Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has had an impact on all aspects of life. The Covid-19 pandemic is not only threatening people's health physically, but also mentally. Mental health is one of the impacts that threaten society during the Covid-19 pandemic. Mental health issues are increasingly being recognized as a significant and worrying secondary effect of the COVID-19 pandemic. This study aims to determine the effect of the COVID-19 pandemic on mental health, in this case the tendency for anxiety disorders of pregnant women in South Kalimantan. This research is an observational study. The sample was taken by total sampling from data on pregnant women recorded at the South Kalimantan Provincial Health Office. The COVID-19 pandemic did not have a statistically significant effect on the tendency of anxiety disorders. Of the 3 variables studied, namely age, education and occupation, there was no significant relationship between anxiety disorders in pregnant women during the COVID-19 pandemic

Abstract

KEK merupakan kondisi yang disebabkan karena ketidakseimbangan asupan gizi antara energi dan protein, sehingga zat gizi yang dibutuhkan tubuh tidak tercukupi. Ibu hamil yang menderita KEK mempunyai resiko kematian ibu mendadak pada masa perinatal atau resiko melahirkan bayi dengan berat bayi lahir rendah (BBLR). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran kejadian KEK pada ibu hamil di Puskesmas Pekauman. penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif. Sampel secara purposive sampling yang diambil dari data PWS KIA tahun 2018 yaitu 135 orang ibu hamil KEK. Hasil menunjukkan Ibu hamil yang mengalami KEK mayoritas berumur 20-35 tahun sebanyak 99 responden (73,3%), berpendidikan Rendah yaitu SD dan SMP sebanyak 88 responden (65,2%), memiliki kadar Hemoglobin (Hb) normal atau tidak mengalami anemia sebanyak 116 responden (85,9%), dan pada periode kehamilan trimester 1 yaitu sebanyak 83 responden (61,5%). Hasil penelitian ini dapat dijadikan acuan untuk meningkatkan upaya deteksi dini ibu hamil agar segera mendapatkan penanganan

Abstract

Permasalahan gizi di Indonesia masih menjadi pekerjaan rumah yang belum terselesaikan. Masalah kekurangan gizi mikro seperti anemia adalah salah satu dari beberapa masalah yang terjadi di Indonesia. Remaja putri pada masa pubertas sangat berisiko mengalami anemia gizi besi. Penyebabnya adalah  banyaknya zat besi yang hilang selama proses menstruasi. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan ini adalah dengan penyuluhan kepada siswa sekolah dasar di SDN Kaarang Indah Barito Kuala berjumlah 6 orang siswi. Media yang digunakan adalah flyer, PPT dan Leaflet serta Tablet Tambah Darah (Fe dan Asam Folat). Hasil: remaja dapat memahami tentang pengertian anemia, penyebab anemia, cara mengatasi anemia, dan cara meminum tablet tambah darah dibuktikan dengan evaluasi langsung setelah penyuluhan dilakukan. Kesimpulan: Pelaksanaan edukasi tentang anemia pada remaja dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan remaja tentang pencegahan anemia dan cara yang benar mengkonsumsi tablet tambah darah.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan pengetahuan ibu nifas tentang perawatan luka perineum dengan kebersihan luka perineum pada masa nifas hari ke 2 di ruang VK Bersalin Rumah Sakit Islam Banjarmasin. Penelitian ini adalah studi analitik rancangan Cross Sectional. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah ibu nifas hari kedua dengan luka perineum di Rumah Sakit Islam Banjarmasin Kalimantan Selatan di bulan September tahun 2012, dengan teknik pengambilan sampel secara accidental sampling yaitu semua ibu yang melahirkan di rumah sakit Islam Banjarmasin dengan luka perineum hari ke-2 pada bulan September 2012. Analisis data menggunakan statistik parametrik dengan rumus Spearman Rank (Rho). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang diperoleh, uji statistik Spearman Rho menunjukkan tingkat signifikasi atau p value sebesar 0.001, nilai tersebut secara statistik bermakna (p < 0.05), hal ini menunjkkan bahwa ada hubungan antara pengetahuan ibu nifas tentang perawatan luka perineum dengan kebersihan luka perineum pada massa nifas hari ke 2 di Rumah Sakit Islam Banjarmasin.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Pendahuluan: Persalinan merupakan suatu hal fisiologis yang dialami oleh setiap ibu bersalin dan suatu hal yang menakjubkan bagi ibu dan keluarga. Namun persalinan juga menjadi saat yang menegangkan dan dapat menggugah emosi ibu dan keluarganya atau bahkan menakutkan bagi ibu. Upaya untuk mengatasi gangguan emosional dan pengalaman yang menegangkan tersebut sebaiknya dilakukan melalui asuhan sayang ibu selama persalinan dan proses kelahiran bayinya.Tujuan: Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat berupa penyuluhan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan pemahaman ibu tentang kebutuhan dasar ibu bersalin.Metode: Kegiatan dimulai dengan perkenalan dan penjelasan tujuan kegiatan. Kemudian peserta diberikan soal pre test untuk mengetahui pemahaman peserta tentang kebutuhan dasar ibu bersalin. Selanjutnya peserta diberikan penyuluhan dengan cermah, tanya jawab dan diskusi. Setelah itu dilanjutkan dengan senam hamil. Pada sesi terakhir, peserta diberikan soal post test dengan pertanyaan yang sama dengan pre test untuk dilakukan penilaian terhadap peningkatan pengetahuan ibu.Hasil: rerata nilai post test peserta penyuluhan (88,9) lebih tinggi dibandingkan nilai pre test penyuluhan (66,7). Hasil post test yang dilakukan oleh peserta menunjukkan materi dapat diterima oleh peserta dengan baik.Kesimpulan:      Perlu pemberian edukasi atau penyuluhan secara terus-menerus tentang kebutuhan dasar ibu bersalin yang dapat dilaksanakan  dalam kelas ibu hamil. Kata kunci: kebutuhan dasar, ibu bersalin, kelas ibu hamil

