapai tujuan organisasi secara efektif dan efisien serta menuntun prilaku aparatur untuk sesuai dengan standar prilaku yang telah ditetapkan oleh organisasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menguji pengaruh partisipasi peyusunan anggaran, kejelasan sasaran anggaran, dan akuntabilitas publik terhadap kinerja manajerial pemerintah daerah. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh Organisasi Perangkat Daerah (OPD) di Kabupaten Grobogan. Sampel pada penelitian ini sebanyak 81 responden. Responden terpilih adalah kepala/pimpinan Organisasi Perangkat Daerah (OPD), kepala sub bagian keuangan, kepala sub bagian perencanaan dan evaluasi pada masing-masing Organisasi Perangkat Daerah. Metode pengambilan sampel ini menggunakan purposive sampling. Alat analisis yang digunakan adalah IBM Statistical Package for Sosial Sciences (SPSS) versi 21. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kejelasan sasaran anggaran, dan akuntabilitas publik berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap kinerja manajerial pemerintah daerah. Variabel partisipasi penyusunan anggaran tidak berpengaruh terhadap kinerja manajerial pemerintah daerah.

Abstract

Abstract

Research on the behavior of the millennial generation is very interesting to always study. Moreover, many survey institutions in the HRM sector, such as Deloitte and Gallup, have found that there is a tendency for the millennial generation to transfer jobs from one company to another (turn over). This research intends to examine the factors that influence an employee to have a tendency to change jobs (intention turnover), namely Mental Health and Work Life Balance. By taking 144 millennial employee respondents, the results showed that these two factors had a strong influence on the desire to resign (turn over).