Abstract

Limited knowledge of pregnant women about danger signs of pregnancy poses a risk of problems in pregnancy. The purpose of this counseling is so that pregnant women can increase their knowledge and maintain health during pregnancy. The method used is counseling by exposing material about danger signs in pregnancy accompanied by evaluation of activities in the form of pretest and posttest. The result of this counseling is a significant increase in knowledge as indicated by the results of the posttest with a score of 90% for the participants. The conclusion from this activity is that the implementation of community service in the form of health education regarding danger signs of pregnancy significantly affects mother's knowledge.

Abstract

− Introduction: The COVID-19 pandemic can threaten the psychological health of pregnant women such as anxiety, stress, and depression. The aims of this study was to determine the effect of the COVID-19 pandemic on the stress tendency of pregnant women. Methods: a cross-sectional study on pregnant women in the province of South Kalimantan. The inclusion criteria in this study were pregnant women who live in South Kalimantan Province; pregnant women in the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd trimesters; pregnant women who are exposed, not exposed, have been exposed, and have never been exposed to COVID-19; pregnant women who have a smartphone device. respondents in this study were 60 respondents. Perceived stress was assessed using the Perceived Stress Scale (PSS) questionnaire, which was distributed through social media Results: The results of the study showed that there were differences in the tendency of stress experienced by pregnant women during a pandemic and not a COVID-19 pandemic (p value 0.005). Analysis of the effect of the variable gestational age (p 0.44) and discomfort during pregnancy (p 0.07) showed that there was no tendency to stress in pregnant women. Conclusions: The gestational age and discomfort experienced by pregnant women do not indicate a tendency to stress in pregnant women. However, the COVID-19 pandemic has a tendency to have a significant effect on the stress of pregnant women. Health workers need to take preventive and curative measures to help pregnant women who experience stress.

Abstract

Improving maternal and child health has always been a concern every year; it remains a concern throughout the world, various efforts have been made to raise the level to a higher level. The most significant contributor is neonatal mortality; worldwide, in 2015 it was 21 neonatal deaths per 1000 live births. South Kalimantan province accounted for 578 infant deaths in 2018, and Banjar Regency was the third-largest contributor to infant mortality, with 72 deaths. This research used a descriptive method. The sample in this study was 32 postpartum mothers who had newborns from 0-28 days old. Midwife assistance for postpartum mothers caring for newborns is assisted by 93% and unaccompanied by 7%. The mother's independence in performing umbilical cord care is 70% dependent, 15% independent, and 15% total dependence. The mother's independence in bathing the baby is 47% dependent, 40% independent, and total dependence 12%. The mother's independence in breastfeeds their baby is 78% independent, 15% dependent, and 7% total dependence. It is hoped that midwives will continue to provide maximum education and assistance to postpartum mothers to increase mothers' independence in caring for. Keywords: Assistance, Independence, postpartum mothers, newborns
